At 30 reagent slots for 新兵材料包 it might actually be easier to grab Dragonflight's 32 reagent slot 简单缝制的材料包 (an upgrade!) which are dirt cheap (going for 10g to 50g on US realms) than farming the currency .

During the War Within Pre-patch, this item costs 2,000x 残忆.

As others have stated, there are options available in the Auction House for very cheap (<50g).
With how expensive other items are such as the mounts (20,000x 残忆 each), it's probably better off paying gold for bags.
This is true even if you are a new player, farming enough gold for a whole character and bank's worth would take less than 15 minutes just by doing world quests with your boosted character.

Other bags can be placed in the Warband Bank even if they have a refund timer, but this bag cannot be stored there.
