That's a very selective recruitment process! In-depth interviews and evaluations, all in less time than it would take to toss a coin over the decision. Just kidding, must be judging by eye color or something...

If there are a lot of players around, find a spawn point and just stand and wait.

"The new recruits are lingering in the camp just outside the chapel" They are outside, right in front of Light's Hope Chapel, don't be like me who was looking for them inside :D

Two things that really helped.

1) Group up (use WQGF or just ask to join a group).
2) Stand at a spot where they spawn and spam this macro. Note that sometimes the recruit ends up being an enemy that you have to kill.

Exit the Chapel by going up the stairs on the south-west side of the sanctum. There will be recruits scattered around the field. Use the extra action button on them.

The quest isn't really clear on this point - you can only judge recruits that are standing still. If they are moving - someone already tagged them.

This is the first quest of quest chain to recruit new Paladin follower - Nerus Moonfang.
Before you can pick up this questline, you have to pick up Champions of Legionfall from Maiev Shadowsong on the Broken Shore.
Chain starts from Judgment Awaits in Last Hope's Chapel, pick it up from Lady Liadrin.

You have to go out of class hall to the Chapel's yard. There you'll see Silver Hand Recruit npcs.
Using extra button will judge them and if they aren't disguised demons, npcs will thank you, else slay the demon.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME! I abandoned my "Judgement Awaits" quest! and possible the champions of legionfall because I cant find either of them now! What do i do?

Due to phasing, recruits may not show up. Go outside the main gate and there's a single spawn point with 2 you can camp. 2-3 min respawn

I don't know about you, but the recruit that just stood there while the demon popped out and wailed on me was not worthy.

You need to pick up a quest on the Broken Shore that leads to this quest. It would not have been there if you had not completed the class campaign when Broken Shore became available.

The fact this quest is turned in at Delas Moonfang instead of the quest giver is not explained at all in the quest and thus a bit confusing. Sure I know what they wanted to do here story-wise, but it lacks additional fleshing out.

The blue circle on your minimap indicates that you should go up the stairs. There are lots of recruits outside.

So, this quest is not showing up for me. I have the Champions of Legionfall quest, but when I go to my order hall Lady Liadrin doesn't have a quest for me. Does anyone have an idea of what I'm missing?

If you are here for the mounts, you need to complete these and following 41-46 quests from above list. Then you get the Follower for the Champion of Legionfall quest. Once that is complete, paladin NPC on broken shore offers you a new quest.
