It is the pre 1.6 Orc epic mount.

Actually you are wrong gammaomega93. This mount is no longer obtainable as of 1.6. The quest is actually to trade in the Arctic or Red Wolf Horn to get one of the new ones.

Blizzard introduced new mounts that have armor.

Frankly I like the old ones better :(

u can see this mount in the barrens at i think south of far watch post,its in a stable

Currently you can trade this mount at the Wolf vendor for a more recent mount. However, it is impossible to obtain this mount. If you have this mount and choose to trade it in, be warned you will never see it again.

Ive been on the tester realm and they said Wolf swaping and i was wondering what does this mount look like? so if anyone has pic's of this can the please post a pic?

yeah it was a pre 1.6 epic mount for the orcs, if you want to see one you have to go to everlook in winterspring and see the mounts that are outside of the city. there is the arctic wolf there. for the red one i dont know where you can see it

Okay what is going on? I already had a great white epic kodo. I bought a swift Timber wolf JUST TO TRADE IT IN FOR THE ARCTIC WOLF and I cannot complete the quest.

This quest was not there when I purchased my regular wolf mount at 60 so I know it is a newer feature.

people, read the quest description carefully. Its about swapping the arctic wolf to NEW mount (I do not know if it means the swift ones or something like that or something else) I guess it is for those who bought this mount long time ago as this is old mount as far as I know.
Do nto waste your money to buy wolf mount and try to change it to arctic wolf.
Did not you notice that quest requires Horn of the Arctic wolf and not the others?

It seems it is still there,61,23 at the barrens. Pitty I cant get it on my lvl 22 :(

Well i went to see the artic wolf to day in the barrens where that post said...all there was is one artic wolf and some peons walking around.....sry but i guess its impossible to get the artic wolf now.

you can swap your old one for this by the wolf vendor

IT wont let my change out mounts. how do i give it to him? do i have to have a artic wolf horn and ware do i get it. plzz walk me throught it.

This wolf cannot be attained anymore. You cannot trade in a current epic mount for this one, either. And, if you never got an old epic mount the swap quest will never work for you.

This Mount used to be buyable before the 1.4 patch in Classic WoW.

It is one of the 14 unarmored Mounts that have been made unavailable with that patch.

Interestingly enough, the 亡灵 are the only race that didn't have any unarmored versions. This is because they've already had the armored versions in that patch.
