If you find yourself stuck without the frozen trough appearing, just go out of the store then back again and it should work correctly.

For this quest you need to:

1. Make 2x Leystone Slag
2. Make 2x Hard Leystone Bar
3. Make 2x Heated Hard Leystone Bar
4. Make 1x Dull Hard Leystone Armguards
5. Make 1x Hard Leystone Armguards

During Dragonflight pre-patch quests were bugged. You have learned required quest crafting spells, but as you opened your spell book the spells did not show up.
I found alternative trough /run scripts.
For this case, I've looked up Wowhead for specific spell IDs and with those I got the spells I needed. By running /run PickupSpell() I got the spell and was able to put it on my action bar.
Down is a list for all required crafts:

Leystone Slag/run PickupSpell(184181)
Hard Leystone Bar/run PickupSpell(184182)
Heated Hard Leystone Bar/run PickupSpell(184183)
Dull Hard Leystone Armguards/run PickupSpell(184184)
Hard Leystone Armguards/run PickupSpell(184185)

Craft a pair of Hard Leystone Armguards for Alard.
