Search the wooded area around the entrance of Sik'vess Lair (47,79). The "cages" are tall skinny orange crystal-looking things that look nothing like cages, and there aren't a lot of them. Each is guarded by at least one bug man, so pick up Thinning the Sik'thik while you're at it. I suspect Restless Leng always spawns from the 8th and last cage, as he did for me.

I found less competition for cages in the southernmost area of Sik'vess Lair.

If you, like me, thought "where the heck is Leng!" then do not fear.

confirmed, always pops out on the 8th cage you search so basically just pursue the other quests and tag cages as you go along. currently leveling my 3rd 90 and its been the same deal each time. happy leveling..

I'm not sure if its just me, but make sure your turn down the sound effects down while breaking those cages. The first time I broke a cage I almost fell off my chair because the sound effect for this one is really disturbing.

Description

One of my best scouts, Restless Leng, went missing during a mission on the other side of Sik'vess. I'm hopeful that he was captured rather than killed, but with the mantid corrupted so heavily by sha, it doesn't seem likely.

Still, can you investigate the cages around Sik'vess? I owe him a more thorough search than even this, but I have no men to spare without allowing our southern lines to break.

Please, <class>, even if there's no life left in him, find him that I might know his fate.
