While you're adventuring in Hallowfall you'll probably kill creatures at the Sunless Strand and find a Gasping Fish which will start Gasping Plea.

Find the location marked on your map and you'll meet a Peculiar Fish for the Crushing Depths storyline (Tidal Charms,Voices from the Deep,Alluring Offer) that will eventually lead to Return to the Sea with the Fathom Incher reward.

Make sure you're not on a mount when you are supposed to throw the fish into the water. When I did the quests, the extra action buttons for Put Me in the Water and Put Me in the Water didn't show until I dismounted.

To get the Gasping Fish that starts this quest: This seem to drop while doing Tricks of the Dark, I didn't get the fish and my friend did. We had to drop the quest and pick it back up. You want to look for a special version of the Arathi Captive (they will have a little blue light behind them) while you are doing this quest and click on it. They will then become Kobyss Shadeshaper. Kill it to get the quest item drop.

For anyone unsure of how to place the fish in the water, it shows up on your "Extra Action Button" (which for me is in the middle of my screen between the name plates of myself and my target.)

Even though the item (Gasping Fish) shows "Use: Drop the fish in the water", right clicking it just says "You are already on that quest".

The Extra Action Button does not appear if you are mounted.

Please note you do NOT need to be in the Tricks of the Dark quest in order to loot this
That questline never appeared on my map even though I had everything else completed
But killing a random Kobyss Shadeshaper seemed to drop Gasping Fish fine for me.

Description
