Im have hunted the red version of this (Cindercloth), an therefore I found some items and cloth that matches the black here.
Im not listing anything that not everyone can use... so there is no "mage only" in this list of items (Except for faction limitations).

To explain my "system" :)
This is the Basic linie up for each item:
"Place": "Item-name/link" - "Where it comes from" (Who can make it, who drops it, which quest reward or where can I buy it?)
Multiple "Head(1)" means that although the items have another name, it is the same model and color and can be used as a substitute
"Head(2)" means that this is a different item, and it does not look anything like the "Head(1)" but it matches the set anyway, and therefore it could be an idea to see if this is something that you like more then the others.

Black color edition (This one):

If you like the robe, try this shoulders 君主衬肩 they looks so much better.
The 黑色魔纹护肩 shoulders are definitly made for the sexy vest, but not for the robe. And like, someone said before, the 邪恶女巫帽 is a great option for the head slot.

This set uses the Black variant of the "C5 Cloth" artwork and forms a complete five-piece set of the art.

There actually isn't any artwork for a headpiece, shoulders or belt in this set. Choose whatever you like, as there are no pieces designed to match.

There's a long-sleeved version of the chest: 风暴尖塔外衣.

Since I had done the hellfire quest, the pants were out. So it was off to replace them. While pants of the Naaru worked, the Elegant pants left no blank section and appeared gold. For the boots, PVP lock boots can fill the slot until that bloody bird gives me the windwalker's. The bracers are a passable replacement for Crystalweave until I can &*!@# myself into a Bash'ir Landing Run. Several choice weapons are included.

I'm using the vest set on my mage but I can't find a good belt to go with it. Any ideas?

If you like the look of this set, then you could replace the head with a Laughing Skull Cap, personally i think this looks better while still matching the set!
I've submitted a screenshot of my armor set with the Laughing Skull Cap the stave im using is the Feral Warp-Staff and the cloak is the Dark Leather Cloak although this set looks good without a cloak too! (Show/hide cloak ofc)

So badly wanted to transmog the horrid mage Cataclysmic pvp gear in a manner that was fairly easy to do. Came up with the following set based on this one, which looks pretty good:

Head: 黑色魔纹头带
Shoulder: 黑色魔纹护肩
Cloak: 多莉的拥抱 (312 justice points form 基厄拉斯 in Shattrath city)
Chest: 灵纹外套
Shirt: 灰色毛纺衬衣
Wrist: 灵纹护腕
Hands: 黑色魔纹手套
Waist: 灵纹腰带
Legs: 灵纹短裤
Feet: 霜纹长靴

Paired this with:
Weapon: 统驭双刃 (from 潘德莫努斯 heroic 法力陵墓)
Off-hand: 月光宝珠 (vendor 艾拉·影暴 Molten Front)

Materials to create tailored items:

My mage is a goblin mage and "big" hands and feet look pretty clunky on him, so used the more streamlined versions in the set.

I used all of the black mageweave set I could, then found a few items to use for the waist and wrist. The waist is gray and goes great with the shoulders. The wrists are purple and go good with the chest. Posting a screenshot to show the combination.

For warlocks, the brutal gladiators felweave head, shoulders and gloves do wonders. Also, guardian's dreadweave belt gets two thumbs up.

Using this as the base for my 血精灵术士 custom armor set. The full look uses 黑色魔纹外衣, 虚空之心衬肩, 虚空之心手套, 炼狱腰带, 黑色魔纹短裤 and 地狱巫师之靴. 3d link
While I cant really decide on a head peace I've found the 大石匠的眼镜 works as a great place holder till I find something more permanent.

For none 术士s that play horde you may want to try 灾降衬肩 and 圣徒裹手. 3d link
I know it doesn't quite match, but it is very close and works with it.

If you don't want the... risque look, 特雷莱恩的护腿 are a nice alternative to the 黑色魔纹短裤.

Also, 车队腕带 is a nice belt choice for this set.

With WoD patch, we've got one nice staff that would perfectly match this set:
Tormented Spire
There are many similar staffs to this, they are obtainable in dungeons or from quests.

My take with the mageweave set. Only annoyance is the green glow on the shoulders, if I could only make the glow purple.

Please help! I have transmorged my Mage's outfit - a Draenei and i can't get that robe and head scarf off....anyone have a suggestion...Level 60 or I'd start a new one and don't want to pay to change type.
