There's a patch of Greater Spore Bat(s) between 21,19 --> 18,15
They're yellow, and not many ppl pass by this corner -- just make sure u don't fall off the edge of the world.
Just remember to take breaks to eat/drink cuz you don't wanna die (it's a 1000+ yd run from the nearest gy by sporeggar)

The best place to farm for me was at here from spore bats they were all over the place but there were some basilisks near by.

I've flown all over Zangarmarsh killing the mobs that drop Fertile Spores and I agree, without a doubt, that the suggested area in the northwest of the zone is by far the most efficient area. There are swarms of Greater Spore Bats around Ango'rosh Stronghold. You're practically swimming in them there, so it's easy to rack up spores. Just watch out for the roaming Basilisks. Like other Outlands basilisks, they play dead and then pop up to charge you.

Once done collecting spores for the day, run through the Bloodscale Enclave to do the repeatable Sporeggar quest "Now That We're Still Friends." Same as turning in six spores, it's worth 750 rep--just for killing twelve Slavedrivers and six Enchantresses.

it seems unless i had epic bad luck, the drop rate from the mobs in the above mentioned areas has been lowered I killed around 20 sporebats and got 3x fertile spores, I got heaps ofother spores. I think doing "Now that we are friends" would be easier

As an 80 druid Ive found this method of farming rep to be a tad slower than "Now that were still friends". With roughly a 1 in 3 drop rate, it should take about 18 kills to get the 6 spores needed for 750 rep. It takes exactly 18 kills to get the 750 rep via Friends quest. At 80 killing any of the mobs is trivial, so Im mainly concerned with my time investment.

I decided to farm up 24 of of these, which took 2 full circuits of "1 shotting" groups of 3-5 sporebats. Id Insect Swarm, move to next, IS, next, IS, etc, hurricane em down if need be and loot from coords 24,18 to about 15,30 along the NW "shoreline". I killed 45 mobs to do so and it took about 18 minutes not including whatever time it took me to fly back to Sporrager and turn in/vendor/repair.

I later did this a second time and it took 68 kills and 25 minutes to complete. Random chance FTW. Oddly enough both runs took under the assumed 72 kills that a 1 in 3 drop rate would dictate. With that in mind it could just as easily take 80+ kills and well over 1/2 hour to complete. (Not that you would normally farm only 24 at a time)

Timing 4 Friends quest runs took on average just over 4 minutes including picking up quest, flying to and killing quest mobs, slave adds, looting all, flying back to Sporrager, turning in, vendor/repair and pick up the quest again. Under 17 minutes altogether for the same amount of rep.

Then I decided to try the same thing without looting or vendoring and each run took just over 3 minutes, totaling 12 Mins 20 seconds for all 4.

In all 4 tests I had all mobs to myself, noone else was farming or questing in either spot.

So its possible that the friends quest may be more efficient at 80 depending on how fast you farm the runs, plus not depending on random chance like you do for spore drops. But the difference is minimal, and really either way is valid, just preference really.

For me, its just nice to know I can jump from one style to another if I get bored and Im not losing a huge amount of productivity. Helps keep me sane during the grind.

Turn in 10 of these you will get 750 Rep from Sporeggar. I suggest don't vendor them for those of you that don't want the rep, they can sell for a lot in AH. Lazy people like me would rather buy them. lol

The Greater Spore Bats are the best way to go and almost beg you to grind on them by giving you a +30 increase to all stats for 5 minutes after killing one. You can find them all along the edge of Zangarmarsh to the west edge of the world. You can still turn in these fertile spores for rep at revered, so go for it. The only other things you can do is turn in Sanquine Hibiscus, or Kill those Bloodscale Naga. This seems to me to be the easiest thing to do.

i have found out that these things drop really well off of the bats that have a yellow name. mostly greater and normal spore bats. don't waste time with teh young spore bats b/c they have a low drop for these. your best bet of getting them are all the bats.

If you want to farm Sporeggar rep, why not just kill loads of Withered Bog Lords and Withered Giants in Dead Mire. Bog Lords give 17-19 rep each and Giants give 3-5 rep each. Then you get the chance of Motes of Life dropping which is a money maker and there is also the grey items. I just farmed The Dead Mire for 90 mins and made 7g just from rubbish and still had 2 green items and 26 Motes of Life (no herbing).

I have found that killing the Fen Striders does drop these more often than anything else though.

Gaining Neutral Reputation

When you first encounter the Sporeggar creatures, they will not talk to you because you are Unfriendly. However, you can open up this faction by completing the quests given by Fahssn listed below. You should only have to complete 3 quests if you kill the mobs, 4 if you buy the mats.

Gaining Friendly Reputation

Gaining rep through Friendly is fairly easy for a player leveling in Zangarmarsh. Grinding in the Spawning Glen, players should collect Mature Spore Sacs and Bog Lord Tendrils. These items can be turned in to Fahssn on the eastern edge of the glen. Both these quests are repeatable until you reach friendly status, although the first quest if obtained before friendly will give rep after friendly but will not be repeatable. The mature spore sacs can be tracked with the Dwarven Treasure Finding racial ability, which allows for easy collection.
At neutral a quest is offered in Sporeggar to turn in Glowcap. Players might wish to skip this quest, Glowcaps are the Sporeling's currency and might be better used to purchase items from the faction's reputation-based vendor. On the other hand, Glowcaps are abundant in western Zangarmarsh, and can be harvested quickly depending on competition. Herbalists can detect Glowcaps on the minimap, which allows for rapid collection as well. This quest is only repeatable until Friendly.

Jumping from Unfriendly to Halfway Honored Instantly without Grinding

At level 62+ go to Fahssn and get both of the quests he offers. Pick one of the following quests to do multiple times. The other will be saved until later:

More Spore Sacs
OR
More Tendrils!.

Do this single quest until neutral with Sporeggar and stop. Most likely this will be More Tendrils! as it requires 6 Bog Lord Tendrils vs 10 spore sacs. The tendrils are generally cheaper and more frequently listed on the AH than the sacs.

Travel to Sporeggar and get the following quests into your log but do not do them:

The Sporelings' Plight Sporeggar (must be neutral) Glowcap Mushrooms
Return to Fahssn and continue doing the repeatable quest you chose until you cannot anymore at friendly. (You will be at 500 friendly if no kills from rep.)
Kill any of the mobs that give rep (Bog Lords etc) if you plan to reach exalted. If not, skip this step.
Turn in the 4 quests above that you have not done yet for 750rep each bringing you to 3500 friendly.
Other questing in Zangarmarsh and Underbog will naturally push you into honored.

A lot of comments suggest that farming these is hard. This is not the case.

In the North Western Corner of Zangarmarsh, above Ango'rosh Grounds there are tons of Greater Sporebats. You do not have to wander aimlessly around the marsh looking for random mobs that drop the spores. Blizzard put them all in one place.

I only say this after I farmed to revered by wandering around the marsh. So much easier in the NW corner. There are some basilisk up there, but they are not hard to avoid.

For someone soloing the rep, this is the best way to go. If you have a group, I think the "Now that we're still friends" quest is probably easier.

Rep (+15) can still be gained after Rev in the cave in the SE by the path to Shatt forest. their a little further apart so takes longer to get anywere an mostly drop junk an plant parts.there were also a few mines tht spawned

成熟的孢子 is a quest related item - you need to collect 6 to complete 成熟的孢子 and 更多成熟的孢子 quests.

Various sporebats can be found all around Sporeggar, mostly to the east and south. Marsh Walkers can be found walking along most rivers in the location.
成熟的孢子s can be collected without the quest so you might carry some in your backpack already. 更多成熟的孢子 unlocks after this quest.
