A friend of mine with more holy paladin experience than me shouted at me once that I was using my Judgements only to keep JotP up. What he said was that he's doing a great deal of his raid healing just with the Judgement of Light effect on the targets. The Judgment of Light changes in 3.2:

Judgement of Light: Now heals for 2% of the attacker's maximum health instead of a variable amount based on the spell power and attack power of the judging paladin.

mean a few things:

Spec of the paladin judging JoL won't matter anymore. Ret, holy, prot - whatever ^^.
The healed amount won't be dependent on the paladins spellpower rather the raid itself, meaning the tank with 45k hp will be healed for more than the healer with 17k hp, although 2% HP is still 2% HP no matter how much it is in numbers) This may mean that with progressing through higher level raids we'll see the JoL healing for larger amounts since the HP of the raid members will increase along with the raid difficulty. (Hope you understood)
The 10 extra seconds on the Judgement effect will let the paladin to save a GCD and retargetting

I won't consider this 2p bonus when using JoW, because that's kind of a rare situation.

Feel free to downrate this post if you feel I talked too little about the bonus itself

If this would prevent it from being overwritten by other pallys judges just by the fact that it lasts longer would make it better than what it seems to be right now...cause i guarantee that their always going to be another pally in the raid just for buffs.

Leave it to blizzard to have a 2 set bonus with so many questions. I very nearly scrapped my idea of getting the tier shoulders, but thought, the bonus must be there for a reason...Now, perhaps I've been an idiot and spamming Judgement of Wisdom for the extra mana (I have a slight tendency to over heal a touch, something about seeing only Green bars in my healbot). Now that I'm using judgement of light, I'm amazed at the increase in raid heals I'm able to dish out. If you are any sort of capable healer, it should be no trouble at all to keep 2-3 mobs tagged with JoL. And when mana gets to half, I simply wack at the boss a bit, we are plate wearers after all.

In conclusion...this is a very valuable piece of gear, and well worth the grind of Heroic Dailies to acquire it.

This is one of the most USELESS tier bonuses... if you are in a raid with another paladin *other than the tank* your judgement will be overridden. I had originally went for this thinking it would remain on above the ret paladin's, but it doesn't =( as stated in the other posts -- its only useful if your the only paladin to throw on different targets to increase ur healing... but that is just too rare for most 25 man raids to make it all that useful -- but i like the 4 piece bonus

Am I missing something here? A Paladin can only have one Judgement active at a time. So how are you judging 3 targets?

WIth the 10 extra seconds to Judgments it's actually possible to judge light on up to 3 targets at once. Granted it requires a lot of attention but even with that said, it's very easy to keep it up on 2 targets adding more healing to your raid.

"Only one Judgement active at a time" means that you cant hit something with Light, and then Judge it with Wisdom when the CD is up...one will overwrite the other.

But, there shouldnt be any reason, given 3 targets, you couldnt judge one with Light, the next with Wisdom, and the last with Justice. Provided you had this 2pc bonus, ofc. :)

Or, you could simply Judge one type (like Light) on 3 different targets. As I said above, the "One Judgement active at a time" refers to a single target.
