When used, a small fire appears at your feet, making you look as if you're standing in a fire. Similar to the Vestment of Summer, you can use them and do other actions, as long as they don't involve moving (you can talk, cast, do any emote, etc)

You can use these and the Vestment of Summer, for some hot fiery dancing action!

I recently discovered that you can use these and then use Winter Veil Disguise Kit to become a burning snowman. This trick also works with Vestment of Summer.

This is a good item to practice using macros.

Try the following:
/equip Vestment of Summer
/equip Mantle of the Fire Festival
/equip Sandals of Summer
/use Vestment of Summer
/use Sandals of Summer

With your first click of the macro, you will equip all 3 items, and with your second click, you will use the Vestment and the Sandals. Feel free to play around with it, add other items you think would like nice, maybe the Crown, other fashionable items, etc.

It's an easy-to-use macro if you've never had practice with them before. You can then create a second macro to put your original gear back on. Enjoy!

Put your costume in the bottom 4 slots of your Backpack it will switch out what you're wearing for the summer stuff (with the left button)
The right button uses the sandals, holding shift and pressing the right button uses both.
Left click equips what you had on before.

Unless it's a glitch on my part these sandals do not appear to display at all when equipped on a female Draenei. It just appears as if you have no shoes equipped at all.

As of 2016 (6.2.3) these items (all of the set) can be refunded for the full price in 燃烧之花.

I do not know when this change occurred, because there are no comments regarding this.

As of this writing (6-21-17) Sandals of Summer are now "cosmetic" and able to be transmogged.

*Note* Today is also the first day of the Fire Festival.

Sadly, it seems the holiday items such as these will only be "moggable" during their respective holiday events.

Confirmed. The event is now over.
This item and all related holiday items were not only removed from my wardrobe once the event was over, they were removed from my active mog.

Sadly, that means no transmogrifying heirlooms to enjoy this mog year round)

As of 2019 - You can now purchase all four required pieces of the Midsummer Set from Midsummer Merchant or Midsummer Supplier for Achievement Burning Hot Pole Dance and refund your Burning Blossom currency once your Achievement is complete.

Be careful when buying these. I was mistaken when i bought this since it didn't have "Already known" tag on it. I thought it recently became a cosmetic item and I will learn it like the Dragonflight cosmetic items, but instead I equipped it. 200 Burning blossom wasted. :P
