Just fyi... there is a misconception among some that this horse requires Exalted rep to obtain, even if you are a human. Perhaps it used to be like that, but no longer.

Any human can purchase this black stallion mount, at any level of rep... and of course anyone else with sufficient rep to buy a horse can buy this one.

As of Patch 3.2, mounts that require 75 Riding Skill can be attained at level 20 for 6g altogether—5g for training, and 1g for the mount itself.

I came across this mount by accident in Wetlands just as I was about to level to qualify to get a mount.

Just goes to show...it's worth looking arond as most people head straight for Eastvele Logging Camp (if human) to get a mount.

I faction changed a blood elf priest to be a Draenei priest, and i was only exalted with Undercity when I was horde, but now my priest is only exalted with Darnassus. I somehow have the Black Stallion as one of my mounts o_O!

U can train it in eastvale logging camp in Elwyn forset i think.

Buy from breeder at Menethil, Wetlands.

You need to be level 40 to ride any mount you cannot ride the black stallion at level 17.

Is it possible to get a white horse at level 40? I saw a White Stallion running around the stable in Menethil, but it wasn't for sale. I looked all over the place (Elwynn, Theramore, Southshore) and couldn't find one to buy.

There are no white horse available at lvl 40.

The only white horse in the game is the epic swift, white lvl 60 horse (with armor.)

The white horse at Theramore, Goldshire and other places is the old epic horse wich is no longer available. Sad, but true, they replaced it with a armor-covered uglylooking horse :|

The black stallion is a lvl 40 mount. There are one other black horse in the game, and thats the epic black war horse (pvp mount)

Look...To get this mount head to wetlands-menethil harbor. The vendor is there. But to ride this mount you should head to eastvale loggin camp at elwyn forest and train to do so. So no u don't auto learn to ride it by buying it! to the question askin if dwarves can ride horses here is what i say: man if u are near lvl 40 and u have the guts to get exalted with stormwind then gg and go buy the horse. Eitherwise you can buy it but u can't train the horse riding. That is the same for every race.e.x. if human wants to ride a tiger he needs to be exalted with darnassus. getting exalted with cities is a doable thing with the repeatable runecloth donation.But last time i logged in runecloths aren't dropped at lvl40 places...=P so at lvl 40 try to get ur own race's mount. Leave the mixin up for lvl 60!

Can anyone tell me how i can get this or any kind of mount other than the dwarf ram considering im a dwarf? Rather i mean how can i train in horse riding or anything other than ram riding?

I've heard you get a discount on this item (and the riding ability) if you are exalted with SW, is this so?

Also does the price differ if you are an exalted human compared to, say, an exalted dwarf?

you buy this in menethil harbor its 9g if your exalted with SW or a human. its the most BA of all the horses.(because i have all the horses) get it. and mount it all night long.

okay i just hit exaulted on my hunter and i really wanted to get the black lvl 40 horse. i flew all the way to menethil, then down to eastvale loggin camp, an dyou cannot buy it. or i cant at least.

my guild has no clue what theyre taling about when i asked them for info, so hopefully you guys can help.

this is NOT a pvp reward is it? i can only buy 3/4 of the horses from the trainer that are listed on wow.com.

just got in menithil relly cool 9g to buy 81g riding skill (at eastvale logging camp)and you can only get when you are exalted with humans or you are a human

p.s. horde can't get it

This requires lvl 40 and riding skill of 75, which can be purchased in Eastvale Logging Camp, Darnassus, the Exodar, etc.

To purchase the Black Stallion you must be either A. Human or B. Exalted with Stormwind.

It cannot be purchased where you buy your riding skill in Eastvale Logging camp; you can buy this mount in Menethil Harbor.

Menethil Harbor is in the Wetlands, the city with ships that go to Theremore and Auberdine.

To get to the Wetlands from Elwynn Forest:

Go to the Dwarven District in Stormwind.

Take the Deeprun Tram to Ironforge.

From Ironforge run out the main gates and to the left (east).

Follow the road into Loch Modan.

Stay on the road and go north.

You'll come to another series of tunnels. Follow the road through the tunnels.

You'll leave the tunnels in the Wetlands.

Follow the road -straight, don't take any of the forks- and you'll get to Menethil Harbor.

Cooie is right. I have just purchased the Black Stallion.

I am a Night Elf who has just gone 40 and Exalted with SW

The cost kos I am exalted is 72G for the Skill and 8G for the Stallion.

I turned in absolutely no cloth to become exalted, and besides I dont you can turn in Mageweave before you hit 40 anyway for rep, kos I couldnt on another toon. You can do the first two Wool and Silk but not Mageweave.

It was attained purely from quests

You can now go to Elwynn Forest and learn the riding skill at level 30. This cost me 31g 50s because I am honoured with Stormwind. The mount cost 9g (also due to faction rep) from Menethil Harbour.

Limited supply just means you're going to have to be patient, the vendor will have one for you eventually. You may have to camp out for a couple of hours and check every minutes or so, but you will eventually get your black stallion. :)

yay i bought one for my lvl 36 draenei female! i had to really do alot of quests without getting any exp, only rep. but it's worth it, i can't wait til she hits 40! i did most of the human beginner quests, they reward alot of rep.

Katie at the logging camp has a limited supply but the horse breeder in Menthill harbor has an unlimited supply of this mount so just go to menthil and you wont have to wait or camp.

now i am on the horse and cannot unride kos the screen display dissappear!is there a way to unride
