When used, you do your race's /dance, your hands glow with fire as if you were casting a fire spell and your character gets a slight orange glow.

You can use these and the Sandals of Summer at the same time for some hot fiery dancing action!

Something worth trying, which worked for me. If you use it and start dancing, then use your hearth stone right after, you channel the spell while still dancing and with hands lit up with flame and the green HS spell effect.

bc i almost freaked out: it should be noted you must put this item in your action bar and click on it while dancing. dont just throw it on and think you can dance with fire coming out your hands bc youll just look like a fool dancing in a dress...

The female undead dance finally looks decent with the addition of this item.
All they needed to add were glowstick MH/OH items, but fiery hands will work.

Easily obtainable within a week or two if you visit fires to honor, them or desecrate them, do torch tossing and catching/Zoram Strand/ and incesnse for the Scorchlings in the first day, (in order to not gain more Blossoms), and the dailies every day, along with several other items. I personally like it a lot on my human paladin. It'd probably look best with a Brown Linen Shirt, on a Blood Elf with red or white hair.

You can cast while dancing after clicking the vestments. Adds a nice effect when you cast/cancel Hearth while dancing.

This is a good item to practice using macros.

Try the following:
/equip Vestment of Summer
/equip Mantle of the Fire Festival
/equip Sandals of Summer
/use Vestment of Summer
/use Sandals of Summer

With your first click of the macro, you will equip all 3 items, and with your second click, you will use the Vestment and the Sandals. Feel free to play around with it, add other items you think would like nice, maybe the Crown, other fashionable items, etc.

It's an easy-to-use macro if you've never had practice with them before. You can then create a second macro to put your original gear back on. Enjoy!

Also, using these allows you to cast while dancing.

You keep both the fire and the casts glow around your hands, and continue the dancing animation.

It seems that as of patch 2.4.3, this dress's on use effects no longer persist when you try casting. I have tried the spell casting, mounting, hearthing, etc, and they all now end the spark effect of the dress and go to their normal effects :(

I was extremely disappointed because I enjoyed using the dress then turning into a snowman with the Winter Veil Disguise Kit for a fun effect. It still works when you kiss Mojo to turn into a sparking frog for a few seconds, but it's not quite as awesome as the snowman... /cry.

I don't see why they had to change it. It's not like not being able to see casting animation is a problem, even in pvp, as long as you can figure out to watch their cast bar :/

Note that recently blizzard added the ability to sell back any item for 100% of its original value for up to two hours if you bought something.

You CANNOT sell back this item. ~~It appears only can be sold back within two hours. Not sure about the boots since I had them since last year.~~ None of the items can be sold back.

Quick question - does the flame effect from this (and/or the boots) stack with the flame effect from Fiery Seduction from the Brazier?

Edit: Tested it myself, as I read earlier that the fiery hands work for shapeshifted druids - and yes, the effects do stack, though it's a very small graphical change. The way you can tell is by simply listening - your character will have the fiery appearance of the draenei, but will have the burning sound effect the vestments give. As for the graphical change, it is there, but it's difficult to tell.

Theres a little glitch with this outfit, if you try to unseath a weapon while using this item your arms will fling about to different dance sequences, (tested on my blood elf who used it and her left arm was spinning around as the other 1 was doing the cat scratch thing)

An interesting little "bug" I've discovered. A lot of people wish they could dance with their weapons out (okay I always did anyway), and while normally using /dance or using these robes would sheathe your weapons instantly as you started to dance, rogues can use Fan of Knives (which forces your weapons into your hands) then quickly use the robes and start dancing, and your weapons will stay in your hands as you dance. I confirmed it with some friends of mine. It might take one or two tries, you basically have to use the robes while you're still spinning from the Fan of Knives.

As of 2016 (6.2.3) these items (all of the set) can be refunded for the full price in 燃烧之花.

I do not know when this change occurred, because there are no comments regarding this.

As of this writing (6-21-17) Vestment of Summer are now "cosmetic" and able to be transmogged.

*Note* Today is also the first day of the Fire Festival.

~~Sadly, it seems the holiday items such as these will only be "moggable" during their respective holiday events.~~

Confirmed. The event is now over.
This item and all related holiday items were not only removed from my wardrobe once the event was over, they were removed from my active mog.

Sadly, that means no transmogrifying heirlooms to enjoy this mog year round)

As of 2019 - You can now purchase all four required pieces of the Midsummer Set from Midsummer Merchant or Midsummer Supplier for Achievement Burning Hot Pole Dance and refund your Burning Blossom currency once your Achievement is complete.
