If you talk to Tak-Tak while on this quest he will have an option to "Take me to Dalaran" (typo is in-game, should be Darnassus) which will prompt the following conversation:

Tak-Tak says: I'm not flying a kite to Darnassus, wikket. I don't even know where that is! Take that portal over there.

Funny thing is that this portal does not take you to any sort of special phased Teldrassil/Darnassus. So if you are looking to do a For The Horde or capture any of the battle pets there this will save you having to take the boat from Stormwind. It will drop you off just outside the back gate.

This one confused me at first becasue I kept getting attacked.

If you have a pet get rid of it, they agro PVP.

Once inside, you will see that you can get pretty close to people. Head towards the helper dot on your map.

Avoid going between the houses and make your way to the lake for the path of least resistance.

There is a tree you are looking for which is very close to the edge of the lake.

You want to go downstairs into the tunnel. Follow it around and you will see a ledge you can jump off and be placed right in front of the bell.

Click the charm and you are safely ported back.

Good comments, all - I'd like to add my own experience. I hope it will help.

First of all, the portal is not where the gossip TakTak is. It's down the little hill where the flight master lives. The portal will drop you off just outside the gates of Darnassus. Speak to the blood elf at the portal destination, and they will stealth you - but they won't help, probably because they're cowards and happy to let YOU do the difficult work. They are in a sheltered location that reminds me of how they shelter the groups of blood elves in the Isle of Thunder, if you've done some of those quests. It's like a curtain of sparkles.

Anyways....

You are stealthed and there is a big circle around you. Remember that anything breaching your circle can see you. And they will attack. Not so bad if it's just one or two, but more than that, and you've got issues. You also get a little special button that allows you to "hearth" back to your original location once every 60 seconds.

Your "stealth circle" will not allow you to just walk into the opening into Darnassus without alerting one or both of the guards who are stationed by each side of the arch. What I did was get outside the arch that opens into Darnassus and I took out one of the guards. That circle of stealth is wider than the arch. Each guard is only about 585k health, unlike the guardians (the tree NPC's) which are 787k each. Yes, you will be flagged, but that's not terrible for this quest since you're phased. That means the only people in Darnassus are NPCs and not actual players.

Once you hit something and go into combat, your stealth is gone. Then everyone can see you, so you'll need to reapply your stealth. Wipe out one of the guards under the arch (the two are not linked) and hearth back to your original location. Get your stealth circle back by chatting with the cowardly blood elf. Return to where you killed the guard, hug the side of the arch without a guard (the empty space where the one you killed was) and you will just be able to sneak through.

There are quite a few NPC's in Darnassus. I got antsy, so instead of trying to navigate the whole town and take the chance of having to do this whole thing again, I got myself into the water. There are no NPCs here, so you're free to swim to the area of the Bell's location. I jumped into the water by the Craftsman's and Warrior's Terrace area. I just hugged the edge of the water and kept the shore on my right...if I jumped in at 5:00 on a clock, I exited around 1:00. I made sure that my "stealth circle" didn't clip any random NPC's sitting by the shore. Look at your minimap for the goal location and aim your hordy butt that way.

Once on land, go into the tree. Be aware for a few patrolling NPCs, but there's not too many. Enter the tree (yeah, I know...stupid night elves and their weird architecture) follow the tunnels down. I jumped down a level to avoid a pat, and it wasn't too far down before I could see the Bell in an alcove to my left. It's not in the middle of the room or anything...look in the little nooks & crannies of the tree to find it. The bell is pretty big, however, so you can't miss it.

The good part is that once you find the Bell, click on the cog and it will take you back to your original cowardly blood elf group. There's a portal back to Domination Point, and you can tell ol' Nazgrim that it's done.

Just a reminder if you happen to be doing this quest line now - use the opportunity to grab Music Roll: Shalandis Isle from the High Priestess' Reliquary, which is located across from Tyrande on the top floor of the Temple of the Moon. You should be able to escape unscathed with the spell the quest provides and then go back for the Divine Bell.

Stuck getting ported to Darkshore because Darnassus cannot be reached in BFA?

To finish this quest in BFA you need to talk to Zidormi 48.8, 24.4 in Darkshore.
She can phase the 'old' Darnassus back in place so you can finish this quest.
(same as what happens in Silithus now)

After that you can take the portal from Dominance point or just fly over the sea.

When you're finished talk to her again to put the current (BFA) Darnassus back.

After I complete "The Ruins of Korune" questline, Nazgrim had no quest for me (I was at 14300 rep).

My solution:
1. I bought 1x "Grand Commendation of the Dominance Offensive" (I was doing this rep during Pandaria timewalking) - I was at 15000 rep then
2. relog my character
3. "Insertion" quest showed up

This might be a solution for those who does not see any quests at Domination Point after they finish Korune = just increase your reputation somehow.

There are several Dominance Offensive campaign quests you need to do. They are all in an effort to find the Divine Bell for Garrosh, and you need to be Exalted to complete them all.
For most, you will need to fly to the objective area by speaking to Tak-tak. Each will award a breadcrumb of progress toward an achievement.

The first is finding Lor'themar in Valley of the Four Winds
You then turn it in and go find Baine.
After that you get sent to Silvermoon to help with an artifact,
Next one is back to Baine in Kun-Lai The Kun-Lai Expedition
Then back to Kun-Lai for "The Ruins of Korune
Followed by "Insertion" For this one, don't break your stealth buff by using ANY abilities. The bell is at the bottom of the Cenarion Enclave tree
"The Situation In Dalaran" comes next where you evacuate Sunreavers from Jaina's rather violent exile announcement
Once you've escaped Dalaran, its off to "The Bell Speaks" to finish things off and get your Grand Wyvern

For pet classes: dismiss your pet first. the guards will attack your pet, which will then knock you out of stealth.
