This quest "pops" up while you are doing Grunt Work. You don't have to talk to anyone.

Gorlop was not immediately there when I arrived at his spot (the lava pool + altar behind Worgmistress Othana). I walked around between the pool and altar a few times and he appeared toward the east and came running over.

If you miss the discovery quest for some reason, you can obtain the quest from Colonel Troteman in Chiselgrip - right across the way from The Pillar of Ash

Make sure you use the quest item! I hadn't died questing in about 30 levels, and after meleeing down Gorlop and Voodooist Timan on my feral druid I tried to clear out a few worgs and then pull Worgmistress Othana, but the other worgs always came and they hit hard since they have to kill her after you stab her with the quest item. So unless you are high enough level, use the quest item on at least her.

Then:
Return to Keeshan

Gorlop was bugged for me, had the disguise on but said invalid target when i tried to use the stinger on him.

Took the disguise off and was able to kill him without out it for credit.

Gorlop was "double" glitched for me. He was an "invalid target" in disguise, and he would *Evade* every time I tried to attack him... I'm persistent, though, and I tried my Explosive Trap, he appeared to *Evade* every other tick, but after something like 10 explosive traps, I finally killed him and got credit.

Gorlop seems to run between several pools of lava, not just where the quest marker is. If you are patient, you can just wait for him to patrol over to that one.

Description

<Static> <name>... <name>, can you hear me? It's Troteman.

Listen, we've just received the final bit of intel for your next mission. There are three marks that we'd like you to take down. The first is Voodooist Timan, whom you'll find atop the Pillar of Ash. Worgmistress Othana is in the central worg pens. Finally, Gorlop is near the lava pools to the south.

You will find the scorpid barbs you harvested packed along with your belongings. Use the barbs on the marks when the time is right.
