It's worth mentioning that he's outside, in Black Rook Hold, in Val'sharah. Not inside the Black Rook Hold instance.

Fly to Bradenbrook flight point, Val'shara (42.2, 58.5). Ride out the town's west entrance, along the path, until it forks at Merl's Steed (39.9, 60.3). Take the rightmost path across a river and up a hill, where you'll see Black Rook Hold (the building, not the dungeon). Take the staircase all the way up (not the ramp to its right), across a courtyard, down some stairs at on the other side at 41, 53, and you should see the mob and forge you need on your minimap (42, 52). You turn the quest in to Saris Swifthammer, in the courtyard up the steps you just came down, at 39.9, 54.7.

Tomtom waypoints:

/way 42.2 58.5 Bradenbrook flight point
/way 39.9 60.3 Take right at Merl's Steed, up hill, up stairs
/way 41.0 53.0 Down stairs
/way 42.0 52.0 The mob and forge objectives
/way 39.9 54.7 Turn in at to Saris

This quest starts with Alard Schmied in Dalaran at level 108. The Quick Facts did not provide enough information.

was in a quee for 45 minutes. look and look in the whole dungeon. screamed slayed evrything. then i read the comments here :p feelsbadman

When you complete Saris' tasks, don't hearth back to Dalaran yet! Remember to grab the book next to him! Many of us have had to return to Black Rook Hold a second time because we didn't read the fine print, only to find that the quest "?" is still gray because we didn't grab the book. At least I won't repeat this error on my blacksmith on the other faction.
