CRITTER TEAM Strategy

All credit goes to my wife for figuring this out.

This will not work if Gnasher gets a critical attack off on you.... so it may take a few attempts.

Little Fawn (1,2,2)
Rapana Whelk (x,1,2)
Gleamhoof Fawn *any fawn with headbutt / hoof should work* (1,2,2)

Turn 1 Natures Ward
Turn 2 Headbutt
Turn3-5ish Hoof til dead
Bring in Rapana Whelk
Cast Acidic Goo
Cast Headbutt
Bring in Last Critter/Fawn
Cast Headbutt
Cast Hoof

As long as you don't get unlucky, this should get you a kill.

Mangle > Thrash until Yeti dies > Bring out Runt.

The idea was to Whirlpool + Snap with the crab until it's UD round, then Rot and use the Kid for bonus damage vs UD, but it appears the Rot family switch didn't work. Nonetheless, I killed it using that strat even without the bonus damage (killing it during Ghastly Kid's UD round).

I used the one outlined in another comment (2x Fawn, Rapana Whelk, all with Headbutt) and won with some RNG.

Headbutt > Ethereal > Smash until Maul is off CD, then Ethereal and repeat Smash.
When Trunks dies, bring out Twilight Fiendling and pop up dots > spam Creepy Chomp (maintain dots) until it dies.
If you need to use Globule, put up dots and spam Acid Touch until Gnasher dies.

Critter team.

Alpine Chipmunk (2, 1, 2) + any bandicoon (1, ?, ?) + backup pet

Turn 1 - Adrenaline Rush
Turn 2 - Woodchipper
Turn 3 - Stampede (Alpine Chipmunk dies)
Swap in Bandicoon (or Auburn Ringtail, Bandicoon Kit, etc.)
Turn 4 - Bite
Turn 5 - Bite
Win.

If you are unlucky with crits against you, a backup pet should be able to finish it off.

My Bilescourge was my leveling pet at 23, rare and 325 power so assume P/P breed.

You HAVE to avoid getting hit by Maul which Gnasher uses on CD after using Greater Apocalypse in the first round. So pets with Dodge, Burrow or other similar mechanics are good. Greater Apocalypse doesn't really matter, I don't think. There were like 10 rounds left when Gnasher finally died.

I started off with Dodging, Pup is slower so got hit by Apocalypse but dodged the Maul in round 2. Then just made sure to have a dodge or burrow ready for Maul.

I did this twice with this strategy.

Alpine Foxling - Dazzling Dance
Ash Spiderling - Brittle Webbing, Spiderling Swarm
Zandalari Kneebiter - Black Claw, Hunting Party

Fox to start, Dazzling dance, swap to your spider.
Brittle webbing, Spiderling swarm and then your spider dies.
Black claw, hunting Party and then you win.

Critter Team-

I did this with 2 (S/S Breed) Rabbits and Egbert

Each Rabbit should have Flurry/Dodge/Stampede

First Rabbit- Flurry>Dodge>Stampede>Flurry if you can (Dodge when mail is up)
Second Rabbit> Stampede
Egbert- Bite>Bite

Super easy peasy just remember to dodge the mauls if you can. :)

The Amberbarb Wasp is really good against Gnasher, especially if you apply an effect like Exposed Wounds first. It's strong against all Gnasher's direct damage types and inflicts lots of Beast-type damage.

Here's my strategy for 飞羽狂风

Use any 3 flying pets with barbed stinger and puncture wound. Use barbed stinger until target is poisoned, then use puncture wound. Repeat until Gnasher dies.

Two of my pets were level 24 and this strategy worked the second time for me, but it seems to be quite RNG based.

For Critical Critters I used the following (Tried several times and this worked every time exactly as listed). I listed the breeds although I'm not sure they all have variables (and tbh it likely doesn't matter much since he really blows the doors off critters).

Beetle (Guardian) - X/1/1
Dust Bunny (Ninja) - X/X/1 (Although pretty much anything with beast damage can finish him off since he's only at about 160 health at this point)
Perky Pug (Power and Speed) - 1/X/X

Round by round:
1- Hiss (Greater Apoc)
2 - Swarm (Maul)
3 - Swarm (Rip)
Load Perky Pug
4 - Bite (Rip)
5 - Bite (Rip)
6 - Dies (Maul)
Load Bunny
7 - Burrow (Rip)
8 - Burrow hits. Congrats on the win.

Spiders with brittle webbing and spiderling swarm work well for 野兽奔腾. I didn't even have to use my third one.

Strategy: Start with poison spit. Keep brittle webbin up. Use spiderling swarm on cooldown/when you bring in the next pet (assuming Gnasher is still webbed). Gnasher died Round 7 for me and I never brought in my third spider.

For 小动物有大能耐, I used:

Cockroach (1,1,1)
Egbert (1,1,1) - any pet with bite should work. Mine had 276 speed, so the boost from hiss made him faster than Gnasher.
Borean Marmot (1,1,2) - any pet with burrow and an ability comparable to chomp (213-396 damage) may work

Swarm continues.* Cockroach dies, bring in Egbert (or another pet with Bite)

I tested this strategy twice - the first time, swarm got through three rounds, the second time it only got through two. Both times, the fight ended with burrow and then one chomp from Borean Marmot after Egbert died.

Critter team!

I used 3 rabbits with speed higher than 328. With dodge and burrow. Use dodge, flurry, burrow, flurry until a rabbit dies, and hen another comes in, dodge, flurry, burrow, flurry and another one.

I used specifically, Dust bunny, Snowshoe Hare and Noblegarden bunny. But any rabbit faster than 328 (so at least 329 speed) will do.

The point of this strategy is that exposed wounds add bonus damage to woodchipper bleed and then maul uses woodchipper

For 元素奇兵, I used the following lineup. I tried a couple of times until I found a team with common pets, who are still obtainable. If you don't have very bad RNG luck, you'll succeed with your first try.

With adder, used burrow as my opening and used bite. I burned up the first two pets and brought Gnasher down to low health. Utilized devour and Gnasher was dead. Good luck!

Undead Strategy

-First you take the blighted squirrel and woodchipper until the undead round
-Then in the undead round, you use stampede
-Squirrel Dies, bring in Scraps

-Gnasher is usually dead

I had mister bigglesworth with claw for backup but didn't need him.

Some of these combos are frustrating on these Legion pet battles when people use rare or limited edition pets (looking at you goddam gulp frog!)

But for fierce fliers, easy team and easy common pet.

Good old dragonbone hatchling!

thrash, adrenaline rush and lift off when gnasher is about to maul. Almost solo'd it

I used fledgling nether ray with bite to finish it off. Never needed third pet.

Elemental Escalation - Slight RnG

This is for those of you who do not have most of the pets listed above. I pulled from some of them and found something that got me through.

Core Hound Pup 2/2/2
Fetid Waveling 2/2/x
Pandaren Water Spirit 1/2/1

Start off with Burrow into 2 Thrash(we need at least 1-2 of these to hit twice or crit). Dodge and Thrash again. Try to Burrow, you will die. Bring in the Waveling. Poison Spit into a Corrosion, you normally die here, if not Poison Spit again. Water Spirit - Whirlpool into a Water Jet. Then Dive. Depending on how things went down, the Whirlpool can kill him, or the Dive will.

THese might take a couple tries, it's not the best approach. But this is what I had to work with considering I did not have the above pets. Good Luck. Let me know if I need to change anything.

Spent a few hours working on this guy with all the different families for Family Fighter. I'll put my notes here.

Mech:

Lil XT (2/2/1) is effective here as the guy will bring his new toy down to about 50% before biting. A strong clean-up mech (like Pocket Reaver) and a third mech is a good way to get his tick for Mechanical Melee down.

Turn One: Drop Boombot.
Two: Thrash
Three: Pop Heartbroken. The bleed from the Rip will trigger the damage increase effect.
Four: Use Thrash. Gnasher will hit first, kill you, but the Mech passive will trigger and bring you back. Boombot and Thrash will each hit for double-damage.

After that, I just Thrashed with Reaver. I had Lil' Bling in the wings, but I never had to use him.

Dragon:

Two pet strat:

- Nether Faerie Dragon: 2/2/1
- Lanticore Spawnling: 1/2/1

Turn One: Moonfire
Turn Two: Arcane Blast
Turn Three: Life Exchange (You can delay this another turn if you think that your NFD can survive another Rip plus bleed damage. Remember that even with an S/S, Gnasher will attack first.)

Spam Arcane Blast until NFD dies.

Swap in Lanticore Spawnling and Triple Snap until Gnasher is dead.

Humanoid

Lil' Bad Wolf did most of the work for me. Open with Dodge to avoid the first Maul, Claw until Wolf dies. I then brought in Lil Executus who Jabbed until Gnasher was at >25% and then Impaled. My third was Corefire Imp with Rush, but I didn't need him.

Elemental

This one felt like cheating. Core Hound Pup, Molten Corgi, and the Cinder Kitten are basically beasts in all but name. Opened with Core Hound, start with Dodge, Thrash until Maul has 1 turn left and Burrow. Thrash until dead.

Switch to the Corgi and Superbark and Bark until one of you dies. If it's Corgi, you should only have to Claw once or twice to finish Gnasher off.

Critter

Rough one. I used the Gleamhoof/Rapana Whelk strat suggested elsewhere here. Start with Nature's Ward, Headbutt, then Hoof until dead. Whelk: Acidic Goo and then Headbutt. You won't survive past that (and if RNGesus hates you, you can be one-shot. Reset the fight then.) I didn't have a third doe, so I used my S/S Dust Bunny to finish. It's one of the few pets I've found that, even as an S/S breed, will be able to go faster than Gnasher. Start with Burrow, Flurry until its Maul comes off CD, then Dodge it and go back to Flurrying.

Undead Strat
I used Spectral Spinner (1,2,2), Fossilized Hatchling (1,x,x), and Giant Bone Spider (2,1,x)
Start with Spinner. Blinding Poison, then Spectral Strike. Bone Bite x3. Blinding Poison, Spectral Strike. Spinner dies.
Bring in the Hatchling. Claw till Hatchling dies.
Bring in Spider. Poison Spit. Gnasher should die here.

He starts out with a hard hitting attack so I used Xu-Fu:
1. prowl (increases damage by 150% for 2 rounds)
2. feed (heals for 100% of damage dealt)
3. spirit claws until dead

alpine foxling also does well with:
1. leap (100% speed and 210 beast damage)
2. howl (increases damage by 100% for 2 rounds)
3. Bite until dead

I screwed around with a lot of different combos until I accidentally led with a Nexus Whelping. It was a 2 hit down scenario. I hit with arcane storm just for giggles, then mana surge. First hit took down 500+ second killed. Hope this helps!

Start with Ominous Flame, use Forboding Curse > Scorched Earth > Spiritfire Bolt > Forboding Curse, bring in Electrified Razortooth, use Rip > Blood in the Water, I died before I could use Devour but that would have been next, bring in Molten Corgi and use Superbark, Gnasher should die at this point. I didn't have Corehound Pup or I would have used him as mentioned in other strats, but this worked really well for me.

Easily took Gnasher out with an all Flying team.
Waterfly - 1/2/1
Gilnean Raven - 1/2/1
Teroclaw Hatchling(any other flyer and or leveling pet) - 2/1/2

Led with Waterfly and used Barbed Stinger until Gnasher was poisoned then I used Puncture Wound. Repeat until Waterfly dies.
Gilnean Raven finished him with one use of Call Darkness -> Nocturnal Strike followed by a Peck.
Never used my Teroclaw Hatchling so the 3rd pet can pretty much be anything as Gnasher has no Team-wide abilities.

After struggling a bit, I 2-pet it easily w/Felspider + Anubisath Idol in 12 rounds.

The key here is counting off Maul which will one shot a number of pets. It has a 4 round CD. So every 4 turns starting on turn 2. So 2,6, etc.

Felspider will do about 1000+ dmg off the bat then die after a few rounds. Open with Poison Fang, then Puncture Wound, Brittle Webbing. Felspider will probably die then.

With Anubisath Idol, use deflection on the rounds maul pops up (2,6, 10, etc) and sandstorm and Crush.

You probably want a backup pet like Mechanical Axebeak with Decoy or something otherwise Maul will one-shot you.

The leveling strategy with the Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling didn't work for me. Try instead: put your level pet up first, "pass", then switch to Zandalari Anklerender. My level 25 P/P Anklerender could not finish the job, unless I used it right off the bat, without any level pet. I had to use a second one to finish off.

Critical Critters
The headbutt seemed to work really well from testing a few of the suggested teams but my Crispin was only level 1 and I had no Pygmy Cow.
The strategy appeared to be get in some big hits with good damage against Critters and some ticking damage over time.
Obviously some RNG like all the other battles in Legion.

All fairly easy to obtain, I used:-

Rapana Whelk 112
Rusty Snail 112
Perky Pug 112 (Achievement Looking for Multitudes)

1. Acidic Goo
2. Headbutt
3. Ooze Touch
4. Headbutt
5. Acidic Goo
6. Ooze Touch

Elemental Escalation

Same as the above picking pets with good damage against critters made a big difference.
Health and Power probably more important too get more hits in before being killed, my middle pet only go one hit.

For Mechanical I used Clockwork Gnome with Metal fist and build turret, and two Iron Starlette with the usual Windup and Supercharge strat.

Just build turret and metal fist when you have to, then windup, supercharge, windup with both Ironstarlettes.

For 小动物有大能耐, I used Darkmoon Hatchling (Screech + Flock) and Fire Beetle (Scorched Earth, Flank, Hiss). Did not need a third pet, but I kept a bunny on that slot.

For 水族总动员, I used Gahz'rooki (Bite, Whirlpool), Elusive Skimmer (Stampede) and Elusive Skimmer (Screech, Dive, Gnaw). Make sure you use whirlpool last as Gahz'rooki, so it triggers when stampede debuff is on.

Critical Critters
I tried rabbits (s/s), bandicoons, and rats. None of them worked for me. After about an hour of frustration, I finally decided to wing it. This is what I came up with. *This strategy is NOT flawless. It depends on RNG in a couple of spots, but it was enough to get the job done for Critical Critters.*

Anxious Nibbler (H/S; 1/2/2)
Bush Chicken (P/B; 1/2/1)
Aqir Hivespawn (2/1/1) (or any other critter with thrash...bloodlouse larva may improve win rate with his other beast abilities, but I did not test this theory)

Round 1: Primal cry (to make your team faster than Gnasher)
Round 2: Feast (if this misses, restart fight)
Round 3: Lick (Nibbler dies; bring in Chicken)
Round 4: Headbutt
Round 5: Rake
Round 6: Flock (Chicken dies) *Gnasher needs to have 700-800 HP for strat to succeed. If he has more then headbutt did not hit hard enough. Restart fight.*
Round 7: Thrash (it's better if one of your thrashes hits twice)
Round 8: Thrash

You may need to thrash again at the end, if you can. I also fiddled around with Smoke Bomb and Locust Swarm, but they didn't seem to improve my results. Good luck!
