go through tornadoes and interact with visions of n'zoth
go straight and go down the stairs and break the barrier at / 87.90, 49.71
kill Terror Tendril /way 70,00, 49,48
use Restoration Protocol for interact with Lift Controls /way 66,49, 47,82
select "Bring elevator to third floor."
kill Ysedra the Darkener
back to Chamber of Heart /way 47,01, 53,19

I was fighting the Tendril and fell below. After the tendril died, I was below the elevator and could not continue. I used the "STUCK" help which simply used my hearthstone. The way back seems to be... go back to the chamber and have Mother port you back to re-enter.

If you have multiple quests that take you into the Halls of Origination, you may want to drop all but one and complete them before picking up another. Particularly Wrathion's "Deeper Into the Darkness" and High Explorer Dellorah's "A World Worth Saving." (Alternately, if the instance is working, complete whichever the game puts you in then working on the next quest.)

I had both Wrathion's and Dellorah's quests, teleported to HoO via MOTHER and backed out to do Dellorah's quest first. After finishing Dellorah's, I could teleport back via MOTHER but the quest instance was completely empty. No enemies, nothing to interact with and all doors out sealed off. Even after hearthing out and teleporting back via MOTHER, it remained this way. (If this happens to you, drop Wrathion's quest and it will kick you out of the instance.)

I had to drop and restart "Deeper Into the Darkness" to get the quest instance to work again.

I don't know what went wrong here, but this was the buggiest scenario I've encountered yet.

After killing the Terror Tendril, I tried activating the lift to go to the 3rd floor. It took me to the 2nd floor instead. At that point, I had no further option to go to the 3rd. I was forced to kill myself to get out, which put me right back into the scenario with time ticking away and an unresponding broken lift. I had to hearth out, and return to Mother to have her re-port me back to HoO. This time, I told the elevator to take me straight to the second floor, then once there, I was able to choose the 3rd floor, kill the objective, then was done.

Combined with what seems to be unnecessarily complicated hoops to jump through for the Visions, this was not a fun time.

I'm a 432 outlaw rogue and have been trying to kill the terror tendril for days. I barely get one move out and he kills me. What am I doing wrong. Please help, I'm really stuck. Thanks

This was definitely bugged for me. After Mother transported me to the Halls of Origination, I was unable to interact with the shrine that is past the tornadoes. I used my hearthstone, and went to Uldum and flew over to the Halls. Upon entering the Halls, the scenario started and I was able to complete rather quickly.

After breezing thru this on my BM Hunter, I could not kill the Tendril on my squishy Holy Priest i410 alt. But I did find a tip.
Enter the room and fire a shot at it, let it throw down his purple haze stuff and just back up until it disappears. From that point on, it will not return. I just stood there and pounded him with DMG spells. It was dead in less than a minute. Would probably work on other low gear\dmg toons.

At the end of the quest, there seems to be a bug for some characters, preventing them from hearing MOTHER'S dialogue with Ra-den.

So for anyone frustrated by not hearing the whole conversation, here it is:

Ra-Den: MOTHER, you reconfigured the Engine of Nalak'sha to power the Forge of Orgination?

MOTHER: Affirmative.

Ra-Den: Incredible! The level of expertise that would require...You are most impressive.

MOTHER: Initiating commendation reception protocol: Thank you.

Ra-den: I would...appreciate...the opportunity to converse with you further on the matter.

MOTHER: Scheduling conversation for next available cycle. Please stand by.

Ra-den: Oh. Yes. Of course.

Did Ra-den just get friend zoned? Maybe protocol is different between titanic watchers.

You will need to have your legendary cloak Ashjra'kamas, Shroud of Resolve equipped in order to enter the anomalous source realm.

Thebe2's advice definitely worked on the Tendril; hit it with something ranged, it will spew out it's blue void damage, back out towards the doorway fast as you can then just hit it with any ranged spell or weapon you have. Did this with a Feral Dru only 406 ilvl and used moonfire over and over again, took a few mins but as long as your sanity is fine (helps alot if you can stealth in avoiding any delays) you can keep going with no damage to yourself until you kill the tendril. If you did stealth in, just watch out for mobs left behind you who may be near the doorway when you back out of the tendril's firing range.

I seem to have lost the shroud of resolve somehow… how do I go about getting it back? Or finding a new one? I already completed “beginning the descent” I’m on “deeper into darkness” and can’t proceed because I don’t have the shroud. Any tips?
