Wrath of the Lich King is the second expansion where Flying is allowed -- but not right away. All players will be grounded in Northrend until they learn the

Changes to Riding Skills in Wrath of the Lich King Classic
Wrath of the Lich King Classic has created the following changes to the first three levels of Riding, reducing the required levels, skill costs, and mount costs. Base costs listed are not modified by Reputation, which will drive prices down.

How to Fly in Northrend in Wrath of the Lich King Classic
Once you reach the shores of Northrend, your flight skills become temporarily useless. To reactivate your ability to Fly, you will need to reach level 77 and learn

will not teach you how to fly if you don't already know how, but it will allow you to use your current flight skills again within Northrend.

Flying Trainers in Wrath of the Lich King Classic
There are five flying trainers in Northrend.
Two only teach the normal Flying levels,

Saving Money on Flying Skill through Reputation
The big difference between these two groups of trainers isn't that one group teachers
寒冷天气飞行
and the other doesn't -- it's that the trainers who teach
寒冷天气飞行
are not members of any faction, and thus cannot offer reputation-specific discounts for

.

Two new <Riding Trainers> were added to Honor Hold and Thrallmar in Hellfire Peninsula in Wrath of the Lich King Classic, and they have also have a faction that can give you a discount on

Northrend No-Fly Zones
Flying mounts are allowed in nearly all zones, with two exceptions: Dalaran and Wintergrasp. However, both of these come with caveats.
Dalaran:
Once you are in the city proper, you cannot even get on a flying mount or use Flight Form, not even to use it for gliding along the ground. If you are in Krasus' Landing (the area with the flight master), you can get on the flying mount and then soar around the city -- as long as you don't get within a few feet of land or go into a door. As soon as you do, you will get
降落伞
, a 60-second effect that gives you a Slow Fall with a parachute graphic (you can click this off). It's a bit overkill given that this goes into effect just a couple feet off the ground.
Well, this is awkward.
Wintergrasp:
If there is no battle going on, you can fly in Wintergrasp. If there is a battle going on or one starts as you are there, you will get warnings the battle is going to start. Anyone on a flying mount when the battle starts will be dismounted (or Flight Form turned off), and will get a
降落伞
slow fall -- but in this case, you could be a long way from the ground when this happens. Still, it's not the best position to be in, depending on where you are when you get dismounted.
Flying in Northrend Without Cold Weather Flying
If you are at least level 77 and do not yet have
寒冷天气飞行
, visit
“诚实的”麦克斯
at K3 in Storm Peaks at /way 40.6 84.6. He will give you

(Alliance) or

(Horde). This is a normal-speed flying mount that only works within Storm Peaks, Sholazar Basin, and Icecrown. Once you learn

It's worth noting that the level requirements and prices for WotLK Classic are much lower/cheaper than they were in TBCC.
