It exist, as Ive seen people with it. But ive just rerolled to play on a RP server. And I must say, ive never found the recipe anywhere. Seems like its new yes.

I am an avid collector of crafting recipes. For the longest time, I've needed only a very few to complete my collection, and this was amongst them.

I check the AH regularly. For over two years, I've scanned the AH at least once a day. Just yesterday, after such a long time, I finally acquired this plan for five gold and change.

It's rare. Really, really rare.

The item itself has few alternatives at the level and is actually quite worthwhile.

I've been looking for this puppy for quite some time since trying to get all the Blacksmithing recipes. Checked out the AH one day and saw it for up for an obscene amount (6000g).

Thinking that this would probably be my first and last chance to get it (hopefully it won't be removed in Cataclysm but I didn't want to take the chance) I pooled all my alts money and bought it.

Two days later I checked out the AH again and another one was up for sale. For a bid. A 7g bid. So these are now worth 3003g 50s on my server. Cry.

This is the Blacksmith equivallent of Star Belt from tailoring, just as rare and I've yet to see it on the AH - checking it almost every day for over 3 years

It took me about a year of religiously searching the AH every single day to find these plans. When one appeared for 750g, I bought it instantly. The plans now sit in my bank, should I ever come across another (but I'm not counting on it).

For plan collectors like myself, this is worth several thousand gold, not the measly 200g stated at the top of the page. Don't let it go cheap! If you find these plans, you are a very lucky individual.

This does indeed drop from lesser darkmoon prizes. Got one today, 10/2/11 about 11pm eastern. This is the 3rd rare recipe I've gotten from turn-ins for lesser prizes in the past 2 darkmoon faires. Got lesser block, and steel weapon chain last month. I average about 600 ticket turn-ins before i get a rare recipe. For all 3 super rare recipes, about 2000 tickets worth of turn-ins within 2 darkmoon faire events. ( using dense grinding stones for tickets ). Still haven't gotten Star Belt pattern>tailoring yet.

灼热金剑 is a very rare world drop.
If you do aquire it, I suggest using it yourself, or selling it at high price. Many sell it for a small amount because they do not realize what they actually found, and because it looks weak. But in actual fact one would be lucky to ever even see this plan once. This may vary from server to server, depending on population.

According to Undermine Journal this has an average sell price of 11k or so. Today I got super lucky and found one on the AH for 19g. The down side? I spent over 2 years checking the AH at least once a day for it (and other world drop patterns).

So don't despair, it can still happen. Like with most world drop patterns you just have to pray that the stars align and:

1) It drops for someone, somewhere.
2) They notice it has dropped and bother to loot it.
3) They don't check the AH price.
4) They decide to AH it anyway rather than just vendor it.
5) You see it before any other pattern collectors/people scanning the AH for obscure money makers.

I actually looted this from one of the trunks/chests thingys fishing from a node whilst trying to complete the 'Scavenger' achievement yesterday. Didn't take much notice as to where exactly as I didn't realise how rare this actually was.

Question is, do I sell the recipe for a hefty sum or learn it and sell a hefty amount of daggers?

I Purchased off AH for 8k, I have played off and on for a very long time, and have only seen this on AH 3 times. the last 2 times were in the same month as each other,

I purchased this as it is near impossible to farm, 8k isn't much for these plans, I would of paid 20k, Have already made my gold back by crafting it and selling.

I suggest if you see it on AH and think "hmmm that's pretty expensive" you disregard your brain and buy it anyway. like many have said your even lucky to see it on the AH.

so it's the day of the Trading Post, after the extra extended maintenance, and i'm running mythic Siege of Org for the freaking Tusks that won't drop and Nazgrim decided to drop this pattern amongst his other, regular loot. I don't know if this is patch shenanigans or if a 'classic' world drop blacksmithing pattern could always drop in xpac dungeons but i've never seen it happen. regardless, it's a nice consolation prize for the non-existant shoulders lol. (i do have a screenshot for proof but not sure if wowhead would take it)

Picked these plans out of a pile of corpses I burned down in Khaz'Goroth's Seat 2 days ago. Pulled a large group of Earthen Stonecarvers, Earthen Stonebreakers, and Stone Stewards into the room, roasted them with Rain of Fire, and looted this very rare Plan for my Blacksmith. None of them listed as dropping it, but lends proof that any appropriate level mob may generate it as a World Drop. Nice to get something rare on another interminable run through Uldaman. Over 24,000 dead Troggs and STILL no Star Belt Pattern. Occasional treasures like this keep me going back for that final elusive scroll.
