I remember doing this quest a few years ago and nearly pulling out my hair in frustration while riding around Feralas (on the original level 40 standard (i.e. slow) mount) trying to find any of the only three Wandering Forest Walkers in the entire zone.

Imagine my immense relief when, upon questing in this zone once again, I found that the Shattering seems to have summoned up dozens and dozens of these wooden spirits. To whoever at Blizzard decided to make this change: THANK YOU!

now it much better, you can find these mobs (Wandering forest walker) together with Corrupted Dryad for same quest

I found that the best place to find these guys are right outside of The tower of Estulan. If you can`t find it on the map it is next to the cave with the Feral Scar Yetis. I found at least six or seven here so no need to search around for single mobs here and there.

Description

The wandering forest walkers that can be found meandering through the forest are our next target, <name>. Night elves have enlisted treants as allies to fight against the horde. Their movement may be slow, but their role as protectors is undeniable.

Soon we will be able to use this power for our own benefit.

Find three wandering forest walkers; kill them, and use the muisek vessel to shrink and capture them.
