On the Beta, this item is found in Talador. It is jutting out of the ground in the burning patch next to the path to Shadowmoon Valley. Unlike the Bind on Account weapons found in Mists of Pandaria, this item is visible and lootable by everyone once. Don't let the lack of stats fool you, that's easily a monstrous weapon for its level.

The model viewer does this weapon no justice. The base of the crossguard (tusk guard?) has flames lightly covering the base of the blade, and the orange bits of the blade itself give off a faint wavy effect. Really awesome weapon for transmog purposes.

It's put under the 2 hand file but listed as a 1 hander.

It's a great looking sword and pretty easy to find. Right now on beta, it's held and sheathed as a 1h, but swung as a 2h.

Confirmed: Blazegrease Greatsword has a chance to be Epic (ilvl 573)

Found this purple beauty sticking out of the ground, clicked it just thinking it was a bonus objective. Nice find, however I was on my druid. 68g in my pocket, I'll take it :)

Its speed is unusual for a 2H weapon, it's the 10th fastest 2H sword in game.

Edit: Went and auto attacked a dummy for 4/5 minutes and got 3 procs. Either that's terrible luck, or this thing has a very low proc rate.

Enchanters beware: As on 27 November, if you d/e this item, you get a Sha Crystal instead of Draenor mats. I hope that sort of thing isn't affected by your enchanting level; my enchanter has skill level 625.

Had it proc on my DK off of auto attacks, melee attacks like Death Strike, but also off of Icy Touch and Blood Boil.

Also, can confirm the 30k crit procs.

EDIT: This seems to proc off of basically anything that is targeted. Just now I had it proc off of Outbreak(!).

If you closed the loot window without looting it due to lack of space or other reasons, don't panic like I did. The Charred Sword object will disappear forever but you will receive the item in your mailbox shortly after.

Found this in Talador as a level 94 warrior. Nice weapon to have so early. Will help with questing a lot. iLvl 563 vs my previous iLvl 519 mace. As a fury warrior that helps tremendously.

Info wise I'm a hunter, so I don't use this-but does anyone else see a little Rathalos to this thing? The red-black and blue fire thing reminds me of a Monster Hunter monster.
