This quest really ticks me off. I'm <i>Exalted</i> with the Thorium Brotherhood so what, exactly, do I have to prove?

Rep is not 250 as stated; I just did the quest and got 1200 rep with guild and bonus for human, so it appears to be 1000 now if you have no buffs.

This quest made me laugh. Well, now since Battle for Azeroth is live and we can play Dark Iron Dwarfs I mean. I'm a Dark Iron Dwarf, and this quest wants me to "prove my allegiance" by killing. . . Dark Iron Dwarfs. Once again, as with the Highmountain Tauren and Nightborne, Blizzard programmers didn't think things through completely. In legions, after Mayla sends me out to the world as a level 20 Highmountain Tauren to help the Horde, and I come back at level 100 to be told by Oro where Mayla is and exactly who Mayla and Huln Highmountain are. As a Nightborne, after Thalyssra sends me out as a level 20 Nightborne and I return at level 100, not only do I get to learn all about the Nightborne and what they went though, but I also have to wear a masquerade mask when I enter Suramar so I can look like, get this, a Nightborne.

And here, as a Dark Iron Dwarf, I have to prove my allegiance by killing my brothers and sisters. No, I'm not a traitor, no I'm not a spy. I'm simply questing to assist the Alliance in their Battle for Azeroth. I think Blizzard programmers need to brush up on World of Warcraft lore before they write these things. Granted, this is OLD content. And at the time we WERE fighting the Dark Iron Dwarfs. But they've updated many things to accommodate the new expansions. Yet, they leave this kind of stuff, both in Legions and now BfA to "break" lore. Wow, to say the least.

Description

Yer welcome to stay in Chiselgrip for a time, but I need to know that yer a friend. So I've got a task for ye.

We of the Thorium Brotherhood're not the only dark irons here in the steppes. Far from it. We're pretty badly outnumbered by the dark irons of Blackrock Mountain. We've got a safe enough foothold here in Chiselgrip, but even so, they still pester us from as close as the Ruins of Thaurissan, to the north.

Prove yerself, <race>. Kill 'em for me.
