These dailies are currently bugged (I think not for everyone, but enough people that it's not "just you"). After completing the dailies the first day of unlocking them, they will not reappear after the reset. This is now a known issue, there is no workaround, and all we can do is wait on the devs to implement a fix.

Response to my second ticket:
Unfortunately these issues seem to be more widespread that first thought, and we do not currently have any fixes which are effective. We've passed this to our developers who are working on the issue, and we hope that they will be able to deploy a fix shortly.

The glitch appears to have been fixed as of 2012-12-02, anyone still experiencing issues should go through standard troubleshooting and then ticket if that doesn't resolve it.

After you complete 熊猫人驭灵师 and choose your pet, you will unlock the Pandaren Spirit Tamer dailies. Defeating the 熊猫人雷霆之灵 will reward 熊猫人古灵宠物补给, which has a chance to drop the 熊猫人地灵* pet.

The Thundering Pandaren's team consists of legendary quality, level 25 pets:

熊猫人地灵 (Elemental) with abilities 水晶牢笼, 地突刺, and 投石
泥团 (Magic) with abilities 蠕行软泥, 净除, and 软泥之触
钻地鼠达纳克 (Beast) with abilities 钻地, 巨石奔袭, and 石肤术

Arguably one of the harder Spirit Tamers. Be warned that the Earth Spirit himself likes to start off by stunning you right off the bat - often twice - with 水晶牢笼 followed by 地突刺. Pets with high speed will definitely help, or 缭乱之舞 if you have it handy. A 剥石者幼崽 or 君王蟹 can also work well, or pets that can heal.

*Note that the bags dropped by each of the Spirit Tamers have different item IDs and loot tables! You can only obtain the 熊猫人地灵 pet from the bag that 熊猫人雷霆之灵 rewards. For a chance at the other pets, defeat the other Tamers:

I used the Panther Cub, Celestial Dragon, and Clockwork Gnome.
I started over and over until the critter was first.
Screech, then Pounce with Panther....
Until the Panther is either stunning by the elemental or dead...

Celestial Dragon Arcane Storm to stop stunning, then Breath till Dragon is dead.

Panther if not dead, pouncing.

Clockwork Gnome Metal Fist for the rest of the fight...

If it's the Earth Spirit itself giving you trouble, try a simple Rat-type. He'll use his Stone Prison, which you'll break out of instantly since you're a Critter, which gives you a free move. In addition, the elemental attacks will be weak against you, and after you defeat the Spirit, you can Stampede the next pokemon to come out to add double-damage to your enemy. (Don't expect a simple, sad little Rat to last much longer than this, however.)

Here's my strategy write-up for those who do these guys as dailies, and want an easier way of handling them, and this may be of use for those who are taking these guys on for the first time. I go for efficiency here - you'll see me recommending a lot of the same pet, because if you're doing these once a day, you don't want each one to leave you in a panic. The Pandaren Spirits are Legendary quality, so they have high survivability - but they're very easy to beat if you use a specific type of pet, so their attacks against you are weak and your attacks against them are strong. I advise 25 Rares, but if you have the right setup, you can live dangerously and go a few levels lower/use uncommon if you want.

The pets don't always appear in the order listed (trainers at time switch the order of their pets), but you can run from the fight and try again, or switch your own order of pets, if you'd like more choice in your set up. Eventually you'll get a line-up you're more comfortable with.

Pandaren Earth Spirit, Elemental - Crystal Prison, Rupture, Stone Shot
1769 HP, 300 Speed, 334 Attack
The Earth Spirit is predictable, because, although he starts out by CC'ing you, he uses standard Elemental moves after that, which are weak against Critters - and Critters also break out of that CC right away. So start with a fast Critter, preferably one with Aquatic moves (which Elementals are weak against) like a Rapana Whelk or any sort of Snail (WELL-worth the investment if you're doing the Spirit Tamers), and this dude will be down before you know it. If you do not yet have a Whelk, pick a fast Critter so you can get the first move!

Typical attack script pattern: Crystal Prison, Rupture, Stone Shot, Stone Shot, Stone Shot

Sludgy, Critter - Creeping Ooze, Expunge, Ooze Touch
1769 HP, 334 Speed, 300 Attack
When it comes to Sludgy, he's primed to beat the crap out Elementals and Flying-types, but his natural Beast predators have no immunity here, so you can feel free to whip out a strong Beast to tear him apart. But... if we want to be efficient, we should instead use a Mech with Beast abilities, since Mechs are resistant to 2 of his Critter abilities - an Anodized Robo Cub works great here. Just keep in mind that, when Sludgy dies and you're up against Darnak, the Robo Cub ain't gonna last long.

Typical attack script pattern: Expunge, Creeping Ooze, Ooze Touch, Ooze Touch

Darnak the Tunneler, Beast - Burrow, Stone Rush, Stoneskin
1975 HP, 300 Speed, 300 Attack
For Darnak, the toughest of the batch, you'll notice that he has two moves that makes him annoying as sin: Burrow (anti-critter, weak-flying) and Stone Rush (anti-mechanical, weak-critter). He typically starts with Stone Skin, Burrows, and then Stone Rushes you until you're on the floor crying/til Burrow's back up. Because he's a Beast type, you'd naturally be inclined to use a Mechanical against him - however, Stone Rush will hit around 1k damage, taking out your Mech quickly. And because Burrow is purely anti-Critter, that takes a Critter off the table. So a good pet here would be something that has Mechanical moves, but isn't itself a Mechanical. The most accessible pet I've found has been the Enchanted Broom, which has two solid mechs, as well as a anti-nuke racial. Alternatively, if you're one of the lucky few: Grunty would work great here. If you can't acquire either, another great option is a flying pet with high health and a strong nuke (such as Lift-Off, which will let you avoid his Burrow).

Typical attack script pattern: Stoneskin, Burrow (dig in), Burrow (burst out), Stone Rush, (Pass ), Stone Rush

Darnak's Stone Rush now has a 1 turn cooldown, making him have no moves to use on some turns. This makes this fight a much easier challenge.

So here's my team for this fight:

Fawn -- easily takes care of the elemental, as it takes reduced damage, doesn't respond to the CC effects the elemental doles out, and can heal itself.

Twilight Spider -- takes care of the critter. However, you have to switch one of the abilities, specifically the third one. Swap "Leech Life" out for "Spiderling Swarm" and you can two-shot the critter.

Clockwork Gnome -- takes care of the beast, but once again, it's necessary to swap abilities. the gnome's turret ability will do you no good here. The beast will do a lot of a damage and fast, so switch out "Build Turret" for "Launch Rocket" and launch that rocket immediately. If that doesn't finish off the beast, one more Metal Fist attack will.

After trying multiple teams and strategies, I've fully settled on this one. Ever since I switched to this team (with these specific abilities -- don't forget to change them each time you swap in the pets because the game does NOT remember your preferred abilities), I beat this elemental on the first try every day.

So what I did was to pull him untill I got the critter and use my 高山幼狐 with 撕咬, 嚎叫 and 缭乱之舞. They killed each other, Then I swtiched to 草地欢跳者 with 尖啸, 茧缚之击 and 自然之触 and used Screech to get higher speed and Cocoon Strike on every 地突刺 and Healing on cooldown then I used the same on the beast, Coocon Strike on every 钻地 and just grind it down with screech.

Easy and one slot open for leveling

A friend of mine gave me a strat for the Earth Spirit..Start with a Crystal spider..use the stun..the Earth spirit will fall back and the ooze will pop out..weak to the spider..kill the ooze and then start killing the Earth spirit..he will use the stun first (no damage) then use the hard hitting ability with chance of stun..spider dead but he's out of stuns for 3 rounds...smoke him and u are the winner!

One of the hardest things about this fight is that the final pet is a beast with an extremely hard-hitting magic attack (albeit one on a cooldown). One requires magical attacks to exploit its weakness as a beast, but the magic attack will cause your pet to get nearly one-shotted. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of pets out there with mechanical attacks that aren't mechanical themself.

I have found one easy-to-acquire pet that is a great counter for this though: the Mechanical Zeppelin from the Darkmoon Faire (http://www.wowhead.com/spell=103549#taught-by-item). The key is its ability "Decoy". Decoy is a 5-round cooldown ability that puts up a target dummy. The target dummy will block the next two attacks against your team and has infinitely-long duration (that is, the Dummy will not despawn after a certain number of rounds; rather, it will stay for any number of rounds until it gets hit twice). The beast that Thundering Pandaren Tamer uses has two attacks, and both have 3-round cooldowns to them, meaning that the Decoy ability can be used to block almost every single attack he does (with the cooldown coming up almost as fast as he can do 2 attacks). He elemental attack will still hit incredibly hard, but he won't get many hits in; probably one at most.

And of course the Zeppelin uses an array of sufficiently strong mechanical attacks.

Was able to defeat this using Fluxfire Feline, Purple Puffer, as well as, Disgusting Oozling. Both my Fluxfire and Puffer died; however, my Oozling survived with plenty of health left.

A lot of people were saying this Pandaren spirit was very annoying, but I recommend getting a Bandicoon. Having one of those leveled (mine is rare) makes this actually the easiest one for me, personally. Bandicoons (and other similar pets) are just monsters VS this tamer. My level 23 Bandicoon could easily solo the Pandaren Earth Spirit. Once it got to 25 it could take the spirit, plus 1 other pet, then maybe a few hits on the 3rd one if I'm lucky.

For his abilities I use..
Tongue Lash
Survival
Powerball

Since he's a critter, he takes reduced damage AND also the Earth spirit's multiple CC's are nearly useless vs a critter. During battle versus the Pandaren Earth spirit, I just powerball once at the beginning and then spam my Tongue Lash. Works pretty good and you can get lots of free hits in on other pets in the lineup too because of well-timed Survivals (Makes you unkillable on the next turn).

Tanukis also have the same skills available, if you would prefer one of those instead.

This guy was easy with my Sandy Petrel, Repana Whelk and Fluxfire Feline. All pets survived too. Whelk for the spirit, feline on the sludge and Petrel on the mole.

hi wowhead users,
simply yet effective guide on farming all legendary spirits with only 2 pets!
as a result you can level a 3rd pet on any trainer which gives insane amounts of XP

you will kill any legedary trainer first try unless you have an insane amount of back luck!

AIR: (hardcounter vs all 3: dragons)
any dragon with tail sweep will do, healing flame is nice aswell, use 2 of them (e.g. 奥妮克希亚龙宝宝)
if you don't have a second dragon pet, don't worry, your dragon will almost kill 3 guys solo; any 2nd pet will do that is not aquatic
chose your 3rd pet as desired (leveling pet or w/e)

WATER: (hardcounter vs all 3: magic)
i strongly suggest the 恶心的软泥怪 since he can solo all 3 pets without dying using absorb/acidic goo/corrosion
if you want backup, chose another magic pet or any decent flying pet such as 露羽飞蛾
chose your 3rd pet as desired (leveling pet or w/e)

EARTH: (the is no real hardcounter sadly, but a fast critter will work wonders)
get a critter that is faster than the earth spirit such as a 小野兔 that can make use of strong defensiv cooldowns like dodge and burrow
the second pet is more tricky, since you need to kill 2 guys fast. i've done a lot of testing - long story short - 焊接小猫 is the way to go
chose your 3rd pet as desired (leveling pet or w/e)

FIRE: (again no real hardcounter ;( )
depends on that the NPC starts with (you might restart the fight if its the wrong pet) use your fast critter pet such as a 小野兔 to kill the fire spirit and dps down the dragon as far as you can
then go on with a dragon pet yourself like 奥妮克希亚龙宝宝 once you have killed it, the flying pet is no match.

If you're looking to use this trainer to level a pet, I've found a set of 2 pets that can kill it, though it is a fairly close fight.

Pet 1: Begin with Stone Armadillo (石犰狳); there may be other similar pets that work. The important aspects are that it must be a critter with Powerball and a barrier and it must have a beast Thrash. You will need to pull until the trainer begins with the elemental pet. It will open by double-stunning you, which you can't do anything about; because Armadillo is a critter, the stun won't last for the next round, but it will stop you from acting. Elemental attacks are weak against critter, so all the enemy's attacks are weak to you. Get Shell Shield up and the attacks will hit pretty light. You want to Powerball enough times to be faster than the critter that comes up next, which will probably be twice but will be dependent on the speed of your pet. After this, the elemental becomes trivial to kill; you're faster, you don't take much damage per hit, and being a critter his stuns won't do anything.

He'll summon his critter pet next. Use Thrash to get a lot of damage onto it. You'll probably die, but you should bring the enemy's critter to half-health if not better (the Thrash will introduce a little bit of randomness).

Pet 2: Bring out a Darkmoon Zeppelin (暗月飞艇). This pet is uniquely qualified to win this fight, so you don't want to substitute it for anything else. Use the Zeppelin to destroy the enemy's critter; luckily, this enemy uses Magic, so its damage will be weak against your Zeppelin.

Now here's the trickiest part of the fight if you have a low level pet you want to gain levels on; getting this thing out and having it attack once without it dying. There's two windows in the fight to do this. The first is immediately after the trainer's critter dies. It will spend its first attack casting a shield on itself and its second turn Burrowing, giving a two-turn window where it will do no damage. You can use this time to summon your pet and attack without getting hit. The downside is that your Zeppelin will get slammed with a back-to-back burrow hit then an elemental attack that will probably do enough damage to proc its mechanical rebirth. The second option is to have the Zeppelin set up its Decoy (which soaks two attacks) then bring out your low level pet; since Decoy soaks two attacks, this can be done safely. I suggest the latter.

After you have gotten your low level pet out and your Zeppelin is back out, this becomes easy. Keep up Decoy; the enemy only attacks twice every four rounds, so you can soak almost all its attacks with Decoy. Just keep blasting it and it'll die.

After read a bit (loads and loads of strategies) here is a summary how to kill him:
First Pet:
Choose a really fast pet with any block skill.
For example, at the time I first killed the elemental (oh yes, you should beat him first) I used since he has a speed of 357. Started with so he stunned me and I blocked the next attack and killed him easily jumping from to and damaging with . Must say, he didnt hitted me once.

Second Pet:
Soon died for the Ooze I brought my killing machine and finished him fast (PS: love that pet).

Thrid Pet:
Ended with just because I love turtles.

So all you need is very very very fast pet with a dodge, reflect, block spell to start and some massive damage machines against critters and beasts to end the job.

Ok, so, for those looking to 2-pet this trainer, I've found a way to do it in patch 5.2 It's harder than in 5.1 and leaves less margin for error, but it doesn't rely on any particularly hard rng. The nice thing is that you can level a level 1 pet this way as your weak pet won't take any damage.

1) Start with your low level pet. Attack once, but it will get stunned and not attack (it will still get credit though). Swap in your next pet.

If you have a strong enough pet, you can leave it out for one more turn in order to soak the big hit the enemy does next, which will make the rest of the fight easier, but this is not necessary to win. The rest of this strat assumes you swapped after the initial stun.

2) The trick pet for this part of the fight seems to be Squirrels of any sort.

As a critter, it takes reduced damage from the elemental's attacks and takes limited negative effects from the stuns. Basically, if you're slower than the enemy, when he stuns you, he spends one turn to stun you for one turn, and there's no net loss. If you're faster, you attack, he stuns you, and it wears off by next turn, meaning the enemy actually wastes a turn by stunning. I've been able to beat this trainer with several different critters due to this, but none were really super reliable until I found Squirrels.

If you have the choice, you will want a Squirrel that's faster than 334 speed, out-speeding the enemy critter. I personally have found a standard 松鼠 with 341 speed. You need your Squirrel to have Woodchipper and Nut Barrage. If you're faster than 334 speed, use Crouch.

If you're slower than 334 speed, use Adrenaline rush. I'll explain the strat for a faster pet as it's more reliable. However, I want to make 2 notes about the slower Adrenaline Rush strat. You don't need Adrenaline Rush to be active immediately in the fight, but you do need Adrenaline Rush up before the enemy uses his abilities that can stun for the reasons mentioned above (occurs 3 turns after the first time he uses the large hitting ability). Second, make sure Adrenaline Rush is active when you kill the elemental. If you wait long enough on the first Adrenaline Rush, one Rush should cover both of these

Turn 1) On the first turn, use Woodchipper.
Turn 2) On the second turn, use Crouch. Note that delaying the Crouch by one turn is on purpose; this causes the final turn of it to line up with the elemental's hard-hitting ability.
Turn 3+) Use a cycle of Nut Barrage when it's off cooldown; if not, Crouch; if not, Woodchipper.

If you've done things correctly, Nut Barrage should have at least a few turns of its dot available, your critter should be alive with any amount of health (probably pretty low), and you should have first attack on the next turn.

3) The enemy will now bring out his Critter. The goal here is you need to knock off roughly 1/3 of its health with your Squirrel, but the enemy critter's opening attack hits extremely hard. As long as you're faster than the enemy Critter, you should be able to Woodchipper (which is Beast vs. Critter), and then the damage of Woodchipper and Nut Barrage's dot will knock off a large portion of the enemy's health before it wears off. Your Squirrel dies.

4) Swap in your Mechanical pet. 暗月坦克 is a common pet that will work (Missile/Minefield/Ion Cannon), but I found 战斗机器人 to be better (Missile/Minefield/Extra Plating). They both work under the same concept, but Warbot does a good bit more damage than the Tonk does and has access to Extra Plating.

If using Warbot, use Extra Plating as often as possible. In either case, get Minefield down and then Missile the enemy Critter to death. Mechs take reduced damage from 2 out of the 3 of the Critter's attacks, so this shouldn't be too hard. The goal of this part of the fight is you need to kill the Critter with Minefield in place and without proccing your mech's survive-death ability.

5) The enemy Beast comes out. If using the Tonk, immediately Ion Cannon. If using the Warbot, Missile the first turn, Extra Plating the second (if it's available), Missile the third.

The way this places out is this. In either case, the Burrow will probably "kill" your mech, but you'll proc the survive-death ability. By the end of this turn, whether you used Ion Cannons or multiple missiles, the enemy Beast will be under 100 health. He'll Stone Rush, kill your Mech, but the damage he does to himself will kill the Beast as well. You'll still win because your level 1 pet is alive. Despite how close of a call this is, it's surprisingly repeatable.

Everyone here seem to be going on about that stupid Rapana Whelk. Well, I can tell you this: YOU DONT NEED A STUPID, UGLY SNAIL FOR THIS FIGHT! Use a rabbit or hare instead to kill the elemental, the rabbit uses dodge and burrow and is perfect for this fight.

Im so happy I found that out, getting sick of how everyone thinks a snail is the best.

UPDATED for 5.3!
Here's a guide to beat this trainer with only 2 level 25 pets, allowing you to "carry" and power level a third!

Step 1: You will need a rabbit pet with >300 Speed at level 25. The best candidates are just over 300 speed, which is fast enough, while maximising the other stats. Certain breeds of rabbits will work best (Rare breeds 3, 11, 12). If hunting for the correct breed is not your thing, you can also use a 春兔, which will have enough speed even at uncommon rarity and is very easy to acquire. If, like me you are lucky enough to have 暗月兔子, even better, as he is already rare!

Step 2: You need a mechanical with Beast attacks to finish off Sludgy. I have found the 焊接小猫 works the best. I will write this guide using this pet, although it can be applied to other mechanicals - just be sure to select at least one strong Beast type ability. Easy to acquire alternatives include 解除武装的机甲伙伴 and 安静的机械雪人.

Step 3: Have your carried pet handy - place it in the first battle slot so it starts.

Here is the setup you want to run:
Slot 1 -
Slot 2 - : 乱舞 | 躲闪 | 钻地
Slot 3 - 焊接小猫 : 爪击 | 熔流 | 潜行

Enemy Team Summary
Pandaren Earth Spirit : 水晶牢笼 | 地突刺 | 投石

Pandaren Earth Spirit

Below is the ability order that this pet uses against you.
1. 水晶牢笼
2. 地突刺
3. 投石
4. 投石
5. 投石
6. 投石
RESTART AT STEP 1

As your rabbit is a critter, it takes reduced damage from Elemental attacks AND the Crystal Prison will really do nothing to the critter as CC is less effective against critters! You want to avoid 地突刺, since it hurts. The way to do that is as follows.

Use your carry pet to soak round 1 and 2*. Switch in your rabbit (round 3) and use 钻地 for rounds 4-5 (You will avoid one 投石 and soak one the following round). Next use 乱舞 for two rounds (round 6 and then back to round 1), then use 躲闪 to avoid the 地突刺 in round 2 (and also the following 投石 on round 3!). Use 乱舞 for round 3, and then start again with 钻地 on round 4-5 (as listed above), rinsing and repeating till the Earth Spirit is dead!

*NOTE: The 地突刺 in Round 2 as listed above will deal about 500-550 damage to your carried pet, or about 350 if they are a critter (takes less damage from Elemental attacks). So, unless they are Mechanical (will resurrect after taking a killing blow) or Magic (can only take a maximum of 40% of it's health in a single hit) you will want to make sure your carried pet has enough health to withstand a hit!

Sludgy

Mechanicals take less damage from 2 out of 3 of Sludgy's attacks, and when possessing a Beast type ability, can put out a lot of damage to get him down quick.

When Sludgy comes out, switch to your mechanical - in this case 焊接小猫. The strategy with the 焊接小猫 is very straightforward - 潜行, then 爪击 till Sludgy is dead. It may well be that your mechanical dies or is very close to death by the time Sludgy goes down - that's ok.

Darnak the Tunneler

Below is the ability order that this pet uses against you.
1. 石肤术
2. 钻地 (Submerge)

Time to bring your rabbit back in to work his magic! The precise setup of abilities selected for your rabbit means that it will take ZERO damage from Darnak. Here's how.

Switch your rabbit back in as soon as Darnak comes out; he will do 石肤术 when you do so. Next use 乱舞 for one round, and when Darnak submerges, use 躲闪, which avoids not only the 钻地, but also the following 巨石奔袭 on round 4! Continue with 乱舞 for rounds 4 and 5 (round 5 is a free shot round, Darnak doesn't even do anything!) and finally 钻地 for round 6, which avoids 巨石奔袭. Now rinse and repeat your way to a win!

As one of the hardest trainers out there, this method will be a sure fire way to farm experience and bags day after day.

This is a strategy updated to allow you to defeat this trainer in 5.3 with only 2 pets, allowing you to level a third pet. A perk of this trainer is that you can level a level 1 pet against them as your low level pet will be taking no damage.

The strategy requires some very specific pets but is very repeatable. The first pet you will need is 松鼠 with a speed over 329. As this is a relatively specific requirement, I will attempt to explain why aspects of this pet are needed after the strategy explanation, and encourage you to find other combinations that meet the needs. You will want Woodchipper, Cower, and Nut Barrage.

The second pet you need is a 战斗机器人 with Missile, Minefield, and Extra Plating. A 暗月坦克 with Missile, Minefield, and Ion Cannon can work as well, but is slightly less reliable at beating the second pet due to a lack of a damage reduction.

Strategy:

Enemy Pet #1: Earth Spirit
Start with your low level pet and "attack" once. Your pet will get stunned and take no damage; this is sufficient for it to get experience.

Swap in your Squirrel. On the first turn, use Cower. From this point on, alternate between Nut Barrage if it's available and, if not, Woodchipper. When the enemy uses his zero-damage stun against you (which should be one turn after Cower comes off cooldown), use Cower again, and this will reduce the damage of his next big hit. You should kill it soon after.

Enemy Pet #2: Ooze Critter
Open with using Woodchipper against the enemy ooze. Your squirrel will probably die at this point. If not, push whatever damage you can into it.

Bring out your Warbot. Use Extra Plating on the first turn, then get a Minefield up, then Missile it to death. Use Extra Plating if it comes off cooldown, but don't use it if the enemy would die from using Missile instead that turn.

Enemy Pet #3: Beast
Use Missile on your first turn. The enemy will Burrow on the next turn; use Extra Plating if it's available, which it usually will be. Missile on turn 3 and the enemy should die (Minefield did half the work). If using the Tonk instead, use Ion Cannon when the enemy is low enough to kill, which may be turn 1.

Explanation: I'm including this for people who don't have a high-speed Squirrel, as it's somewhat of an obscure pet to find.

First of all, you want a critter that's faster than the enemy's elemental. This isn't a very high requirement. The advantage is that being a critter makes all of his attacks weak to you; being a critter makes stuns last one turn less. If you're faster than him, then his stuns do nothing to you; you hit first, then you get stunned, and it doesn't last until the next turn. This is hugely advantageous against this trainer.

The goal against the second pet is you need to take out roughly half its health with your first pet. This is where the biggest limitation in the fight comes in. The enemy opens with a very hard-hitting ability. In most fights, your critter will die from it simply because they accrue too much damage from the first part of the fight (Your Warbot does not need to worry about the enemy quite as much because his hard-hitting ability is Arcane, which does reduced damage to mechanical, and he usually has Extra Plating up.). This is where the high-speed comes in though. By being higher speed than the enemy (which has a speed of 329), you can Woodchipper one time before you die. The Woodchipper alone will do roughly 600 damage to the enemy by the time it finishes ticking, and the Nut Barrage dot will contribute a little bit too. This takes out about half the enemy's health, and gets you in range for your Warbot to win the fight with enough health to finish.

One other option would be to try and use a very, very low speed Squirrel (i.e. more health / attack) and use Adrenaline Rush instead. This means he'll take more damage against the elemental, but if you're hitting hard enough or have enough extra health, you can make up for this. You won't need to be faster than the elemental (before using Adrenaline Rush); the first turn the Squirrel comes out, it gets hit by the Elemental's other stun, and won't get hit again for several turns. So there's no necessity to be faster when it first comes out, just before the enemy begins stunning again. This may work with less restrictions on the particular Squirrel being used, and as long as Adrenaline Rush is active, you should still be able to get Woodchipper on the enemy Ooze before you die.

As for the final part of the fight, the goal is that the enemy needs to die before it can do Stone Rush. This will do upwards of 1000 damage to a Mechanical pet, and when you're trying to beat a trainer with only 2 pets, it's not feasible to expect enough health to survive this. This is why you need to pre-load the damage with Minefield; it makes you spend longer on the second pet, which isn't very dangerous to your mechanical, in exchange for shortening the duration of the third part of the fight.

Folks, this is an easy 2 pet fight, just use 2 rabbits/hares with speed 305+, both using Flurry, Dodge, and Burrow. Sludgy has speed 334 so you may want one or both of your rabbits to be 335+, though not necessary as the other two have speed 300.

By jjanchan (10,355 – 4·20·75) on 2013/04/08 (Patch 5.2.0) has the pattern.

And Enquillion (22,187 – 6·21·122) on 2013/01/02 (Patch 5.1.0) showed us the 1 pet rabbit before 5.3 came out.
The extra Stone Shot in 5.3 took that option away.

Start with your Leveling pet, and as soon as Crystal Prison is thrown, swap to one of your rabbits. If you do it right, your 2nd rabbit will take little or no damage.

If you have the safari hat and a pet pet XP boost food, a level 1 is now level 12, if not, Level 10 or close.

Malayan Quillrat pup (blue, lvl 25) - Poison Fang, Counterstrike, Powerball
Onyxian Whelpling (blue, lvl 25) - Tail Sweep, Healing Flame, Lift-Off (was pretty close tbh)
Sandy Petrel (blue, lvl 25) - Thrash, Adrenaline Rush, Lift-Off

Sludgy is a magic pet, not critter. Using beast abilities had no advantage.

I used Rapana Whelk (snail critter) for the earth spirit. With ooze touch, shell shield, and dive. Dive first to avoid the heavy hitters, then maintained shield and spammed touch. This got me through the spirit and halfway into sludgy.

For Sludgy I used a Tranquil Mechanical Yeti. The boosted mechanical damage from lighting storm help with ion cannon and fist spam got be barely through it. Ideally one might try a mechanical pandaren dragonling. They have spammable dragon damage attack that is strong to magic pets, and of course it is mechanical so it will take less damage. Anyone who has tried this might want to comment.

Lastly I used an anubisath idol for Darnak. Demolish as main attack, keep up the shell and use the shield to avoid burrow. Fight was very one sided. Finished at about half health.

Hope this helps for your 5.4+ players. :)

*Used Nexus Whelpling against Sludgy. ( Needs to be a PP Breed )

Usually I can get in one hit from my Whelpling so he shouldn't be full health.

If he isn't use Shock and Awe, then Ion Cannon

If hes full Health Throw in Zap First

This isn't always a one shot especially if you are using Eternal Strider over Purple puffer, but it's the closet thing I've found so far. Hope this helps.

Jianchan's strategy is great, except for Sludgy. I use a Scourged Whelpling to defeat that one. Shadowflame does over 700 damage and being undead Scourged Whelpling gets 1-2 extra attacks once killed.

Start with Tolai Hare Pup: Flurry, Dodge, Burrow, then Flurry til dead.
Switch to Onyxian Whelpling and Tail Sweep until you beat his second (Healing Flems if under 500hp). He brings in third. Either Healing Flame (if available) or Tail Sweep first round vs his third. Second round, Liftoff, then use common sence- rest of this battle should be a breeze now.

1. Elfin Rabbit's first step is BURROW, next DODGE, next FLURRY. Always use Burrow and Dodge on CD.

3. Darkmoon Tonk should kill Darnak in two steps - Shock and Awe, Ion Cannon.

For the Plushie achievment I had no problems with Darkmoon Rabbit (2,2,1) and Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (1,1,2).
The Alpine Hare should be a good replacement for the rabbit, since it has high speed too.

Start with Plushie to soak the first Rupture, then use the rabbit to kill the elemental (make sure you have dodge or burrow off CD for the rupture), switch to dragonling to kill the sludge and use it until dead. The rabbit finishes off the fight.

2 pet strategy I found really useful on the Thundering Pandaren Spirit NPC page (by Posh)

The Thundering Pandaren Spirit. He was always one of the hardest battles I ever had, and I struggled all the time against him, until someone very kind shared with me their secret to the fight...

Now it is easy to 2 pet battle and win it every time with a leveling pet, even a level 1 pet can survive this battle

Team:

1st slot, leveling pet, (even level 1)
2nd slot Level 25 Snail/Whelk, (any kind), suggest anything but a B/B snail, Abilities: Absorb, Acidic Goo, and Dive,
3rd slot, Level 25 Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (must have used a stone to convert him to rare), Abilities: Breath, Bombing Run, Decoy

Reasons to use Snail instead of ANY other critter such as a rabbit:
I have used many different critter pets (including S/S rabbit) till I discovered the snail. Dodging and swapping pets you loose so many unnecessary rounds.
I found the snail to be one of the fastest pet battles, because of the 25% damage debuff + dive (+damage against elemental pets.) After swapping in the snail, the spirit is typically dead in 3 to 5 rounds (Dive sometimes 1-shots him).
Then having the snail hit Sludgy before dieing with goo, lets the dragon hit 25% harder, so the slime typically only lasts 2 breaths. leaving the dragon to finish the mole very easily. It is a extremely fast battle, (except rarely when dive misses the elemental and forfeit and try again, you don't have too, the snail can still win, its just faster to forfeit)

Battle:
Round 1 vs Pandaren Earth Spirit, low level pet gets stunned, (if you use a critter, do not use an ability that has a chance to stun the Earth Spirit)
Round 2 switch to your Snail pet
Round 3 Goo him
Round 4 Dive
Round 5 If dive did not hit, forfeit, and try again, otherwise, Absorb till it is dead. (you can try to keep Goo up, but I did not find it worth maintaining)
Next round, vs Sludgy, Acidic goo him, and Absorb till dead, Use Dive if you can dive without dieing (you need over 400hp to Dive), because he will dot you before you go under, and you will die submerged, so it was better that you Absorb till dead (Try to keep goo up especially before you die)
When Sludgy kills your snail
Switch to the Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, and just use breath on him, DO NOT WORRY ABOUT HP, because your dragon only needs to have 1hp to win against Darnak the Tunneler (3rd pet).
Round 1 with Darnak the Tunneler. Use bombing run,
Round 2, use Breath (Darnak will burrow after getting hit)
Round 3, use Decoy, because the Darnak the Tunneler will have used Burrow last round
Use breath till Darnak is dead, you will die, but revive, and finish off the Darnak.

I have only had the Mechanical dragon die once before... I always win with this strategy.
Another strategy involves using rabbits instead of snails, but I just use the snail strategy because I like the extra 25% dps, and the shorter rounds that the goo attack gives you.

What a pain in the ass. I finally got him with a 拉帕纳海螺 (vs the Earth Spirit), a 奥妮克希亚的雏龙 (vs Sludgy, swapped out when he was down to 300 health), and a 战斗机器人 (against Darnak). I used the 战斗机器人 to finish off Sludgy and then spammed Missile against Darnak until Darnak killed him. Then I brought out my 奥妮克希亚的雏龙 again and finished him off. Would have been easier if I'd timed my 战斗机器人's 强化护甲 better, but it worked.

Hi all let me start by saying this one was a total nightmare!

I did everything stated in previous posts and just wasn't getting anywhere, I sat back and had a rethink
I started with silkbead snail and used dive straight off the bat as it avoids the first attack altogether. I then simply hit one acidic goo and continued with absorb until he was down. My snail was only level 23 uncommon so this technique works well
I then once my snail was dead (not long after sludgy appeared swapped to a strong rare quality lev 25 mech lil bling in my case as the attacks are strong and sludgy's hits are weak. I used extra plating first although this was not really nessecary then used make it rain first followed by smackthat.exe until sludgy died and the drudger appeared.
Continue to use your mech as long as possible and try to end on make it rain as this will continue into your next pet.
Finish drudger off with pretty much any hard hitting critter killer, I was levelling my axe beak hatchling level 23 uncommon so simply hit lift off followed by rain dance then finished him off with two pecks and it was done.

I hope this helps I had real problems with this one as most of the posts called for pets I didn't have so I pretty much tried everything lol this does work and has done since

Ended up going with Rapana Whelk and Cogblade Raptor to carry my Elekk Plushie to victory.

Used Acidic Goo then Dive and Absorb until the Spirit was dead .
Got an Acidic Goo and Dive off on Sludgy before death. Switched to Raptor, Exposed Wounds, Batter until Sludgy died.
Had a little trouble on Darnak, but Exposed Wounds, Batter and more Batter after returning to life.

I might have gotten lucky crits at the end there? But it was the only strat I could get to work with pets I currently have leveled to 25. :) Hope this is helpful to someone else.

Finally got an Elekk carry to work by using:
Rapana Whelk (2,2,1) and
Emerald Proto-Whelp (1,2,2)

Dive to avoid Rupture.
Shell Shield.
Absorb on repeat.
When you have one round left on your Dive cooldown, hit another Shield (this is for some protection against Sludgy's first attack, which is coming soon).
Dive - this should kill Pandaren Earth Spirit.
If RNG has not been on your side, just hit another Absorb or two.

When Sludgy comes out, Dive.
Absorb a couple of times until your Shield's about to run out, then renew it (always make sure the Shield is up).
Get in another Dive if you can.

When Rapana Whelk dies, bring out EPW.
Now it's just a patient game of Emerald Presence, Emerald Dream, and Breath.
You want to use Dream whenever you can, just make sure you have enough Presence rounds to cover your nap.
You will be tempted to use the dragon racial when it comes up, but don't even bother. Keep on the Dream and Presence routine.

Took me three tries, but it was heaps more consistent that the other strats I tried from here.

I used: Rapana Whelk, Lil' Tarecgosa and Iron Starlette. Iron Starlette one shotted Darnak after Wind Up>Supercharge>Wind Up.

i just defeated him using
Gold Beetle
Nordrassil Wisp
Iron Starlette
by letting off Meteor at the beginning with gold beetle, by the time it came to his final pet it came crashing down with pet at full health.
Wisp helped to blind, then double attack when blinded, then attack back pets.
Iron Starlette for 2nd pet, wind up, 125%, second wind up 1800.

For the payers, who like to battle pets, but don't have all the " cool" pets jet.

I did it with Silkbead snail, Infinite Whelpling and Crystal Spider.

How to win from the pandaran earth spirit:
1. When you start, start with dive.
2. Acidic Goo
3. Ooze Touch
keep using Ooze touch until you win.

This guy is a real pain in the backside. After much trial and error I found a team that worked great;

Malayan Quillrat Pup - Poison Fang, ?, Powerball

Bronze Whelpling - Tail Sweep, Crystal Prison, Lift Off

Son of Sethe - Absorb, Touch of the Animus, Lift Off

FIRST: The Quillrat Pup is great against the Earth Spirit as it is immune to Crystal Prison.

1. First use Poison Fang.
2. Repeat Powerball until Earth Spirit is dead.

I finished with the Pup still at 300 health.

SECOND:

1. Use Quillrat's Poison Fang on Sludgy.
2. Sludgy's next attack will kill the Pup. Switch to Bronze Whelpling.
3. Use Tail Sweep, then Crystal Prison. Sludgy will switch out to Darnak.
4. Use Tail Sweep x2 then Lift Off followed by Crystal Prison again. Darnak will switch out with Sludgy.
5. Use Tail Sweep until Lift Off cooldown resets.
6. Use Lift Off. Sludgy will die and Darnak comes in.
7. Repeat step 4. This should finish of Darnak.

I never even needed to use Son of Sethe in the fight, but he is there as back up in case your Bronze Whelpling dies.

Round 07: 致盲剧毒
Round 08: 穿刺创伤
Round 09: 毒牙---------- 紫红泰斑蛇 or 致死小蝰蛇 die, choose 挖洞蛛
Round 10: 毒烟
Round 11: 毒烟---------- 泥团 dies
Round 12: 毒烟
Round 13: 铁钻冲锋
Round 14: 毒烟
Round 15: 毒烟
Round 16: 自爆 end
