All armor and weapons that require a personal rating now also require your team to have atleast same rating in order to buy.

Example:

Shoulders 2000 Personal rating now also require Arena team rating +2000.

These shoulders are slightly underbudget (or the Felweave version:https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=33682 are overbudgeted). These have 1 less stamina, 2 less resilience, and 1 less "rating" (spell hit and crit take the same itemization per rating point, these have 16, Felweave has 17.) Given that you are hit capped (3%), which most people are without really trying, Felweave are certainly the better choice regardless of spec.

As of June 24, 2008, this shoulder, along with other Season 3 shoulders, now have a 15% discount and 50 point reduced rating requirement for both personal and team arena ratings. The price for this weapon should be around 1275 arena points, and 1950 personal and team arena rating requirement.

It may be cheap, but you also need a rating of 2000 to wear it with one of your teams. Not sure why it doesn't show that in thottbot's link, but if you look at the link in game it will show that requirement.

To buy the shoulders you need a rating of 2000 but after u buy them you dont have to keep yur rating up to use them i think its worth it they look awsome and great stats!

yea i agree with the guy above me. i have 12.6K unbuffed and its plenty, fear reduction time > than extra resil. 3 Vengeful and 2 Merciless... btw felweave is bad in my opinion spell crit rating what? destructo lock in arena lol /no
