A bit of lore from the Thunderfury questline:

"Baron Geddon is described as one of the lieutenants of Ragnaros who carried out the betrayal of Lord Thunderaan, the Prince of Air and otherwise referred to as the "Windseeker." During the Elemental Sundering, Ragnaros sought to consume Thunderaan, and did so by having his two lieutenants, Baron Geddon and Garr perpetrate him. Thunderaan, caught off guard, was utterly destroyed. Ragnaros almost completely consumed Thunderaan's essence, and stored the rest within a talisman of elemental binding. Ragnaros cleaved this talisman into two equal pieces, to which he assigned Baron Geddon and Garr. The bindings are rare drops, both of which gathered can be used to forge Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker."

Strategy (big, taken from wowwiki.com)

Baron Geddon is usually pulled to Garr's room for an easier fight. Typically the raid is setup in one of three ways:

1. Geddon Line - This strategy involves the group making a line about 40 yards from the mouth of the cave after pulling him. We use a hunter and warrior to pull, getting the warrior the first bomb as a sacrifice. The line spreads out in order to avoid a wipe incase of a bomb that doesnt move, and so we have a clear, easy place to explode.
2. Semi-circle - This strategy is to arrange the group in a *very large* semicircle around the MT, with an opening directed at the tunnel Geddon will be spawning from. When you are the bomb, turn around and run backwards towards the walls of the cave, well out of range of anyone else.
3. Grouped - This strategy involves everyone standing on top of each other. usually on top of Garr's rune. There is one group of people who need to be at 30 yards from the Baron for attacking and another group directly behind them that is out of the range of the Baron's Ignite Mana but still within healing range. When someone becomes a bomb they run away from the group, generally slighty southeast to where the ceiling is low so when they explode they get no falling damage. Using this method requires a lot of trust in your raid-mates to run away when they're the bomb (as well as using a mod to instantly let them know they're the bomb) but by keeping healers and the dispellers out of ignite mana's range saves on mana used dispelling since only mages need to be dispelled.

When Baron Geddon starts his inferno all melee dps needs to leave, even the MT. No matter how well geared the MT is, he will have a hard time surviving the inferno (unless he has over 315 FR)(and if he does survive it will cost a lot of healer mana). Beginning groups in MC that can't take the damage may want to have all players do ranged DPS and only allow the MT to get into melee range. Ignite mana should be dispelled, but not from warriors or rogues. Druids, if not otherwise engaged, can shift to bear or cat to eliminate both the mana loss and the damage taken from Ignite Mana until the debuff can be dispelled (see Notes section for a small problem with this strategy for Druids). Whoever is the living bomb MUST run away from the group and blow up by himself. Some groups have everyone else run away from the person with the bomb, but this method means all magic dps and healing stops and is not recommended. It's suggested to try and run to one of the edges of the room where the ceiling is sloped down to stop one from flying up as high. There are places in the room where you don't even leave the ground when you explode. In the case of exploding in an open area, Mages and Priests can use Light Feathers to cast Featherfall or Levitate, which will mitigate the falling damage and increase those classes survivability from being the bomb. Mages can also Ice Barrier, and Priests can Power Word: Shield prior to the explosion to help blunt some of the damage. Mages can use Ice Block and Paladins can use Divine Shield to remove this debuff from themselves. Druids can shift into bear form to absorb some of the explosion damage with their increased health then shift into cat form (if fast enough) while airborne to cut falling damage in half. Druids as well as Shamans can use Nature's Swiftness and Healing Wave to heal while airborne.

This fight is one of the easiest to MT in Molten Core. You must remember that he pulses 9 times each AoE. This fight will be frustrating the first two or three times, but it will quickly become cake when everyone figures out what's going to happen. Using CT_RA and Boss Mods will make identifying the bomb much easier.

You can also let a hunter use Eyes of the Beast to pull Geddon to the Garr room, where the raid is waiting for him standing on the rune, only the Tank will be outside the rune at this point. When Geddon comes the warrior agroes him (there won't be needed more than a hit since the pulling pet have just walked into his agro zone). After the initial agro you let the tank get alot of agro, using Sunder Armor, whereafter the rogues and other warriors engage in melee combat, and when the pulses come they run out and begins shooting at him. I have never tried with the tank running out.

When someone get the bomb they run to the nearby pylons (near the tunnel where Geedon enters) where a priest is standing casting Power Word: Shield on the bomb. The priest should of course be well out of range of the bomb damage.

Combustion does not Affect the crit chance of The Bomb, so don't bother using it if you're plans are to suicide bomb your Raid group at 1%.

A little about pulling Geddon for those unfortunate hunters who are called upon to do so. My class leader left about 2 months into our farming of MC and I was made the puller. Being that this pull happens far out of site, I had no idea what to do, and ended up dying many times before somebody told me what to do.

After clearing the lava packs up to where he patrols (don't forget the one to the right behind the rock) you want to have your pet out. Stand near the exit of the tunnel between Geddon's/Shaz's and Garr's room. Using Eyes of the Beast (yep, that spell you never thought you'd use) take control of your pet. Run up to the rock in front of you near where Geddon passes. Wait for him to come close and attack, or just wait for him to aggro on you. Remove EotB or let your pet die. Doesn't matter. Feign death. Remember that once Geddon is engaged he does combat pulses so your FD won't reset him, just remove any pet aggro from you. Get up quickly, as he will stop and pulse an AoE fire attack and kill you in FD. Move away from him. Once the tank has picked him up, you can run back to your group and comense the DPS.

I remember killing this guy for a full year after receiving my bindings from Garr and he never dropped the other half, and we saw 4 more Garr bindings in that time.

Two manned him last night with me (70 prot warrior t4 and bits from tk/ssc) and a 80 holy paladin. Took 18 minutes as we had to stand apart and it was only me doing damage. Paladin didnt go below 80% mana and we resisted the big explosion at the end. We did it in the corridor after Garr because of respawning core hounds (had on on us from 20% to 0). Probably easy for a prot pally at 80 with reasonable gear.

if you find firelords a problem you can just go afk and let the little adds spawn. you will resist there fireballs and in the end they all die/despawn, waste of time for some, but if your dps is poor you can just go make a cup of tea or summit :D

If attempting to do Baron Geddon with only a few people, here are some tips:
- Rogues can Cloak of Shadows out of the Living Bomb.
- Ignite Mana should be dispelled off of the healer if possible.
- Still a good idea to get out of the fire nova as it can do a good amount of avoidable damage.

As i failed to solo him as a protection paladin, i came back and soloed him as a level 80 retribution paladin in holy gear. (blue WOTLK quest rewards and TBC epics)

Took ~one hour.

Most boring fight ever.

Easily soloable as a level 80 prot pally using mostly naxx/heroic tank gear and fire resist gear (grab some northrend green "of fire protection" plate). Use Fire Resist aura for more FR of course. Keep sacred shield up at all times and use flash of light to heal as needed. Use seal of wisdom and judge it with light as well as popping divine plea every time its up and you should have little to no mana problems whatsoever.

You want to run with a good mix of fire resist (aim for 350+ with aura) and spell power (1k+ is good, use a healer type weapon for tanking him) and as much block value as you can get (helps with DPS for shorter fight). 540 defense here really isn't that important as he doesn't hit that hard, more fire resist will definitely help with incoming damage (his hits are all fire damage based and can be fully resisted quite often with enough FR).

Either tank him in the hall or on the ledge opposite from garr (recommended to avoid core hound pats) so you don't take fall damage from bomb. If you get a core hound don't panic, just watch your health and focus on killing the core hound and switch back to geddon once it dies (you might have to fight one or two core hound repops during the fight depending on where you tank him).

Ignite mana must be cleansed instantly (very important!). Keeping sacred shield up all the time is key to winning here as well, the crit bonus to flash of light it gives makes healing very easy.

Other than that, pretty simple fight, use normal damaging abilities and heal as needed. Fight normally takes me about 25 minutes.

I've managed to solo kill him as a Frost/Blood (just to solo this boss) Death Knight, here are some tips:

Ignite mana: Not very special, I've not seen it do any damage and since Death Knights don't have mana it won't be dangerous.

Inferno: This is the "hellfire" ability he does. He stands completely still and does a AoE, this AoE hits for INSANE amounts, if you don't run away from it you WILL be killed easily as it will eat up probably 50% or more of your hp just by standing there for some secs. Go at a range where he won't hit you and spam Death Coil if possible.

Living Bomb: Make sure to pull him somewhere near a wall so that you won't get so much fall damage. Like inside the hall.

Geddon only use fire damage, so if you got some fire resistance gear it would be nice or Frost Aura! Frost aura will almost reduce is damage done by 50%!

His attacks can be dodged, parried and all that stuff, so tanking gear is almost a must.

And don't forget: DO NOT LOOT THE CORE HOUNDS!

Just Solo'd as a Blood DK in full DPS gear in Frost Presence. Took about 15 Minutes and was VERY hard, you need to know exactly whats happening at all times and watch your debuffs/ hp constantly.

First attempt died at 5% because a Core Hound respawned. Got him down 2nd try.

Possible to solo this as an 80 ret pally in average gear, no FiR needed outside of the aura, which should be up. First off clear the hound and the surger in the tunnel between geddon and garr's room. Then you have 20 minutes before respawn so you need to get him down before then, which is fairly easy. I use taunt to pull him without clearing any other trash, and keep him in the tunnel the whole time.

I sealed wisdom and judged light. Keep sacred shield up, though the damage absorb is kinda trivial without scaling, it can be a lifesaver, esp with FoL crits. Make sure you cleanse ignite mana asap, and move out when he infernos. Use art of war procs when needed, avoid using consecration unless you're at full mana. Pop wings when its up, save divine shield and LoH for emergencies. Use divine plea when you lose more than 25% mana, but be careful with it, best used during an inferno when you're at full health. Use holy light if you really need to, I find it best to use these during inferno while you're out as well, but it won't hurt if you need it and can get it off in melee. It's pretty easy if you watch your health and mana, and stay out of infernos. The bomb can crit you for 6k unresisted though, so that can lead to some unlucky burst, which is why your health should be above 80% the whole time. If you find yourself low on mana with divine plea on cooldown, might wanna consider doing nothing outside of judging for awhile.

After he dies, respec prot and go kill garr :o been doing that and finally got both of my bindings in one run this week!

Baron Geddon, soloing.

For an 80 Protection Paladin, Baron Geddon presents a few challenges. The first one, which can be handled with Cleanse, is Ignite Mana. Basically, this will burn 400 mana from you every 3 seconds, and on top of that, it does damage to you for the mana it burns. The moment this goes up on you, you MUST Cleanse it.

The second issue is that as with all elemental-type mobs, his attacks are completely magic based (in this instance, all his attacks are fire based damage). This means that they can't be blocked, so you're wasting mana by putting up Holy Shield.

The third issue, is related to the second issue, is that because all his attacks are fire based, they ignore armor. The best way to negate this is with a good amount of Fire Resistance.

Now, back in TBC, i regularly tanked one of the Flame' of Azzinoth in the Illidan Stormrage encounter, so i had a full fire resistance set already. This consisted of the 4 epic plate pieces from "Badges of Justice", and the Flamebane Helm. On the Helm, i had a "+25 Fire Resistance and +30 stamina" enchant (Kirin'Tor reputation i believe). On all other items in the set, except the legs, i had +10 stamina from TBC. On the legs, i had the +20 Fire Resistance from the vanilla libram hand-in. As you can see, the helm was the only piece that had a WotLK enchant. With 130 resistance from the Aura, i was at 415 resistance, which is believed to be the WotLK cap against "? Boss level" mobs. Since Baron Geddon is a "? Boss Level" mob, the resistance rules still apply, although his damage will still be scaled for level 60.

This reset, i used both Seal of Wisdom, and Judgement of Wisdom. This did mean that i would have to throw a few Holy Light casts when i got low on HP, but it seemed much easier than my usual Seal of Wisdom+Judgement of Light combo. Sacred Shield is a good idea too, but it can really drain your mana if used too much. Bubbling and Bandaging and casting a few Holy Lights once in a while is a good idea. I did this once when i was at 22% hp, then again at 8% HP. Aside from that, i just healed outside Bubble, popped Divine Plea and Arcane Torrent (I'm a Blood Elf) when they weren't on CD, and i managed to make it through without much difficulty.

The main thing is cleansing that mana drain though.Failing to remove it will really hurt you, especially since you'll probably only have ~5.6K mana pool. I did this as a 0/57/14 build (Benediction and Deflection in my build, as well as 2/2 Imp. Judgements, and Pursuit of Justice).

I didn't get the binding from him this reset, but i did get the right-half from Garr.

solod him as a blood DK, 10 man/badge epic geared.
tank spec, tank gear. i only had 39 FR which actually helped reduce fire damage quite a bit.
I fought him in the hallway between his and garr's room to reduce fall damage.
just run away from his inferno ability and keep yourself up with rune tap and death strike.
anti-magic shell can help absorb some fire damage, you can use this as you are running away from inferno.

Soloed Baron Geddon as a Holy Paladin. Thought the following information would help others:

Sacred Shield (MUST HAVE)

Strategy:

Keep Sacred Shield active at all times
Get your back in a tight corner so that Living Bomb doesn't inflict too much fall damage
Use every ability when it's not on cooldown (Judgement of Light, SoR, Exorcism, Holy Shock, Avenging Wrath)
Try to coincide your FoL/HL casts with Holy Shock crits for Infusion of Light (less healing = more damage)

Damage Breakdown:
DPS: ~750
Holy Shock: 36%
Consecration: 15%
Shield of Righteousness: 14%
Melee: 13%
Judgement: 9%
Exorcism: 9%
Hammer of Wrath: 4%

I can't say much about holy or protection, but soloing Geddon as retribution is rather easy. With a mix of Naxxramas (normal) and 5-man (heroic) gear, he went down with no problems.

Tips (0/17/54):
- Seal of Light
- Fire Resist Aura (this is all the fire resist that you'll need)
- Sacred Shield (keep this up at all times)
- Judgement of Light
- Fight him in the hall to prevent too much fall damage, and be sure to cleanse his debuff as soon as possible.

Solo'd as a full furious retri paladin. I sealed blood, kept sacred shield up, judged light and used AoW procs.
He died very quicky, the hardest part of the fight being my mana went low once, easily sorted by a mana pot if your less geared (since you' have to heal more).
Didn't drop my bindings and I came to qq.

Tactics = Stand in a place with a roof, don't bother running from anything but the explosion at the end. Outheal his damage with your leet art of war procs and loot him.

Was not a fun fight, made less fun when a silly Core hound spawnd, although that turned out to be helpfull, just used Pest on the baron when my disease were low, and tabed and switched back

Went along to help a guildie tonight and something unusual happened: Geddon stuck Living Bomb on me and it went off for a whopping 10900, killing me in the process as I was only at half health and not really taking things seriously. Checking the combat log, it said Explosion 8600 Fire damage (2300 overkill) (Critical)? Correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression NPC spells could not crit?

A very strange state of affairs considering how little health level 60s had back in the day. The only other thing I could think of is perhaps a recent patch has left him bugged and given him the wrong Explosion or player spell damage is erroneously affecting the size of the explosion...

In any case, something you might want to keep an eye out for!

Been soloing him for a few weeks now on my prot pally. Much harder then Garr I find (As prot anyway).

Be sure to clear the adds beforehand, and pull him in to the tunnel and stand in that little groove in the wall (Living bomb won't shoot you up in this place).

Always keep sacred shield up, and fire resist will help a lot (I got the BC 4 epic fire resist pieces since I had a ton of extra BoJ left over from BC, plus fire resist aura for another 130).

Cleanse Ignite Mana off ASAP and just keep yourself healed when you need it, and all should be fine (If you have decent fire resist, you can stand in his Hellfire AOE type spell he does).

I got my bindings from him (I still do him though to get to Golemagg for possible Ingot drops). Still need Garr's though (And some more Elementium...)

Despite all the people talking about soloing him, this is actually one of the harder bosses in MC these days, I think. Definitely doable, but you can't pull him while half your raid is afk like you can with Lucifron or Magmadar or Shazzrah. Make sure a mage or paladin knows to dispell the Ignite Mana, even if it'll keep them from epeen-stroking at the top of the dps meter. If a living bomb hits several people when it goes off and Ignite Mana is on the healer, then people will die, even at 80.

He was once used as the cause of a prank. A lock or hunter would get pet to get living bomb then theyed dismiss them. This was used once in ironforge auction house where an imp appeared and killed everyone there. This is meant to be stopeed but i think if youve got a fast summoner and a tank that either rogue or nelf and can stealth as soon as they have effect you could lock summon them into a place with lots of players

just solo'd as a 3.6k gearscore prot pally, mainly heroic/blues using just fire res aura
fight was long and hard (lol) because i accidently pulled one of the packs of fire elementals along with barron. i was between 30%-50% hp the whole fight, used shield wall (divine protection) whenever he did the aoe fire thing because it ticked for ~800. Didn't drop the binding =(

Just soloed this as a 2400 gear score prot warrior. No fire resist. I imagine fire resist would make it easier, but it's definitely not necessary.

Specced for bloodthirst, rest in prot, blahblahblah. Geared for extra stam, was at 34k without commanding shout. Used the glyphs for bloodthirst and enraged regen, both very important. Pulled him to the end of the tunnel, to the right side, there's a ledge that's fairly long (about 30 yards) that you can stand under to avoid all fall damage from living bomb.

Pace of the fight, basically, is to keep commanding shout up at all times, do not let bloodthirst ever take longer than the 4 second cooldown to refresh, excepting for when Geddon infernos. The first two ticks are for 450ish, and aren't a problem, but they start ramping up, so you need to run to the other side of the safe ledge and let him come back to you. When you drop to about 50% health, hit last stand and enraged regeneration, keep bloodthirsting him, and avoiding the inferno ticks. If you're taking more than 3 at any time, you're doing something wrong.

Keep an eye on last stand and enraged regen, use shield wall to block some living bomb damage every time shield wall is up, and pray. With a bit of luck, you'll only take about 50% damage every 3 minutes between last stand and enraged regen, which heals for 52%.

On a side note, no bindings :(

I will also confirm that soloing Geddon as a Prot Warrior is extremely easy

What you want:

Stamina set. Nothing fancy, if you can tank ToC10, you'll be fine.
A Bloodthirst spec. Once again, you shouldn't need to "maximise utility", just allocate points to your liking.
Glyphs for Bloodthirst and Regeneration

I recommend just not moving the whole fight. Get into a nice spot and dont worry about the rest - just eat the inferno, as with enough stam gear, you'll be healing for a whole lot.
Go Youtube some videos if you want to see exactly where people tank it.
Do as others said, keep Commanding up, Demo and Thunderclap boss, use Last Stand + Regen when at around half HP.

Fight was a breeze - I thought and researched for such a long time thinking it'd be hard but it really isn't. For reference, I was about 38k unbuffed, general item level around 226, roughly 25 dodge and 20 parry. (You cant block his attacks)

Baron Gedon is a pretty tough fight, don't feel bad for dying, I'm here for you!

FERAL DRUIDS LOOKING TO SOLO:

Straight to the point, before you go in, you need to check your gear and consumables. My favorite flask for this whole place is the Lesser Flask of Resistance, although I have managed to do Baron without special fire resist gear. As almost all of Baron's damage is fire, including his auto-attack, so if you have any fire resist (such as the level 70 badge gear), you may want to put some on. Healing gear is also going to be necessary for this fight, I recommend about 25% healing gear. Ideally, you'll have 200 fire resist (buffed/flasked), and some 800-1.2k healing (while staff swapping). If your gear is completely amazing, you could get away with just the resist from MotW and flask while focusing on feral gear instead.

THE FIGHT:

Fight him in the little hallway. If you fight him anywhere else, you're going to be taking some 5k fall damage every time you come back down, and that adds up. The wall on the right side (coming from Geddon's room) has a few little nooks and crannies that are great for this.

He'll also toss up hellfire every once in awhile. This is your queue to get out of there, because you might be 80, but that thing still hurts. While running away, this is an excellent time to start healing. While running out, rejuv/lifebloom, nourish when you're far enough away, bear form, charge back in.

When you have the bomb, find that nook in the wall and hide. "But oh wise Vriesus, what happens when he does both at the same time and he's sitting on my hidding spot!" Well, you're out of luck. Run, heal, blow up. That sounds awfully harsh doesn't it! Well that's all there is to do. Move him to a spot where you can run back to your hidding spot if he drops a bomb on you, but far enough away so he can't reach your spot with hellfire. It's going to happen, just get ready with SI/FR if it does.

Also, you're going to have that annoying mana burn the whole time. You can't heal at every hellfire without running OOM, or wearing a lot of mana regen, so heal every 2-3 hellfires. Try whenever you have an opportune time (IE no bombs, you need health, and he's hellfiring). Innervate allows you to slightly cheat on this rule. Forget whatever your mother told you about cheating, in here, cheating is a good thing.

As for your potion of choice, I recommend the use of either a healing or mana potion. Mana is probably going to save your tush when you overestimate the size of your bar. I'd also recommend possibly a fire protection potion, as it absorbs more than a healing potion of equivalent level, or I forget what it's called, there's a 2 minute duration potion with 50 resist to all elements. 2 Minutes of 50 fire resist will mitigate more damage than any potion I've listed. Chug one before and during the fight and bam, 4 minutes!

Two things that makes this fight semi unsoloable for a BM hunter
- The Mana Ignite spell will make you oom / dead in 90 seconds if not less.
- You will always get the living bomb debuff, unless you get 300-400+ FR, consider it as a 3k tick every 12 seconds, unavoidable.

It is possible to avoid most dmg from Mana Ignite : you can stay OOM most of the fight and only go on viper when you need to pop BW and Mend Pet. then each Mana Ignite tick will hit for 40 instead of 400, before any FR.

Just rocked this guy like a hurricane on my prot pally.

Setup:
Clean the tunnel leading up to Baron and the 2 packs of mobs to the right.
Use FR aura, SoL, JoL, BoS.

Rotation:
Keep up Sacred Shield and Divine Plea (which will refresh so no biggie).
Use JoL, SoR, HotR....don't bother with consecration it uses too much mana.

Fight:
Pull him into the tunnel (stick to the inside part of it) till about the middle where it elevates, cram yourself in that spot...if you do it right it will nearly negate all the fall damage. Scoot around till you get nice and nestled in :)
Just eat the inferno you will heal right through and Sacred Shield will eat a good portion of it.
CLEANSE Ignite Mana ASAP (I had a /self macro for it).
That's about it. He's super simple...the spec I used (which I use for soloing MC/Kara/etc..) is here.

Soloed it as a lvl 80 affliction warlock.

Tanked it with my felhunter. I used full fire resistance gear to deal with the Living bomb debuff. Also, I positioned myself into a small nook in the wall so that I reduce the fall damage as much as I could.

Mana ignite is very annoying, so I dealt with it by just burning all my mana before I pulled him, and basically fought with zero mana. After every living bomb I just lifetapped once and used the mana I got to cast corruption and heal up with drain life. That way the damage I recieved from the debuff was minimal.

The most irritating thing was that the boss and my pet kept running around all the freaking time. Because of that they often went out of my range. When I tried to reposition my pet to get them both back in range the boss would for some strange reason bug out and heal back to full. It's pretty nerve wrecking, especially when it happens at 20% or so.

Anyway, it took me some tries to get it right. Also, at about 10% one of the trash packs near the boss respawned and it was pure crazy luck that they didn't aggro, considering that the boss was standing so dangerously close to them. I was like 'please don't start moving in that direction now, just keep still'. :D

Solo'd as an enhn shammy....of the do-able fights for an enhn shammy...this is one of the hardest imo.

Fall dmg cant be mitigated beyond finding a low ceiling. I found a really great spot in garrs room. Clear the first couple groups of mobs in Shazz/barons room....then use a totem to agro him from a distance. You want to run through the tunnel towards garrs room. Once your about to go into garrs room there is a place on the right where you can get up on the wall kinda....the ceiling is at the lowest point here and you take minimal fall dmg.

Use FR totem and a flask of resistance too....most if not all of his dmg is fire based to thats you only hope of dmg reduction. I used all of my maels for healing unless my wolves were up in which case I used lightening bolts.

Note: put windfury on both your weaps as he is immune to fire dmg. Frostbrand might work but I figured the WF weap might help mael proc more. so I do it with WFx2

Easily soloable as Fury (Pure pve dps specced fury) warrior. It requires 3 things tho:

Stamina stacked tanking gear . I used gear with 40k unbuffed hp and never went below 50%.

Inferno: Geddon stands still and emits pulses of fire around him. Behaves similar to a Warlocks , but does not do damage to Geddon.

Ignite Mana: Debuffs random players within 45 yards with a debuff that continually burns mana and deal fire as long as mana is burned. Should be removed with .

Living Bomb: Randomly targets a player with a bomb. After eight seconds, the bomb explodes, damaging the target and surrounding allies. The explosion also knocks the target high in the air. Cannot be dispelled, but can be avoided via Ice Block and .

Armageddon: Triggered at 2% health, Geddon stands still and stops attacking. After eight seconds, he explodes dealing tremendous fire damage to anyone within 20 yards.

Tips

Like Shazzrah, this fight is about proper positioning. The raid should circle around Geddon to avoid the odds of having a bomb hit multiple people.

This fight is also best fought in Garr's room.

When inferno is cast, all players should run out of range to reduce the strain on healers. The tank may stay in optionally stay in range to make sure Geddon stays in place.

All of damage in this fight is fire-based, so a high amount of fire resistance is recommended for everyone in the raid.

Non-mana classes will not take damage from ignite mana, and thus do not need to be cleansed. Druids can avoid taking damage from the debuff by shifting into bear form or cat form.

When someone receives the living bomb, he or she must run away from the raid so as to not affect others by the explosion. can help mitigate the damage from the bomb as well as the falling damage.

If you run to a location where a ceiling can limit the height of bombs knock back, you will take less falling damage. There are a few such locations in Garr's room.
