The trainer is in the dwarven stronghold in the Hinterlands, just below Aerie Peak, two levels down. He also trains Rugged Armor Kit and Rugged Leather (converted from Thick Leather).

Allianse dont got the same Leatherworking trainer as the horde. So please say if you ar allianse or horde

anyone who is 300 leatherworking already has this, unless they've been spending a lot of money buying cured hides from AH or inherited stacks of them from friends and guildies. this can be learned at 250 LW skill, and you don't need to to have picked a specialization yet (dragonscale, elemental, or tribal) to learn it. The horde trainer is in camp mojace in feralas. The specialization trainer DOES NOT TEACH THIS, nor does s/he teach rugged armor kit. I hope this has been instructive and helpful

so to speak there are no NPC for the horde that trains cured rugged hide? then how is the horde players supposed to do to make one?

bought Salt Shaker-bought deeprock salt and clicked on shaker-1 refined deeprock salt---and can make only 1 every 3 days-only requires lvl 250 LW

sorry-and it was trained at lvl 250 from Lw Trainer in Camp Mojache--its at the first of list under Trade Goods-some train so fast on items they did'nt know when they got it-gl

On my server each one goes for 1g. Just no demand whereas mooncloth goes for 10g per. It is very sad considering the time to make the refinded salt for the hide.

well whatever alla's "median price" is, that doesnt affect the market on my server, these go for a good 12g... the refined salt goes for about 4g and the normal for about 3-10s
reeally annoying when i am not a LW but need to cure a hide to get my Ironfeather Breastplate made, cuz i wanna provide all the mats so i can get it reeeally cheap... but ppl want to charge me 5g when i have the normal salt and the hide...

maybe a guildy will waste a 3 day cooldown on me?

good god, who wants to start a petition to get blizz to lower this cooldown? ill sign!

I think you learn in Feralas Hahrana Ironhide, 55, Camp Mojache, Feralas
You need a rugged hide
a deeprock salt
and a salt shaker (engineering)
and three days

They're going for 7-10g on Agamaggen, and the refined salt's selling for more than the hide....sigh...I wihs Ironfeather's didn't need one....

Ok after much searching and asking I finally found where to learn to cure rugged hide. I wanted to kick myself, but thought I would share since no one else has put the answer up. If you are alliance go to Aerie Peak in the Hinterlands. The leather trainer there, Drakk Stonehand, teaches you cured rugged hide and a few other patterns. You still need a salt shaker to make deeprock salt refined and can only do this once every 3 days. Good luck.

The following quests can be picked up from 工匠威尔海姆 at the Light's Hope Chapel in the 东瘟疫之地 by completing 奥玛里恩的手册 which you get from 大工匠奥玛里恩.
He's trapped in a cage in the first room of trash in the Deathknight Wing inside 纳克萨玛斯.
With a skill of 300 and high enough reputation, you will be able to choose from a total of 13 different patterns depending on your professions: 裁缝 (4), 制皮 (6) or 锻造 (3).

Patterns / Plans doesn't exists, all of them are taught by 大工匠奥玛里恩 in 纳克萨玛斯
