Listed rewards are NOT accurate.

As of build 8885, you will get:

25400 Experience points.
10 Gold (not 25 Gold 24 Silver)
And 350 reputation with the Valiance Expedition.

Questline ends up here as far as I know. ;-)

Note the quest giver Captain Adams has a "grey ! mark" above his head for level 70 players. ;-)

Go to 38.5 , 11.3

Go upstairs. You will find 6/7 necrolords surrounding him, but you can clear them without aggroing Mezhen.
He's just like a necrolord so he's just a common mob (no special skills or high hp)

ok, it isn't made too clear in the comments for this mission but Mezhen isn't in the Waking Halls, he's outside. Head to the platform opposite the one you do the Frost Wyrm and it's Master quest. If you have done the In Service to The Light (for Alliance) or The Walking Dead (for Horde) its one of the places you can kill Deathless Watchers.

He actually has a special skill called Raise Dead.

As of this date time and build, the Quest is Bugged. There were at least 3 superimposed Necro Overloard Mezhens. The skill coming from all of them at the same time, is enough to kill a Protection Pally. Apparently, one at a time can be pulled and dealt with. A lvl 70 frost mage was able to handle them. Strangely enough, I did get credit, even though we were Not partied; furthermore, they were Horde and I am Alliance. Go Figure.. :) I did send a report to the GM.. Perhaps this is why I got credit.

He is located at cordinates 39,13 in Gjalerbron. The platform directly opposite where you kill Glacion. Coordinates to get up onto the platform being 38, 11.

Description

The Scourge are at Gjalerbron and they have necromancers with them! They must be working to bring the vrykul into Arthas' fold.

I want the leader of these necrolords eliminated!

Do whatever it takes, <name>, but see to it that Necro Overlord Mezhen, and whatever he's attempting to accomplish, is neutralized.

I will not see the vrykul successfully allied with the Scourge!

Look for Mezhen on the platform in the rear right section of Gjalerbron.
