When you ride Frostbite you have to protect him as you use him as a vehicle. You have no control over him but get 2 abilities, a net and a ice slide. Dwarves will spawn and chase you and you can either net them or slow them with ice. Mammoths also tend to aggro and unforunately you can't do anything against them.

after completing quest (ride a cat and kill Thulin) use item from Thulin - Branns Comunicator (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40971) to summon some mob and complete Quest. And if you destroy Branns Comunicator item you can take new one at Crash site from Moteha Windborn (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=29937)

This quest was easy until the damn rhinos started chasing me and covering up the dwarves, making them nearly impossible to select for netting. I discovered toggling the enemy name plate bars on (default key 'V') makes the dwarves easier to select, though it can still be a bit tricky. Also, Ice Slick seems to aggro even the yellow rhinos (I had two chasing me, anyway), though it won't do anything to stop them. Be warned.

Otherwise it's a fun quest. Don't let me dissuade you.

Getting to ride a Frostsaber with my undead toon was an absolute joy that those pesky dwarves couldn't tarnish.
I didn't turn in the quest at first just so I could get another ride *sigh*

As a follow-up to this comment. When I did this quest I killed the guy and got the communicator but after that when I'd used it I didn't accept the next quest but went to do some IRL stuf for a couple of seconds and the dwarf despawned and I no longer had the communicator.

Just as a warning. No problem all in all but quite frustrating.

Mount Frostbite, use the net and ice slick to slow down attackers that follow, kill the dude in the cave and loot him. After you get the communicator, fly back to the crash site, 'use' the communicator,(ie click on it in your inventory). Brann will appear with a question mark. Hand in the quest and accept the next one - the NPC in is the hide covered shelter. Sounds simple but I flew around aimlessly for a while trying to find the hand in location. When all else fails - READ THE QUEST :)

Just found this out, if you have a "Loaned Wind Rider" then if you mount "Frostbite" your "Wind Rider" will follow you and act as your pet. hehe.

I believe this is a reference to the book series "A Game of Thrones" By George R. R. Martin

Daenerys Targaryen recieves the title of Khaleesi in the series. She wants to claim the throne from the usurpator and always talks about "Sniffing out the Usurpator" which is the unrightful king of the throne

Thulin's respawn rate is fast, so I wouldn't try to go afk afterwards. Not like I tried >.>

As a quick aside, if you aggro a Rhino, the ice slick will work to slow them down. The net can only target the dwarves.

Horde (5.3) - 40.7,50.3 starts it, just hop on the tiger and ride, toss nets on guys as they attack.

48.1,60.0 is the cave entrance where it takes you.

Kill the guy inside (Tracker Thulin), now says complete, and in your bag should be Brann's Communicator. This is where I got screwed up because doesn't highlight in yellow like a quest item so missed seeing it. Anyway, use it at the cave entrance @ 48.1,60.0 and Brann shows up.

Starts 'Speak Orcish, Man!' which leads to Grom'Arsh Crash Site up on the peak @ 37.3,49.7

I picked up this quest without even reading it, then started doing other quests, went back to get on the cat and couldn't find him so I abandoned the quest, when I did find where I picked up the quest, they aren't friendly anymore, so just a side note, when you pick this one up, do it right away!

Just did some research and found that Alliance picks this up from this guy: Archaeologist Andorin

If you are like me and half read the quest and took off for another, you can find/mount Frostbite by Grom'arsh Crash Site (coords 41/51). He is standing by his hunter, Khaliisi, at the base of the mountains.

40.80, 51.23, ride tiger (it auto pilots to the cave) spam the net and ice spells on the enemies behind you then kill Thulin.

If you are like me and totally lost on where to turn this in because, it’s clear as a bell, NOT.
Go to your bag and you’ll have a blueish strange item. That’s Brann’s communicator. You will need it thru quite a few more quests in this quest line.
So keep it safe.

Mount Frostbite and ride her to the source of the scent from Brann's note. Then, recover Brann's Communicator and use it to make contact with Brann Bronzebeard.

Description

Boktar can have his way this time, but I'll expect him to make it up to me. Don't look at me like that. Boktar may be in command, but no one tells a hunter what to do.

'Put that beast away,' he says. 'Make it stop growling.'

All of a sudden he changes his mind when it suits him. Next time he complains, Frostbite'll just nip him a bit. Don't worry, she'll do an admirable job tracking your prey. After she locates her target, you're on your own to deal with iron dwarves, or Brann, or whatever you find.
