The Dreadmist Armor Set pieces drop from Stratholme, Scholomance, and Blackrock Spire (Both upper and lower).

Belt: Drops off of various mobs in Stratholme (Both Sides)
Bracers: Drops off of various mobs in LBRS
Leggings: Drops off of Baron Rivendare in Undead Stratholme
Mantle: Drops off of Jandice Barov in Scholomance
Robe: Drops off of General Drakkisath in UBRS
Sandals: Drops off of Baroness Anastari in Undead Stratholme
Mask: Drops off of Darkmaster Gandling in Scholomance
Wraps: Drops off of various mobs in Scholomance

Also, the Belt, Bracers, and Wraps are Bind on Equip, whereas everything else is Bind on Pickup.

The Bracers also drop in Upper Blackrock Spire, quite common among the first few rooms of Orcs there before the first boss.

Warlock Tier 0 Gear
This is actually one of the better tier 0 gears in overall quality for the class.
despite the spirit, the amounted stamina in this set is quite valuable, seeing as stamina is essentially intellect for warlocks. Definetly suggested to the casual gamer to pick this up before the upcoming expansion.

this argument is pointless the set is designed and benefits both the warlocks and shadowpriest bottom line...sure it helps shadowpriest cause they have more shadow spell but it's also the best set for a warlock(besides epics)so both classes should get to roll on it...warlocks so what if you have one other class for competition look at it as saying there was another warlock rolling against you it's a 50/50 chance...so grow up and stop complaining about us rolling...and if you do complain who do you think the group is gonna kick first the priest that keeps them alive or the warlock...and whoever says shadow priest cant heal is wrong,during instance runs shadow priest dont go into shadowform they stay in normal form to heal and they still can effectivly.Also they can still give the fort buff so no1 complains.I myself have been in 20+ groups for scholo,Strath,UBRS and not once had a group complain that i'm a shadow priest(and they all know cause i tell them and tell them if there's a lock i'm rolling on Dreadmist)and i know they dont complain cause i'm giving them the buff and keeping them alive...in all those groups i've seen 3 different warlocks booted from the group cause they complained and threw a fit cause i said i was gonna roll...which proves priest are more needed then warlocks...so warlocks your best bet is to not say anything and hope to win the roll(if there even is a shadow priest in the group which is rare at most times)So why argue over 2 classes rolling for somethine i mean it's stupid,half the time one or the other class isnt even present in the raid so it wouldnt matter.The only problem i have is mages that think they need this set,they can go to hell.Thats all i gotto say is it's warlock and shadow priest only and that it's not for warlocks only or blizz would make it or they wouldnt have took the warlock pet ability out now would they.

This set Is a warlock set It should with no doubt be Only warlock set ..cause pet skills on it. BTW does anyone got a screenshot of whole dreedmist set please show it .. thanks :D

It's 8am and I'm bloody tired atm. I was on a (mostly) guild Scholo run last night. I've got a 54 disc/holy priest and we were just mucking around doing a 9 man run. We had two warlocks, one who already had dreadmist gloves, other who didn't. I passed on it for him. The guy wasn't really that interested in collecting the set because he figured he could get better stats out of non-set items instead and was willing to give me the gloves. I told him to go look up these stats and start collecting instead of giving me the gloves :P

None of this means I don't want the set, I plan on going back to my old Shadow/disc build once I've collected most of the stuff I want out of instance runs, and I really would LOVE to have the dreadmist set over the devout for PvP. But it benefits warlocks more in my opinion. If a warlock needs a part of this set, there's no way in hell I'd roll against them for it. I'd expect the same if a piece of the devout set came up. The devout set will enable me to heal them better in the instance runs after all, but having the dreadmist set is something I WOULD like to have for when I go shadow again as I don't know if I'd be able to play enough keep my rank high enough to get to the good PvP sets.

Anyways, the dreadmist set looks MAD :) Devout looks kinda panzyish in comparison :) For asthetics in PvP, Dreadmist all the way :)

Well guys just to throw out my 2 cents, I am a level 60 lock on Zul`jin with the Hounds of war.I currently have 0 pieces of DM, having replaced the 2 I had with Felheart, now mind you I have 4 pieces of Felheart Do I care If a shadow spec Priest rolls against me�.NO

This is a game, I love my guildmates, and I love playing the game but not to the level of complaining about who gets what. I�ve been 60 for a while now, I�ve been in groups that have cleared XXXXX. Would it be nice to have all the dreadmist and then trade out as I get Felheart�.YES

But will I do so at the cost of my sanity��NO

So if I�m in a group with you, and I�m messing around in Sholo, and you roll on dreadmist and beat me�.

Like its been said before It�s a game, if you cant play well with others don�t play. You guys yelling and screaming about it should just make it known the minute you group. �Hey just to let you know I�m only running thru this to get X pieces of DM gear, who else is going to be rolling on it?� So that way when the shadow spec priest says �I will� you can drop, because we all know that the raid will take healers over a lock more often than not. Its not that we don�t play well, but a group without a healer is dead. A group with out a lock is missing a lock, but can still raid!

Again just my 2 cents��..

Alright. Before you read any further, please take the time to look over those links I just posted. Feel free to check each one to make sure I didn't make a mistake. If I did, I'll be sure to recheck the links and make sure that they're all good.

Did you check? Recheck? Good. Up until now, I've been reading up on why shadow priests have been rolling on our (Warlock) set. Basically, they love how we give them the shadow damage that make them feared PvPers (strangely, the only detailed reports of this phenomenon are only by their own kind.) They say that Devout is an overall pathetic set, which I am inclined to agree with. However, they use this as an excuse to roll on Dreadmist pieces. To them, the only way they can justify rolling on our set is if they have no other choice.

Well, shadow priests, here's your other choice.

Meet the Felcloth set. These items are made by high-level tailors. Although the set doesn't allow any bonuses to critical damage (I doubt there's a shadow priest with full Dreadmist anyway) it does offer a good amount of shadow damage. Let's tally:

Gloves: +33
Hood: +30
Pants: +26
Robe: +36
Shoulders: +26
Total: +151 Shadow Damage

Shadow priests like to mention that they're meant for PvP. That's the only reason why they chose to go down the Dark Side of the Force. Well, there you go. Now you don't have to roll on Dreadmist anymore. Leave us warlocks to our set. If the Warlock in your group/raid is gracious enough to let you have the Dreadmist piece, then I have no problem with that.

My point, though, is that shadow priests do not have to fight us for Dreadmist anymore. They don't have to argue over how the Warlock is a useless class and how the set is better suited to their own kind. They don't have to ninja anymore pieces from pick-up groups. They don't have to make wry commentary every time their DPS goes slightly higher than the Warlock in the group who stuck with Dreadmist.

Now they can go kindly screw themselves and make their own damn armour.

Having lost the robes to a priest i know what its like. But, here's how it should be. IF YOU ARE NOT SHADOW YOU SHOULD NOT GET THIS! I lost to a holy priest saying shed go shadow for pvp. i bet the robes are rotting in her bank. So for all you warlocks out there, we should always get first dibs. If i had lost to a shadow priest i wouldnt have been as mad, but losing dreadmist to a holy priest is just lame. i hope that priest accidentally d/es the robes. BTW, the priest was ml so she called the rules, and she was a guild leader. i talked to some of her x-guildies and they said they quit only because of her.

felheart is easier to obtain the dreadmist.

Molten Core raids are 95% of the time with 39 other people you know, trust, and can rely on.
Normally MC raids that are set up correctly have 1-2 other warlocks to compete with. Also with the new raid resets, you can run MC twice in a week; tuesday, then whatever day you want. Also, onyxia is cake once you get her down. My old guild was in and out of onyxia in 30 minutes. Now that can be done twice a week as well.

Also with 40 mans, you dont have to deal with stupid noob pickup groups. Get some gold, buy the BoE pieces of the DM set, get the extra Fire Resist, and go run molten core.

Dreadmist sucks, go felheart.

Ok.........this whole thing is stupid,
If you want shadow damage get Shadow-wieve or Felhcloth, IT has WAY more shadow damage than this set if shadow priests are after that stop $%^&*ing about this set and get those, although they don't have as good of stats but you can alsway get enchants. Stop stealing the warlocks set, and get one of those, yes i've had them both and they give way more shadow dmg bonus.

This is what the full set looks like minus the tabbard, our guild tabbard just happen to look great with the whole set :)

I agree that shadow priests should be able to get this set, ONLY if the warlock in the group agree's to letting them roll on it, or if they already have it. My girlfriend who plays a shadow priest is getting the set, and we're going to establish to all people in the group that she is rolling on the set before we take off.

I haven't found a complete set for my lock of dreadmist, but I must say I have some armor that I might not replace with dreadmist (even with the set bonuses) because it may be better for my character play style.

I don't always like looking like everyone else:

Yes I'd roll on the gear just to get it in case I wanted to wear a complete set, because it is warlock gear- but there are occasions where I would choose not to wear certain items and simply mix and match.

The fight over which class gets what should be left up to the master looter. Ask ahead of time what his policy is regarding handing out / rolling on armor. If he says anyone can roll including warriors druids, and hunters, you can decide at that point if you want to go on the quest instance or not.

Also if you DO NOT want to play in a group with a shadow priest- no one is making you go along. You can look for another group. However if the group mix of players favors having the shadow priest along, you might want to consider a join and go along.

I know master looters are uncommon in 5 man dungeons and easy instances - and in those cases people should speak ahead of time and find out what the other cloth wearers are planning on doing should item(s) from this set come up for a roll.

yeh yeh another thread from a lock saying boo over this set... its a lock set... cant believe how many blogs r on this thread compared to others "devout and magisters" have nada to say i cant believe a lck rolled over me for my devout bracers lol...... end game this helps any1 who researches their class knows this and to those who over roll a lock on a peice of this will now know they will have a hard time finding a grp when the lock they over rolled on has lvld and now finished searching for the set.... give it to lock end game rules and so does the set 2
