This is part of the Iron Colossus chain which begins and ends with Bouldercrag the Rockshaper.

All 3 forges are in the ground level pit near the feet of the colossus. Don't go looking for anything that looks like a blacksmith's forge - they look like brown dwarf heads with blue crystals on top and they're smaller than you might expect. They're arranged in a straight line from 28.9,45.8 to 30.2,46.1. Plenty of artificers are handy so bring the other quest.

The coords for these are: North 29.0-45.9, Central 29.6-45.9, South 30.3-46.1. All are on the ground. North has 2 Stormforged Artificers to take out and the others just one.

I tried using the item while flying, and I can confirm that it does not work. You will get dismounted (assuming you checked that option in the interface menu).

I would just like to say, that if you're as easily confused as I am...it's the big construction ground with the tents and the giant dwarf dude. Don't try to throw the bomb at the SAME dwarf-head forges where you had to break the loken thingies.

He actually thought that Loken built a massive Iron Colossus large enough to level a continent to mock a few Earthen?

Destroy the Forges!

Destroy the North Lightning Forge, the Central Lightning Forge, and the South Lightning Forge with Bouldercrag's Bombs, then return to Bouldercrag the Rockshaper at Bouldercrag's Refuge.

Description

In my folly, I'd thought Valduran's project at Narvir's Cradle, a large construction area to the south, no more than a grotesque monument to "Keeper" Loken's cruelty.

Now we know the truth, that it was meant to be used as a weapon against us and our allies. We must not allow this iron colossus to reach completion, <name>, for it will mean the end of the refuge.

Go to Narvir's Cradle, find the lightning forges the stormforged artisans use, and sabotage them.
