The ancestral grounds begin at around 28,60. There's a bonfire that can be used for cooking within the complex at 25,59.

It will be necessary to take out a few spectral orcs to get to the bonfire, probably 7 or 8 at most.

Kill the Cleafhoof which easily around nagrand, you'll get the meat. Go to Ancestral Grounds in Nagrand, 25,59. Open your cooking skill and cook 4 roasted clefthoof. Then click the cooking pot near the bonefire given by the NPC.

For the ones without a coordination addon: The Ancestral Grounds are right below the Forge Camps on the western edge of Nagrand. It is the icon below them that has no text at it's side, it is left of Aeris Landing (http://www.wowhead.com/?maps=3518:261598)

You should always and always choose Barrel of Fish, as it has some chance of containing Furious Crawdad(best tanking food, worth nice gold too)!

If you are cooking, you don't absolutely need the bonfire in the Ancestral Grounds, you can also use your own campfire while on the edge of the same zone (no mobs).

You can create a Basic Campfire anywhere in the Ancestral Grounds area and cook this as well.

The smaller fires in metal braziers cannot be used for cooking. Rats.

Clefthoof Meat drops quite often from the Crate of Meat rewards for this quest. I always cook it up and keep a couple stacks in the bank for this quest. Saves a ton of time. Make sure that you pick up the new Nagrand daily as well if you happen to get this quest, as they're practically in the same place.

Persistent people plagued by the plight of - yeeeaah enough consonance there. People that are still doing the Outland cooking daily quests in hopes of getting that last recipe for The Outland Gourmet may want to start choosing the Barrel of Fish over the Crate of Meat now. Sure the drop rates for recipes like Stormchops seem to be more common in the Crate of Meat, but who is to say that was just biased towards people that wanted meat to cook over fish to cook for the buffs they respectively give.

Now why would I say that you should choose this one now? Well not only have I gotten recipes from this as living proof, but with the nerfed amount of gold these old school dailies do, getting the occasional Goldenscale Vendorfish out of the barrel has proven to make it more worthwhile than that of what you would get from the Crate of Meat, especially considering that the food that can be cooked from either container does not sell for nearly as much as it did back when BC was the current expansion. Just my two cents. :)

It would seem that you need a certain level of Kurenai rep to be able to talk to the NPC that sells the Roasted Clefthoof recipe. I'm currently unfriendly, gonna work on that now and post how much rep you will actually need.

I'm not sure if my two runs at this were bugged or not but it didn't consume ANY of the clefthoof meat I gathered (1 for the record). Even after I was done I still had the original chunk I started with.

It wouldn't be a concern to any other race I imagine, but if you playing an orc, esspecially an orc shaman, wouldn't this quest kinda be like stepping on your ancestors?

This is the only daily I'm missing for the Outland cooking achievements. It's been the better part of two months, and the one time I've seen it, I didn't do it out of laziness. Given that I haven't seen it pop up since (and have instead culled the Skettis Kaliri population seven times over), it's ironic proof that laziness doesn't really pay off.

If you have a flying mount you can dodge all the orcs and fly behind one orc and just use the bonfire. if your level isn't high enough you'll probably have to kill only one orc.

Now that there's 2 achievements for raw/uncooked fish looted/caught (The Limnologist The Oceanographer), the Barrel of Fish is what I usually choose in hopes of finding the elusive Goldenscale Vendorfish for The Limnologist + other fish from the barrel count toward these.

To do this quest you must obtain clefthoof meat (presumably from killing a few clefthoofs), then cook the meat, then cook the soup while still in the Ancestral Grounds. There is a bonfire there or you can use your own fire.

Note 1: You only have to be 275 to get the quest, but you have to be 325 to cook the clefthoof meat to add to the soup. If you are not cooking lvl 325, buy the roasted clefthoof meat before you go to the Ancestral Grounds.

Note 2: If you are lvl 325 and do not have the recipe for roasted clefthoof meat, you can get it from Uriku (alliance, http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=20096) or Nula (horde, http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=20097). These NPCs also have a few other recipes you can purchase.

for ppl like me that started cooking in cata and fast lvl the skill u prolly dont have the recepy for roasted clefthoof . A vendor sells it in nagrand Uriku .

you can also get roasted clefthoof recipe from Nula the Butcher cords are 58.1,35.7 in Nagrand in Garadar.

Guide to this mission HORDE:
1) We must have the recipe: Recipe: Roasted Clefthoof the Nula the Butcher got to that found in a hut in Garadar in Nagrand Outland.
And we must be Neutral with The Mag'har (with a minimum of 500 points) to purchase prescriptions.

2) Go to "The Rokk" in Shattrath City and wait for us in this mission.

3) We must return to Nagrand and kill Uñagrietas, and get the meat Clefthoof, so cooking roast Clefthoof when we have 4-5 uñagrietas and roast we went in Nagrand to Ancestral Lands, which is close to Forge Camp Fear, you recognize that a large high stockings Black rocks are.

4) Reaching Ancestral Lands put our campfire and cook giving to the pot to create our soup.

We can make necessary reputation just to make 2 or 3 Missions Garadar only fijense that reputation if it with them, you'll know when you see the name of the NPC and down to say the name of the faction to which it belongs, in this case should say: The Mag'har

The pot requires the same cooking skill (Old world cooking 275) in BfA as it did before they revamped tradeskills, which is certainly an oversight or a bug. You can help by hitting the bug report function ingame (menu->help->Submit bug)

Note that the Roasted Clefthoof can be in your bank and it will still work when you cook the Spiritual Soup.

Get the daily cooking quests from The Rokk at /way 61.6 15.8. Only 1 daily available at a time. Rewards the Crate of Meat or the Barrel of Fish. Auction House in Shattrath is at /way 51.2 26.9 if you need to buy any items.

The Rokk in Lower City has asked you to cook up some Spiritual Soup using his cooking pot. Return to him when it's done.

Death is in the air. I've never had so many orders for my famous soup--it lifts your spirits and soothes the soul.

And I know a fellow cook when I see one! Would you like to help me out and get a cut of the profits?

Here, take my cooking pot, gather some clefthoof meat and I'll let you in on a little secret. What makes my soup so good for the soul? It's not chicken--I cook it at the Ancestral Grounds in Nagrand to soak up all that spiritual stuff there.
