Finally night elven priests and priestess' got a worthy talent. This one is greatly appreciated in PvP, especially against our arch-nemesis, the rogues. In PvE this might save you from a wipe easily. 20% is a great boost, when you take into account that night elves get 1% dodge as their racial.

This can make a huge difference in situations like Fel Rage on Bloodboil in Black Temple. Pretty nifty :D

Blind is considered a ranged attack, so basically this buff gives 20% to avoid blind^^,

Undead get a massive spell that dmg's someone over time....AND heals them at the same time.

And we get a -7 to ranged as NE's!
LMAO. was the guy high as a kite when they thought this was a good tradeoff?

Does anyone use this crap? Im lvl49 NE priest and i cast this spell only once...when I wanted to know which graphic efects casting of this spell does...

the dodge is 10%, hunters aspect of the monkey is only 8%. The difference being they get it constantly and we only for 15 seconds every 5 min. Against a slow hitting single target this will perhaps block 1 attack. Lets say 2.5 swing speed over 15 sec. That is 6 swings. 10% of 6 is 0.6; You can expect maybe 1 dodge, with a bit of luck. Against 2 cats with 1.5 attackspeed: 2*15/1.5 = 20 swings. 20*0.1 = 2. again just 2 attacks.

>This of course not including the racial dodge buff and other sources of dodge. A hunter, to further compare it with aspect of the monkey, will gain lot of dodge chance from agility. A stat that priest do not want and hunters die for. They surely out dodge priest anyway.

In other words the more mobs and the quicker the attack speed the the higher the potential. But this is a self cast on a cloth class with little to none aoe. Priest will not take a lot of mobs willingly especially often. One of few scenarios I can think of where 10% dodge for 15 sec with 5 min CD is at all helpful and not a waste of global CD is in a dungeon when you get aggro from far to many mobs at the same time and your PW:Shield drops like a stone and Weakened Soul hinders a second. In that same scenario, however, Desperate Prayer seem a whole lot more effective. I guess if the tank is so bad at taking back aggro or completely dead and you have to endure for a long time there will be a breaking point where the dodge help lower the dps against you and the spell push back enough that you may spam heals more efficiently and not die as quickly. Still so extremely situational. I would not say worthless. But I don't see myself using it anytime soon. A nice panic button i guess. Against hunters in pvp i this should be good as well. I have yet to try it though. Here too the faster the speed the lower each hit and the better the flat reduction. If a silly hunter comes and tries to pick you off you ignore both his auto shot and pet. It offer no protection against Aimed Shot though.

NE priest might not have the 'best' racial spells but they are cool AF. I will still stick to it. Praise the Moon
