This NPC gives daily quests that represent a repeat of what was done in TBC when Wind Trader Zhareem gives away a daily quest for heroic 5-man instances. Now in WotLK, you'll see a holographic projection of the target of the day's heroic dungeon near Archmage Lan'dalock in Dalaran. It's the end boss of the particular instance.

Here is the list of the possible NPCs that will appear on that hologram:

This Kirin Tor mage is the Wrath equivelent of Nether-Stalker Mah'duun in BC.
He will give one of 12 different quests each day to kill the end boss of a given instance - who is displayed as a hologram right behind him. The instance MUST be run in Heroic mode to complete the quest.
The reward for the proof of demise is 22g 20s and 2 Emblems of Heroism!

This guys gear is what a full t8.5 mage should have looked like. No tunic stuff, just awesome robes and cool staff, meshing together well for what a mage needed to be

Noth the Plaguebringer Must Die!
Anub'Rekhan Must Die!
Sartharion Must Die!

All quests award 10 x Emblem of Frost and 33g 20s.

Also note that the raid daily bosses are all available as the first boss you do in an instance.

You really think those are the first bosses you do in the instance...

Lord Jaraxxus --------------------- 2nd boss in ToC
XT-002 Deconstructor ---------- 2nd boss in Ulduar if you don't want to go for optionals
Ignis the Furnace Master ------- optional boss in Ulduar which you can do only after FL is dead
Razorscale-------------------------- optional boss in Ulduar which you can do only after FL is dead

Rest of them are idd first bosses

So it would be better if u said 1st or 2nd bosses.

I dunno, probably going to make it 5 as it is a raid, making it 3 would be almost pointless as it's the same as a heroic daily

The quest did reset on tuesday on european realms, yet I think its some kind of bug and there should be a new one every week after the wednesday reset.

if you do it early in the week, you personally will be able to pick it up a second time, 4 days after you originally did it.

I refute this information.
Completed the quest Tuesday evening and Lan'dalock has no new quest on Sunday afternoon.

After you complete a weekly raid from this guy. A dead body of ex. Noth The Plaugebringer will be floating behind him in some sort of force field behind him.

I hope in a future patch release someone at Blizzard should add some more quests to this guy like...

Hannah Montana must die !
Camp Rock must die !
Jonas Brothers must die !
