If the extra action button does not show up when entering this world quest zone, check you bags for Technoscryers.

In the absence of an entry for the individual world quest I encountered (neither the wowhead search nor google can find it, as it appears),
this seems the best place for it:

Technoscrying: The Mysteries of the Concord Observatory
Some folks are talking about issues with the quest, but I didn't experience them, in the thread (official forum) HERE.

Landing in the area, I was able to immediately get started.
Zenata appeared to be marked, but didn't offer anything to me (my Technoscryers were in my bag).

She's meant to offer you another pair of goggles / Technoscryers, if something happened to yours.
She won't, if you have them somewhere (like your bank), according to the thread (official forum) HERE.

A War Mode switch was not needed for me. I was in a standard PvE setting, with War Mode off, and everything was fine.

Equip the Technoscryers in your bag, click the button to scry and get started.
Positions approximate / close (with Technoscryers used and scrying started):

/way 56.8 44.0 #1 Jar
/way 57.6 43.3 #2 Palette
/way 55.5 44.1 #3 Brush

Monday, 2-19-2024, 10:40 pm CST US this quest is not working. 1. items not in place, 2. when you find one you can't pick it up, 3. white guide light doesn't work properly, 4. only found one item and it wasn't where it was supposed to be - found it by accident. Put a bug note in, hope that fixes it.

The quest is not working. Stuck on 66%.

If the quest list doesn't give you a button to turn on the goggles then you can bring up the scrying mode via the chat command:

/use technoscryers

You do not have to have the goggles in your bag, or even own them at all (i destroyed mine long ago).

Meet Zenata at the Concord Observatory in Waking Shores.

Description

My dowsing rods have been pointing towards a set of Drakonid ruins atop a cliff in Waking Shores. I know not what we'll find, but it's never wise to question the whims of my inventions. They're always 97% correct. Always.
