. It is the seat of the leader of the Vrykul Dragonflayer clan, King Ymiron, who has allied himself with the Lich King. The dungeon instance,

Utgarde Keep was long thought to be abandoned, a relic of a lost civilization among the central cliffs of the Howling Fjord. Yet in recent days something has roused the fortress' slumbering residents, the vrykul.

Getting to Utgarde Pinnacle
The Utgarde Pinnacle Dungeon is located in Utgarde Keep at Wyrmskull Village on Daggercap Bay in Howling Fjord, Northrend. The entrance to the Dungeon is on the opposite side of the Keep from the village. The nearest flight points are Valgarde Flight Point for Alliance and New Agamand Flight Point for Horde. The summoning stone is directly in front of the dungeon entrance.

Normal vs. Heroic Utgarde Pinnacle in Wrath of the Lich King Classic
In Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Heroic modes become available at level 80 with no specific attunement or key requirements. The primary differences between Normal and Heroic versions is the loot table, which will be covered in the separate Utgarde Pinnacle Loot Guide.

Utgarde Pinnacle Achievements in Wrath of the Lich King Classic
Dungeon achievements for Utgarde Pinnacle are divided into Normal and Heroic. Completing these achievements successfully requires finishing the objective in the correct dungeon mode. Each Dungeon achievement rewards 10 Achievement points.
