Now, let's take a look at all the epic gears in Cata. it's still better than any of the epics in Cata!

So, at level 80, this is easily the best in slot item until level 85.

it would sell for a lot in AH but, if you're a level 80 twink, you should collect all the ilvl 409 items that you can use, see Link.

The top DPS of my 80 warlock with only one 409 piece when I started to run Wotlk heroics goes up to 10k (avg 8k), which is better than my 85 mage when he started to run MoP normals.

灼风护腕 annihilates its closest competition by 117 ilvls at level 80. This item will easily last throughout Cata content until you can don a pair of 风绒护腕 at level 85. This item allows for MoP enchants, so I would recommend 'this enchant.' For those who happen to have Blacksmithing as a profession, these can also be socketed with an epic Cata gem as well. The AH will be your best bet for finding a pair of these as they are on par with epic BoE drop rates.

Started farming these 灼风护腕 a while ago for 班的破门大剑 . Got the bracers on 616 kill. Currently sells for 2.5-3k on Skullcrusher. Killing Wayward Ancestor is probably the best way of farming the bracers since they respawn pretty quick and walk around in packs of 2-4.

Still farming 班的破门大剑 , am currently on killcount: 1367 ( same old 灼风护腕 )

I just got this from Sha? Like damn we have a bug that gives a high drop chance for the mount to evokers, a 'fix' and now this &*!@ is dropping instead?
