Paladin T8.5 Legplates. Originally dropped in Uludar. See new Wintergrasp Raid.

A big up-grade from the T7.5 Legplates , as They lack Haste, and gain +hit to replace many Retadin's +hit rating legplates.
Also It must be noted that The socket bonus on these is +6 strength, so It would be wise to socket with

Red:+20Str , +20str(unique)
Blue:+10str , +15stam

JC's obviously socket their str jem.

Compared to the Ret T7.5 Valorous Redemption Legplates:
+28 Str
+29 Stam
Lose a Yellow Socket for a Blue Socket
Socket bonus of +6 Str instead of T7.5's +6 Crit
+58 Hit
+8 Crit
-84 Haste

So Rets lose 2.56% Haste for a big Hit gain of +1.77%, a slight Crit gain of .17% and 28 Str. Haste has always been a weaker stat for Rets, so no major loss there. Unless you need the blue socket for your meta requirement, you can ignore the socket bonus and stack two Bold Scarlet Rubies giving a total of +145 Str > after talents: 145*1.15 = +166.75 Str = +333.5 AP. With the Ret mechanics changes in 3.1, EJ theorycrafting has said that being hit capped will be important for top dps. This is another good T8 piece for the set bonuses.

why does it only show as a skirt type i mean do they have legg type? ive seen them but when i search for wowhead or some i only see skirt type

Does anybody know if it is possible to get non-kilt looking versions of these legs? Seems a very strange choice by Blizzard, and one I really dont like..

Sigh, pallys are back to being dressadins.
It might be a dress but it still does not look as cool as Judgement's dress :P
