You fight 3 waves of elementals: Fire, Water, and Earth:

Fire is 3 fire elementals all with the same hp
Water is one big elemental and a bunch of small ones
Earth is one big elemental that breaks down into smaller ones

The waves spawn immediately when the previous wave dies. If you drop combat via invisibility or some other means the whole event restarts.

How difficult this is will likely depend on your class. As a 335 (lvl 70) fire mage it was a pretty tough fight. I had to pull out all the tricks: mirror image, ice block heal, healing pot, kiting, and strategic use of dragon's breath. Your mileage may vary.

This quest puts you up against a gauntlet of 15 enemies back to back, split into element specific waves. Three fire elementals, seven water elementals, and five earth elementals in waves. Non-tank and especially caster classes are going to have a bad time if unprepared, as there is no downtime between the waves and you cannot drop combat.

Hi all

I present You Storyline Elder Nazuun. This Storyline is part of Sojourner of Ohn'ahran Plains which is criteria for Loremaster of the Dragon Isles.

Quests in order I done:

1a. Land of the Apex - Collect:
- 2 Thunderspine Scale - Drop from Thunderspine Crasher around 50.64 50.85
- 10 Shadespinner's Web - Go cave 43.58 48.03 is drop from Spider Eggs and Rustfang Creeper ( is not droping from small spiders )
- 2 Slyvern Talon - Drop from Nimblewing Striker or Nimblewing Slyvern you can find it out side cave.
1b. Signs of the Wind - Collect 8 Wind Tokens You can get them from Hollow Reeds ( grass next to water ) or Avian Feather on the stones. all around 47.89 51.47.
3. Himia, the Blessed - Speak with Himia, The Blessed then kill all mobs come out.
4. Rellen, the Learned - Go to cave /way 40.36 57.39 and press on Offering BasketThen go one by one:
- Press on Torch ( on left from basket ) then use on spider by pressing extra bar.
- Press on spear ( on right from basket ) then use on middle animal by pressing extra bar.
- Press on bow ( on right from basket ) then use on last animal by pressing extra bar.
5. The Nokhud Offensive: The Final Ancestor - You need to go Dungeon The Nokhud Offensive and slay Balakar Khan to loot Medallion of the Ancestors, i done it on mithic difficult. After this Quest Storyline will finish.

TIP FOR THOSE STRUGGLING SOLO

Easy for some classes, very hard or perhaps impossible for others. Getting help is by far the easiest option, but it is possible to exploit this quest as follows:

UPDATED 21/03/2023 WITH BETTER REPRO STEPS

1. When the first wave fire elementals spawn, run away to the NORTH WEST. Single out and hit the closest mob to maintain its aggro, but DO NOT KILL IT.
2. When you get far enough away, the other two fire elementals will lose interest and return to their spawn points. STOP RUNNING and drag the mob you are fighting back toward the standing stones a little way.
3. After a few seconds, the other two fire elementals will despawn on their own. You can now kill the one you are fighting, which will trigger the wave of water elementals.
4. If you have run in the correct direction (in line with the row of small water elementals), two or three of the small water elementals should aggro on you, but not the big one. It's still doable if they do all aggro though.
5. As with steps 1 and 2, you want to single out just one of the elementals and tap it occasionally to keep its interest while running away. When the rest return to their spawn point, follow them back and wait for them to despawn before killing the one you are fighting.
6. You now have a few seconds to heal/eat/stealth before tackling the Earth elemental.

I couldn't do this on my hunter. Paladin had no problem. Self-heals and shields, just Word of Glory and Shield of Vengeance got me through it. No lay hands.

this fight makes me feel so incapable lol. so far of my 70's (f warr, arcmage, mm hunter, assassin rogue | did the quest on each under 70) they've all struggled and needed every life-saving ability in the kit to win. on my rogue, i attempted the other comment's suggestion of running west in the first wave til they lose interest, keeping aggro on one fire elemental. that did work for me but not how the comment described. i killed the one that stayed on me, pulled the second and killed it alone, and the third disappeared as the second wave started immediately. used indiscriminate carnage on that wave to get em out fast so i'd start the third wave (large earthen) with near full hp. he was no problem. his adds however were starting to hit pretty hard, but i noticed the quest had already marked as complete before i killed his adds. i vanished instead of fighting those and all went well, hopefully that works for anyone struggling. i believe i feigned for the final 3 adds as well on hunter and it worked.

Questing the storyline, both toons hit this quest at 67 ilvl 270 or so. Especially for the squishy toon, theres just no way. You need help or skip and come back at 70 with well over 300 gear.

Couldn't manage this on a subtlety rogue. I could just get past the first wave, but then was severely depleted in health for the second. And when you die you start again at the beginning! I can see it's doable with the strategy given above, but it's a largely pointless effort for a measly 8200xp.

I tried this on my lvl 66 balance druid and had to shadowmeld on the second wave at 10% health. I know my limits. Even my trees wouldn't be effective because they have a one minute cooldown. I will just come back later when I'm max level and geared.

Other quests like this with waves of enemies usually have a break in between each wave.

Just skip this quest if you can't defeat them.. nobody cares about Maruuk rep anyway.
