This is similar to schools of fish, but instead of fish contains water.

Spawns in 6 places in Azshara:
- 54.8, 38.8
- 60.1, 39.7
- 55.6, 51.1
- 79.2, 54.4
- 66.3, 68.5
- 74.6, 72.6

To fish there you need skill 420. That can be easily achieved with 300 base skill + 粗铁鱼竿 + 水下诱鱼器.

Respawn seems to be several hours (from my limited experience, needs more testing!).

Contains:
- Lots of 元素之水
- Rare, but quite useless 纯水之球
- Rare and very expensive 水之精华

You need to swim a lot to reach those locations, so equip 碧蓝丝质腰带!

Update: loot results from fishing for few days:
Elemental Water: 81
Globe of Water: 33
Essence of Water: 21

Fish got away with skill of 420, fishing from middle of pools: 8 times
So while 420 skill is enough, ideally it should be higher.

Heavily farmed for Essence of Water which is used for several max level crafts in vanilla/classic.

I've been farming them for the last 2 days or so here in classic wow, and they can last anywhere from 2 to 4 casts.

People will be regularly doing laps of these even at off peak hours. The most effective class seems to be Priest with their ability to water walk, but druids aquatic form is also pretty effective. Others can still swim normally, and use of water walking or swim speed increase items/consumables are helpful.

Pools appear to have a equal chance of getting Essence of water, Elemental water, and Globes of water.

Nothing else drops inside these pools.

I have camped a pool spawn point for quite a while... several hours yesterday/today off and on and it HAS appeared while I was there twice while standing at a spawn location of a pool. I just had a pool spawn on me, so I will try and camp it until it's next respawn and post a time on how long it takes to re appear if I can.

Needs 425 fishing to avoid misses, alliance have to wait for STV fishing tournament rewards to be able to hit the cap.

Has it been nerfed following the BGs patch? I got only 1 Essence of Water from 5 pools last night.

If they all have equal chances then I'm getting royally screwed. I get globe of water far more frequently than the other 2. Still a good way to make gold though. Even with allies going around trying to kill me all the time and taking my pools.

I fished 12 pools over a 2 day period.
10 globes of water
6 elemental water
6 essence of water- one pool gave me 2 Essences.

I do not think it is efficient time wise, but if you are doing the MC quest for Hydraxian Waterlords and you are already in the area, it would make sense to see if the pools are up to be fished. As far as actually just farming the pools, I think its easier to farm the water elementals at the lake and pond in EPL.

Fishing these are a great money-making method.

As others have stated, there are 6 locations spread throughout the open-water half of Azshara.

To see the 6 locations, you can look at any of the pages for:

水之精华 (1x per drop)
元素之水 (1x - 3x per drop)
纯水之球 (1x - 3x per drop)

All of which are possible drops from these pools. Essence of Water is the big money-maker here, and is pretty much the only thing that makes fishing these pools profitable (edit: starting in Phase 6, 强效冰霜防护药水 are now extremely important for raiding in Naxxramas, thus making demand for 元素之水 skyrocket! They are much more profitable now).

As far as I can tell, you need exactly 425 fishing skill in order to have 100% catch rate. Which means you need:

Maxed fishing skill (300)
纳特-帕格的超级钓鱼竿FC-5000型 (+25)
水下诱鱼器 (+100)

In order to not miss any catches. And since each of these pools only allow 2-4 catches, you will absolutely want to make sure you have 100% catch rate. Another commenter here has said that they still miss some catches even with 420 fishing skill. I have not tried 422 (which is the max you can get by using 粗铁鱼竿 instead of 纳特-帕格的超级钓鱼竿FC-5000型, by adding +2 fishing with the Fishing Gloves Enchant), but it is highly likely that even 422 would not be enough.

Unsure of the spawn timer on these, but based on my experience and other comments I've seen, I believe the respawn is random between 1-3 hours. The respawn is per pool.

Some classes have some advantages to fishing these, but IMO Shamans are the best equipped to farm these quickly. They can use 视界术 to check all 6 spots in under a minute, as well as 水上行走 to allow you to quickly move from pool to pool.

Best Class: Shaman, Water walking(Levitate) allows the fastest travel between points, Combined with Far sight you can scout all 6 spawn locations in under a minute. Hunter takes second best spot due to Hawk Eye saving you the 10minutes it takes to swim to check every spawn this beats priest which I see a lot of people saying is great for this. I personally only have a priest but.

425 Fishing required for 100% rate of catch, STV pole, Boots, Hat, Lure allows you to get 425 with the 10minute buff lure that is unlimited supply from vendors rather than the limited supply 5minute one that is more expensive.

Classes in order of BiS
Shaman, Hunter (Scouting spawns before swimming is a better time save than Druid Swim Form), Priest, Hunter (Scouting spawns before swimming is a better time save than Druid Swim Form), Druid, Mage, Everyone Else.

Other items of note: Swim Speed Pots - Great for avoiding conflict, Noggenfogger/Water Breathing Pots/Items for Water Breath - Great for swimming from conflict too. STV fishing event trinket - Makes you swim 30% faster.

I'm currently farming this in Som Phase 6. It's a decent way to make some passive money if you have a toon you can leave there.
