I don't know if this weapon (or the other 2-handers) can drop for a warlock (I doubt they can), but they can be traded, if the person it dropped for has a weapon with higher (or equal) ilvl in their bags. I don't think artifact weapons count. But timewalking weapons do, either from a drop or vendor. So if you have a paladin, warrior, or death knight buddy, make sure they have a 800+ weapon, and queue for the scenario together.

Don't think Warrior can get it. Unless I was lucky/unlucky because I got all the other weapons once each and then they stated repeating.
Edit: Actually there is a video on youtube of a warrior looting it so yeah, RNG small chance I guess.

This item is one of the drops off a final boss of a Legion Assault on the Broken Isles.

The bosses appear to share the same loot table.

WEAPON DROPS
Your spec doesn't appear to matter. As long as your class can equip the weapon, you have a LOW chance of receiving it.
Some of these weapons may have been a reward from the pre-Legion invasions on Azeroth?

GEAR DROPS (TRANSMOG APPEARANCE)
Pieces of the following sets have a chance to drop from the final Legion assault boss.
These pieces can also drop from individual invasion world quests.

Anyone know if these items will be removed from the game at some point?

Been trying to get Face of Ruin since the invasions started and have had no luck.

Finally got this on an alt, a ret paladin I leveled up just to get more chances at getting Face of Ruin :)

Got this today as of 12/15/2017 from the High Mountain Invasion as a Fury warrior with Arms set for loot.

Still drops in BFA, but super rare. You will have to farm for a while to get this.

Interestingly enough, there is no alternative anywhere which has the same transmog at the time of writing.

Can drop from the following Legion invasion bosses, located in one of the four leveling zones of the Broken Isles (瓦尔莎拉, 阿苏纳, 至高岭 and 风暴峡湾):

You can access these bosses by completing at least four invasion World Quests, finishing the follow-up quest, which leads to the small 3-player scenario, which ends with one of these bosses. The invasions are not always up, but they are on a rotation, which can be found on websites such as this one.

Rarity addon import string for ALL 13 weapon appearances from these bosses (will only track attempts on weapons you can loot and equip):

Does anyone know why I can't search for these weapons in the game? I use the appearance tab and tye the names in to see if I've collected them, but they do not show up even as an uncollected appearance. Even the mace Face of Ruin with the red color doesn't show up, but the green version Demonic Bone-Crusher shows up as uncollected for me.
