There is a clam putting off some bubbles in the water, swim over it. 45,22 is the coordinates.

To Complete this quest you need to swim underwaterm there is a Fissure giving off bubble (Fissures like this allow underwater breathing for a limited time)

Since there are only coods listed:

The Forgotten Pools are found north-west of the Crossroads and directly north and across the path from the Wailing Caverns. The pool for the quest is in the middle of the green area on you map and you can see the bubbles, from the thing you have to find, floating up in the water if you look closely from the shoreline of the pool.

It might be a change since 2.3 but you don't need to do The Barrens Oases in order to get The Forgotten Pools. It is also possible it is race dependent. I took The Forgotten Pools with undead rogue without stepping a foot in TB.

this quest is easy if u do it by killing the minimum amount of mobs.head to the wailing caverns the oasis ur looking for is the one in the middle of the map near the wailing caverns.try to avoid mobs on the way and if u need to kill one find an empty area and try to pull the mob there.when u reach the pool swim in it until u reach the bubbles at the centre as mensiond above swim over the bubbles through them and around them until it says quest complet. it should be easier this way if u want to finnish quickly.

note: if u dont feel like fighting ur way out just kill ur self after u finish the quest

This is in an actual place called The Forgotten Pools and not in the same spot as Wailing Caverns. If you go on the road out of Crossroads heading west heading towards Stonetalon, half way there you can turn north and hit a green patch on your map that will reveal this area. There are some level 13-14 centaurs roaming around but they can be avoided and the lake is free to hop in and just swim over the bubbles! Good luck!

This quest seems to have bugged after patch 3.0.8. I was on the spot for quite a few minutes yet didn't get quest complete. I even tried to running in and out of that place a few times and still no luck.

The in game quest tracking shows this spot above the pools. It is at the bottom of the pool.

Description

Have you felt the tremors, <class>? Something has cleaved this land in two. But we druids can sense other tremors, as well.

Life is stirring in lands once dry and lifeless. The oases around the Crossroads are suddenly blooming. I can sense a power leaking its way to the surface, but from where? Is it related to the disaster that shattered the Barrens?

We must find the source. Travel to the Forgotten Pools, northwest of the Crossroads. Search its waters for a source of power, then return here.
