Unfortunately with the new Enchant Chest - Exceptional Stats: https://www.wowhead.com/cata/spell=27960, this enchant has become generally redundant if items above level 35 - which is otherwise most items. Most twinks look for +100hp to chest rather than +4 stats. Cost-wise, this enchant can go for over 150g just on the mats, whereas the +6 stats would go for about 100g on mats. The +6 stats isn't incredibly difficult to get either, just have to get some rep (revered) with Honor Hold or Thrallmar. With a competing enchant that gives more bang for less buck, this enchant is more of a novelty now.

having said that, it is STILL the best enchant for druids, hunters, shamans and paladins. whilst some make cheap twinks, those who dont care about cost, i tell you this is the best hybrid enchant for the 19 and 29 brackets.

A lot of people, mainly twinks, simply don't realise that +100 health is nothing more than 10 stamina, and that +4 all stats is

+40 hp
+0.6 dps
+60 mana
+the odd mana&health regeneration, crit, dodge and block.

That's a lot! Even non-hybrids like rogues and warriors should realise that 4 stamina and 8 AP is about as good as 100 life- and more versatile, as well.

This indeed is the best enchant for lvl 19 Rogues, if only because dodge is the king at that level.

I wouldn't say that 100 health is worse or better than 4 stats for a twink. My system on my rogue is:
1 agi = 1 stam = 10 health = 2 AP = 2 strength = 3 dodge rating
(Crit rating is not factored in since there are very few items with crit rating, and they are inferior even for cheap/semi twinks).
Thus, if you look at each in system of points:
Agi = 1 point
Stam = 1 point
Health = 0.1 point
AP = 0.5 point
Strength = 0.5 point
Dodge Rating = 0.33 point

So if you use this formula on +4 stats you get:
4 strength = 2 points
4 agility = 4 points
4 stamina = 4 points
(Int and Spi not factored)
Total: 10 points

With 100 health, you get 10 points. Thus, IMO, they're even. I personally prefer +4 stats, but it's hard to come by and more expensive.

Once the heirloom chest pieces come out in 3.2, this will become a very desirable enchant for many classes as it is the highest +stats enchant you can get for those pieces.

As has been said already...
If you can get your hands on this, it is the best enchant for the Heirloom (BoA) chest pieces.
Though the +3 stats is much more common.

Have in mind that in Cataclysm Spell power will be transfered to Intellect and Intellect will be the DPS stats for casters.
There for this enchant will be even better for casters than it is now.
In addition Ap will be converted to Agility and the Agility power will be boosted so 4 Ag will be a bigger dps boost than it is now.

u guys should realize that any high lvl enchanter (MC progress etc.) has way more shards than eternal essences ..

in our AH atm greater eternal essences are like double the price than shards ... 1 shard is atm like double the price of 1 illu dust ... that could give you an idea ...

this would cost u on our server 10x5g+4x3g+15x1,50g ~85g

I gathered all the mats for this and tipped the enchanter 5g to do it (only one enchanter in my server has the formula). All around, it cost me a total of around 100g, but my epic chest deserved it.

Finding the Large Brilliant Shards shouldn't be the problem if you're at least running any of the higher level instances over and over for your set pieces. Every run I've been on are disenchanting the BoPs that no one needs, and as a result I'm swimming in the damn things. I'm now looking forward to seeing greens so that I can get de essences and dusts. ;)

You might want to ask guildmates to see if they can help you (if you have a helpful, non-greedy guild, hehe). Some enchanters have a crap ton of stuff just sitting around doing nothing in the bank (I think I have about 50 Illusion Dusts partying with their bad selves). I tossed one of my priests the materials for the +22 Intellect enchant, similar ingredients (in quantity) to this one. Necessary to stay alive, ya know? =)

Fool is all I can say.. If u put it on at less than the going rate the farmers buy it and put it for for the going rate and make even more gold. You are not putting them out of business, you are keeping them in business.

For the longest time I was debating between 100HP or 100 mana to my chest, and was overlooking this enchant. Little did I realize that this is actully the perfect balance between the two.

It gives you 40HP and 60 mana, which is together the same 100 to chest, but split among both your bars. It also gives you 0.2% crit and 0.5DPS, which doesn't seem like much but every bit helps.

Overall, this is definitly a no brainer for Paladins, Shamans, Druids and Hunters. If you're a pure caster class, the extra stats don't really matter but my initial point of balancing both health and mana should still be attractive.

Note: Some math for any noobs who don't understand stats... This enchant gives +4 to all stats. 4Sta = 40HP. 4Int = 60 mana (NOT 40 mana). 4Agi = 0.2% crit, because 20Agi = 1% crit. 4Str = 8 Attack Power = 0.5DPS, because 14AP = 1DPS.

Stop whining people, I make alot of money with enchanting. I don't even advertise, just give good service and have a wide variety of enchants and you WILL make profit. Enchanting is a hardcore profession, it requires effort but it's worth it and it's also fun.

It also helps to DE BoPs (and BoPs only, you can send BoE items to alt for DE).

On my server, Stormrage, the mats are sooo expensive....

Large Brilliant Shards: 6g-12g x 4 = 24-48g.

Illusion dust: 2g each x 15 = 30g.

Greater Eternal Essence: 10g-20g = 100-200g.

Dude, max price for that here would have to be then 278g! And even the lowest price of 154g!

154g... and im doing this for my twink too, but seriously id rather buy mats for +15 agility then this.

Mats are way overpriced, and for an enchant like this that happens to be RARE, tips i expect would be a must from all those greddy enchanters...

Honestly, im going to miss out of that 4 agility.. and im just going to stick with 100health..

My guess would be that you learn it from the top Enchanting trainer, seeing as it doesn't have a pattern listed.

This formula drops of 60+ elites I think, I remember this dropped of a green dragon when my guild was farming for the scepter of the shifting sands.

This enchant had not dropped on my realm (Kromcrush-US) until about a month ago, months after the game released. Definitely in high demand, as of now only one person on the realm has it!
