Ty'thar has a very distinct fighting style, and as part of his agreement with the Brawler's Guild, you have to follow his rules:

- Face-to-face fist fighting. No running around.

- Three knockdowns wins the fight.

This is exactly like the game Punch-Out like Buckmoney said, which may be a nod to Mike Tyson for his name, Ty'thar; Also the movement when you knock him out is identical.
The fight is fairly easy, instead of using the arrows keys, (or whatever you use) to move, you instead dodge. His abilities will indicate what arm he is throwing; Make sure to dodge them, 3 hits and you lose. If he throws left, move to the right, vice versa, and if he stomps move back. You must kill him 3 times before you get hit 3 times or the berserk timer kicks in. After every knockdown, he has less hp, so just DPS him while avoiding the punches.
Tip: Don't dodge right away, wait until the cast bar is almost full, otherwise you may dodge too early and get hit by it. It takes a little practice, but a easy fight nonetheless.

As others have said, mechanically this fight is equivalent to the game Punch-Out. Dodge left/right/back while doing the fight with your strafe and back keys.

I just wanted to post to say don't worry about his enrage timer, as someone struggling to maintain ~100k dps on the rank 8-10 fights to beat the enrage, Ty'thar went down in about a minute. Very easy as long as you do the mechanics right.

I just completed the fight, with the quest in my log, without being in a raid, and I didnt get credit. Anyone else had similar problems?

Fight itself is fairly easy, your biggest enemy will be your ability to think backwards of what the boss' abilities says :p

You need Raptorhide Boxing Gloves in order to challenge Ty'thar.
You can buy them from the Dark Spear Quartermaster near Razor Hill and it will cost you 1 Radical Mojo. You can get this mojo once a week by doing the quest called Battlefield: Barrens.

Ty’thar is a boxing match. It’s game over if he manages to punch you 3 times. Before he attacks you will see a cast bar with an arrow icon. That arrow indicates the direction that you need to move which is either left,right or backwards. Don’t immediately push that direction, wait until the castbar is about halfway, otherwise you’ll move back in position and you’ll still get hit. Other than that it’s dpsing him down before the brawlers enrage timer.

The easyest way to avoid kicks is to press the same buttons as you see at the Ty'thar's castbar. There is 3 arrows that mean 3 directions: left, right and down. It's so simple.

Easiest way I found is go to your Options then Keybindings; set Strafe Left to your left arrow key, and strafe right to your right arrow key. Now keep your left hand on W/A/S/D and do your rotation, and use your right hand to press the arrows so you don't psyche yourself out

I defeated this boss 3 times before getting credit for the kill. It seems that if you kill the boss while you're knocked back you don't get credit.

This card is obtained by spending a Radical Mojo at Ravika for the item Raptorhide Boxing Gloves. Afterwards, accept the quest obtained from the item, and deliver them to Card Trader Leila/Card Trader Ami inside the brawl pub. You will then get the quest Ty'thar for a one-time reward of a Undisputed Champion's Shirt, a Giant Sack of Coins aswell as 50 Valor Points after you've defeated him.

Against logical thought, the tactics for the boss is the following:

You'll be able to attack the boss at all times (Except when stunned), but your movement is limited. The boss features three unique abilities. When he cast them the following should be done:

Right Hook -> Move -LEFT-
Left Hook -> Move -RIGHT-
Slam -> Move -BACK-

I found it usefull to look at the portrait of the spell to see which direction I should go in.

Once you defeat him, he will be knocked back into the wall. He will then recover, attacking you once more. He will do this, until you've killed him 3 times.

Move in same direction as the arrows that pop up (zoom your camera in so it's easier to see). Continue to DPS him. You need to kill him 3 times to win. Easy fight but badly geared alts won't be able to beat the timer.

The shirt gives the buff Brawling Champion with a 'Undisputed' buff description, similar to the affects of Precious' Ribbon.

Easy boss. The easiest way to avoid all kicks is to move to the same side from what Tythar is going to kick. More detailed on video:

Use the A,S & D buttons to avoid moves. If you have macro'd S to another function you could have a problem :-)

as I want to get the Deck Your Collection (Season 1) and the quest is no longer available

The quest should drop from level 90 mobs in the Northern Barrens.

I can confirm you get Raptorhide Boxing Gloves from killing level 90 mobs in Northern Barrens

This guy glitches out if you die and have snakes out as hunter. He attacks the snakes and you never get teleported out and have to logout/exit game.

Don't be an idiot like me and only look at the icon of the spell - the arrow is opposite of which arm he's swinging (left hook, arrow points right, etc). After failing this twice thinking that something was wrong, I proceeded to apply my palm to my face.

So you can still get this brawl if you do randoms but he's bugged, if you enter the brawl with your back facing the boss, the kill wont count towards Deck your Collection (season 2) achievement for the epic shirt
