Foreboding Curse is quite a decent move - if you switch into a pet with a move such as Quills, Thrash, Alpha Strike etc, you'll not only out-speed your opponent, you'll deal extra damage on each hit. This ability only comes on Ominous Flame, where it has weak synergy with Conflagrate on a burning target; although you have to choose between Conflagrate and Foreboding Curse, meaning this pet cannot both apply burning and the foreboding curse for brutal double-hitting Conflagrates.

On the other hand, Nimbus is an interesting move, and as a support pet, Ominous flame could have potential by applying Nimbus, Foreboding Curse, and switching to a pet with a low-accuracy, multi-hit move.

Sometimes this spell acts weird on my Teroclaw Hatchling - he's loosing speed bonus from flying family.

The description says "Adds 61 damage to every attack against the target and reduces the target's speed by 25%." but I'm not seeing the speed reduction. Is that normal?
