Final wave is 3 mobs; keep the standard above 40% for the final 3, because unless you have strong AE, the mobs will beat on the standard for a bit until you get them off it. It only has 1500 HP.

Part of the Horde questline for the Wrath Gate event. This quest line is very long and spans the entire length of Dragonblight. Quite honestly, I consider this one of the most important quest lines (thus far) in Wrath. A must-do for any hordeling. :)

In quite a few of these chains there are optional prequests. I will not list these, despite them being in the quest series list, because they are just that: Optional. I will list the LATEST quest available that will start the chain, or the one most likely to pick up while completing other parts of this chain.

Additionally, these quests are Horde Only. I, unfortunately, do not have an Alliance character on the Beta, so I do not have access to any alliance quests. Sorry!

Step names are purely flavor. They generalize what that part of the chain leads up to/is about.

I highly urge everyone to read the quest text. This quest line is quite possibly one of the most epic in Warcraft history and is highly worth the time. Lore lovers and haters alike should enjoy them.

The banner counts as a non-combat pet, so make sure you don't summon a non-combat pet or else it'll despawn the banner.

If you are doing this in a group, make sure everyone throws the banner down. We figured if one of us threw the banner, it would complete for everyone. Not so.

this quest is easy to do after you free the taunka chief. the fighters he resurrects will be there for two minutes or so after that quest and if you place the flag and the bugs spawn they will help and attack them.

25, 40.

Just stand on the island in the middle of the water .. place the flag provided .... the flag will then be attacked by a number of low health bugs .... thay come in waves 1 then 1 then 1 then 2 then 1 then 3 than your all done ... this is very easy just dont let them kill the flag ..... hold there agro thay dont hit hard :D

Simple quest. Part of one of the best story lines in the game in my opinion. Simply use the banner and then defeat the waves that get summoned. 3 waves coming in increasing amounts : 1, then 2, and finally 3.

Alliance players can attack the banner, and can do so on PvE/RP servers without becoming PvP flagged. Had a human DK continuously kill my banner until I called in a GM to yank him away.

Absolute easiest way to finish this quest is thus:

Pair it with the Return of the High Chief quest, free the chieftain, wait until they've killed the giant insect and are combat-less. Don't loot the giant insect.

Now plant the flag right by them, easy-mode what spawns with the help of every one of the Icemist warriors, and when that quest is complete, loot the giant corpse to complete the Chief quest as well.

No reason for you to need a group, solo'd this as a 71 Rogue with ease.

Can't do that anymore about halfway through this quest they disappear and you can no longer loot the giant insect causing you to have to abandon and redo the last quest.

This quest is real easy if you just remember to "tank" for the standard. That is, whenever a new mob appears, pick it up and let it beat on you instead of the standard until you get around to killing it. They don't hit very hard and they're pretty squishy.

The Might of the Horde

Senior Sergeant Juktok at Agmar's Hammer in the Dragonblight wants you to use the Warsong Battle Standard at Icemist Village and defend it against attackers.

Return the Warsong Battle Standard when you are finished.

Description

The taunka are now our brothers in arms. We must show our solidarity and retake Icemist Village.

You will find Icemist Village west of Agmar's Hammer, sitting at the foot of the mountains. Travel there and challenge the Anub'ar Nerubians! Plant our beloved Horde banner at Icemist Village and destroy all that dare come to tear it down!

Let the Anub'ar feel the true might of the Horde! Let our battle standard be the last thing that they see before death!
