This can be earned with items found in Ahn Qiraj 40 man raid. You need 1 Carapace of the Old God, 2 Idols of the Sage, 5 Silver Scarabs and 5 Bone Scarabs and bring them to Vethsera inside Ahn'Qiraj. You also need to have Honored reputation with the Brood of Nozdormu

i think blizzard made a good job by decreasing the epic set parts to 5 now... be honest, how many people had a complete t2 set? it's almost impossible to get if you don't wanna spend months of frustrating mc/bwl farming. i'm playing wow to have a enjoyable time, what about you?

Excellent piece (and set) for Retribution Paladins.

Who cares about the looks, honestly? Even the most hideous-looking piece of armour can be made to look decent, or at least can be covered up, with some effort.

For anyone who wants these stats without the looks, I'll give some advice:

Get a tabard. Not just any tabard, but the right tabard, that you think goes well on your character. If your guild doesn't like that, well, you make the call.

Get a shirt that you think goes well with your gear and tabard.

Turn off your character's helmet graphic if it's a problem.

Very good stats for the gear, not only toward healing eh, what is generally emphazed by the developpers in the game when something touches to paladins. I like this set, much as I like the Judgement set.

Now how it looks, it looks like the set of a Bronze Dragon, that's why it looks so odd at first glance for a paladin, but put you in the skin of a developper one time, it's like a Bronze Dragon set, and I tend to not be shabby to wear a Bronze Dragon set and you might like it like me after realizing that.

There's no itemization here though, who wants another set than this very one, ultimately no, nothing equals this set, so all paladins might want to wear this particular set, and this set makes the top played paladin no different, unless Blizzard projects to add more sets of this same level.
But there is again the PvP set of course for a different itemization, different sets from different purposes but here we get two different paladins both in different sets so there is a bit of itemization still with also that PvP set.

I rolled a paladin without the knowledge or care of what role they played in endgame raids and so far im very happy with what Blizzard has done with the onset of this armor.

Im a Ret paladin and always thought of myself as a warrior with healing abilities and thats what this set does. Use Lawbrginer and Redemption for PvE in raids, this and the Paladin Grand Marshal gear for PvP and PvE in grinding.

Personally I never thought that Judgement was really that great unless you were Holy specced and healed/offtanked alot, too little strength and no agil or anything like this set. Even Lightforge had around the same stats the only difference between Judgement and LF was that Judgement had more AC and a little more stam.

OK, i looked all over the sight and havent been able to find anything that says WHERE to pick up the quests to get this gear. If someone could post that info it would be appreciated.

Also to above comments, I am ret spec'd and yes spell crit is a favorable stat, I have at least 5 main spells that benefit from it greatly. It's always nice to have that last minute save in a battle by dropping a SoC that crits for 1300, or the HoW, but I agrre that a good mix of agility is necessary in there also. Spells are probably about half of the dmg for a ret pally!

You get it from the cenarion area in Silithus, about level 60 the quests are i think. Pretty sure, not 100%

You get the quests For the Set as soon as you Reach to Natural Reputation with Brood of Nozdormu. The quests are obtainable In the Temple after you kill The Prophet Skeram.

Problem with the set is that it looks kinda ugly...

i would much rather have the judgement stuff than wear the avenger stuff...

i just took my 2nd questitem for avenger (have shoulders, now head)
i must say its not rly looking too great, but we had judgement as a real kickass looking set already ^^
now its other classes turns!
now this set is imba for pvp ;P
i already do 2.5k+ swing crits (1k weap crit, 1k soc crit, 500 proc crit from drake talon cleaver) and i do them quite often. now with this + a better weapon (gief dark edge y0 ^^) im sure ill get close to 3k or beyond swing crits ;P
also nice 5set bonus!
im currently replacing the sucky judgement pieces i still use in my pvp gear (legs to go)
