You have to specifically Activate the first conduit on Pelagos' conduit tree: Let Go of the Past.

Can't activate the conduit without a spec, it seems, since I have no mastery... or is there any other bug preventing me from activating the conduit? Anyone else had this problem? I cannot finish the quest since nothing happens when I click "activate".

If you are using Move Anything, or another addon that changes the size of windows in the interface, try turning the addon OFF. The "activate" button is there at the very bottom of the conduit window.

Activate a Soulbind Power using the Forge of Bonds.

Description

To bond souls is but the first step. You must now explore its potential. Just as Pelagos will gain strength from you, so too shall you grow from him. As your bond grows over time you will touch deeper into one another's souls, and so your strength shall increase. All you must do is place your hand upon the Forge of Bonds to augment your bond. There is no price to pay--the only limitation is your connection to our sacred covenant.
