Although mount addons and macros might flag this zone as "noflying" during the duration of this quest. You can still manually cast your mounts spells.

After completing this quest you will get an in-game mail from Vol'jin with the subject "Darkspear Never Die" with the following text:

"My friend-

Garrosh tried to off me with a dagger to the throat. But I got me something more powerful than assassin's poison. I got friends. Chen Stormstout, Thrall... We been through worse.

I need to lie low for a while, get me head together. Chen is taking me to the Shado-Pan Monastery to heal.

Meantimes, I need you to stay close to Garrosh. Keep your eyes open. Find out what he got going on. Dangerous. But I know you can handle yourself. I seen it with me own eyes.

- Vol'jin"

Although the quest text suggests that Thrall will meet you at Darkspear Hold to help fight Gul'tar the Subjugator, he'll never show up. You need to defeat Gul'tar the Subjugator, and Thrall will be outside the hut after the fight. If your worried about Gul'tar the Subjugator HP, don't be...
...You'll get help in the fight from a few Rebellious Darkspear Watchers.

This quest was so very satisfying to do as a troll. On the other hand, Thrall must think I'm a complete noob because he says at the end:

"Please , do not tell Garrosh what we have done here today."

These guys don't spawn very fast - so if a person or two just did this quest, you might have some difficulty finding some dudes to kill.

Overseer's "Wild Cleave" ability is super easy to avoid if you're ranged DPS - backstep and they will swing wildly at the air while you laugh from two whole feet away blasting their face.

Gul'tar the Subjugator will cast a disease on you that will slow your Haste by a huge margin - but he's not very threatening damage-wise.

Gul'tar is found in the lower South-East corner of the island

When you fight Gul'tar drag a Overseer or two into the fight. They are easy to avoid their damage and when they die your troll friends get their weapon, increasing their damage by a lot.

Troll with axe > troll with fist.

At the completion of the quest there are three kneeling captured Kor'kron in front of Thrall when he gives his speech. They seem to have different dialogue options based on race, I did it as an orc and was called a traitor and a disgrace to my race, and asked "Have you forgotten what it means to be an orc?"
I assume the conversation is different for other Horde races, can anyone confirm?

FYI - if you somehow managed to accidentally leave the Thrall zone, you can use party sync with a character on the "Find Thrall" quest to get back in. Just leave party once you're back in Durotar.

EDIT: This quest will now give you vol'jin's hearthstone when you pick it up.

Defeat 10 Kor'kron Overseers, 5 Kor'kron Subjugators, and Gul'tar the Subjugator.

Description

The Kor'kron have been trained to be the finest, most loyal soldiers of the Warchief. Their presence here means that Garrosh fears an uprising.

Vol'jin and his people are as much a part of the Horde as any orc.

We must break this occupation and free the trolls. It pains me to say this, but you must eliminate enough of the Kor'kron so that the trolls can retake their city. Then meet me at Darkspear Hold so we might challenge their officer directly.
