In case you are wondering why you can't click on the sparklies on the ground, it's because you have to click on the charm item that shows immediately to the right of your quest. In case an addon blocks it, open your bags and right-click the charm in your bag (as of 8/14/2018, one day after launch, some addons are not yet all updated and may interfere).

Fair warning, once you destroy enough of the witch's forces, your attack abilities will be switched off, so make sure you're not low on health or miles away from the signal point before finishing off the forces. The signal point is in the northwest.

2. Odds and Ends	Marten Webb - You need to collect 4 Organic Matter Sample ( drop from Timber Mongrel) and 3 Bag of Reagents( drop from Hexwood Seer). Mobs are on northeast	Marten Webb
3. Saving Master Ashton	Inquisitor Cleardawn - You need to free Warren Ashton He is not far but at first you need to get Cage Key that is droping from Hexwood Binder.	Inquisitor Cleardawn
4. A Little 'Pick Me Up'	Marten Webb - Speak with Warren Ashton to give him potion.	Warren Ashton

11. Stick It To 'Em!	Inquisitor - Use Greater Control Charm to control Crimsonwood Demolisher that thing standing next to chamber entrance. WTF! Stick It To 'Em! AFTER you kill the required number of mobs, they take your ability to defend, kill the mobs away from you and you’re left with a 10 second RUN through ALL of these mobs. Then you’re told, go northwest. Really? Northwest, um any place northwest in particular or just northwest? Of course, the mobs can hit and kill the vehicle you’re in and suddenly you find yourself in the middle of hundreds (it seems) of mobs, three of which are elites that wasn’t that easy to kill during the quest chain when all you had to kill was them.

So, unless you’ve done this before and KNOW this is going to happen, station yourself at the turn in point before finishing your quota, or plan to die. Of course, that presupposes you know where the turn in point is in the first place. which, by the way, is located at /way 19.33 50.81. And a good place to station the vehicle is /way 19.73 52.37 (just down the hill but I don't think that large thing will make it up the hill and that's a short run. Rock throwing distance.

I’ve said it before, I’ll keep saying it. Blizzard programmers, regardless of what they say, screw with the players. Especially the casual player who doesn’t care to be top notched geared, or ran through these things during Alpha and Beta so they KNOW what’s going to happen.

Seriously, why take away our ability to kill the mobs while in the vehicle before we’re ready to exit the vehicle? One reason, screw with the players. No other reason makes any kind of logical sense. Honing our ability to run away from a ton of mobs?

For me, the actual quest overlapped with the world quest version. As soon as I killed the quota, it dismounted me in the midst of a small mob. Of course, I was forever away from either the golem or the turn-in, but I made a mad dash back to the golem, figuring it'd be the safer way to continue. Nope. The occasional "sprint" (wasted from getting stuck on road-side fences) doesn't seem to do much good. If the Drust are willing to fix this, I'm going to join forces with them. Sorry everyone I've just saved, but you're going to be sacrificed if it means the bugs are ironed out.

I couldn't mount any of the gryphons at the end (clicking them did nothing), so I had to ride to Arom's Stand manually. I was still able to turn in the quest.

I too experienced the gryphons being bugged at the end but after a few minutes and numerous attempts I was finally able to mount one of the gryphons.

There have been a number of comments about the griffon flight stage of the quest being bugged.(It was for me as well.)
Instead of doing the longer ride back to Arom's Stand, consider rather taking the shorter route north to Anyport and use the FP to get to Arom's Stand.
You'll have to fight a few npcs in the port, but as far as I'm aware there's nothing special required to unlock the FP.
So it may be a quicker option.

I think I found a way to make this work. You should still have the icon on screen for the fiery liquid you throw at the wooden contructs. I found that by throwing it, select it and choose an area away from all the npcs, as soon as I had thrown it I then was able to mount the Waycrest Guard’s Mount without a problem. No idea why though."

Yup...the gryphons are still bugged as of today (19th May 2020).

Reloading the UI or exiting the game didn't seem to help. But, once I logged back in, I literally just went afk for a 2-3 minutes at the spot and it automagically worked.

So....yeah.

The gryphons fix themselves exactly 5 minutes after you ask Inquisitor Cleardawn to send the signal. At the 5 minute mark, gryphons 2, 3, and 4 will phase, and 2 and 4 will become non-interactable. You can tell they are "ready" when only gryphon 3 is interactable.

I've tested this quest like 20 times tonight and I personally found no correlation with anything else I tested.

Things I tried that had no effect:
- reloading, relogging, and relaunching WoW
- using the Throw Liquid Fire ability before clicking a gryphon and before talking to Inquisitor Cleardawn, thrown both away from NPCs/gryphons and at them (via Ishmalara in eadierlam421's comment)
- killing the exact amount of Witch Forces needed and no more
- killing the last required Witch Forces within the Crimsonwood Demolisher auto-exit area at the northwestern ridge
- triggering the auto-exit while the Demolisher was in combat, not in combat, at full health, and not at full health
- using only the Demolisher's Slam ability, ignoring Stomp and Speed Up
- manually exiting the Demolisher before entering the auto-exit area
- clicking gryphon 1 while it was still interactable (this is the only gryphon that phases correctly, and becomes non-interactable once it lands)
- mounting and dismounting while gryphons were bugged
- talking to Inquisitor Cleardawn, Warren Ashton, and Marten Webb between clicking the gryphons
- clicking all four gryphons multiple times
- clicking one gryphon repeatedly (I gave up after 60 failed clicks)
- clicking none of the gryphons (still phase automatically after 5 minutes)

On an unrelated note, be careful abandoning and redoing Stick It To 'Em! after the gryphons have fixed themselves. If you do so without taking the debugged gryphon to Arom's Stand, you're likely to get disconnected a few times when you try to take control of the Crimsonwood Demolisher. Abandoning and redoing Stick It To 'Em! while the gryphons are still bugged, or after taking the fixed gryphon to Arom's Stand, will avoid this.

This was my first time doing this quest, but it's apparently such a rampant bug that I'm surprised it hasn't been fixed yet...

Edit: To add further details, I was in Warmode, and as I recall there was no assault active in Drustvar at the time.

With my hs on cd, and gryphon bugged. I decided to just grab the fp at Anyport and fly back to Arom's Stand instead of waiting for the gryphon to work.

This is still bugged. If you're not able to activate the griffons, don't drop the quest in the hope of resetting them because you'll have to redo the entire vehicle section. You can just take the flight point from Anyport to Arom's Stand.

I don't know if they fixed it or I just got lucky but I was able to mount the gryphon at the end of the quest today (12/2/21) and got taken back to Arom's Stand!
