You need the achievement Kul Tourist to start this quest line. Loremaster of Kul Tiras

SO, i may be stupid or something but i had the hardest time trying to figure out how to get to the Proudmoore Keep to actually do the quest. Considering i didn't have any flight paths to the keep i took the long way. If any one else seemed to be having the same or similar issue, here's what i did:

1. Take a Gryphon from Tradewinds Markets or a Ferry
2. Fly to Bridgeport or take the Ferry to East point Station
3. Travel northwards, towards the Mariner's Row FP ( i did not have this FP hence why i flew to Bridgeport (76 /38 - coords)
4. Continue traveling north through the Mariner's Row town to the end, there will be a ledge where the water meets the city walls (67 / 53 - coords)
5. Take a left down towards Proudmoore Keep.

Make sure to pick up the 2 Flight Path's on the way.

I got this quest and I am wondering if missing a few things. Genn's letter starts off with saying I had gained the support of Kul'Tiras for the Alliance. When did this happen? I don't remember a quest, cinematic or mention that they actually had joined.

I do the first part of the quest and they mention something about Jaina so I looked it up. I never got her out of jail and now she is supposed to be in Drust hell or something? I did do a dungeon to get a key, but don't remember her actually getting out of prison.

Have I missed something important?

I have no idea how to get this quest. I got it on this character but I have not completed the three zones on this character alone. I have done two on this guy and the third on an alt. I got the Kul Turist Achv and then I got the quest. I am trying to get the quest on my other alts and have no idea how to do it as I have completed Kul Turist and it is not showing up. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I keep seeing comments and info that if you do Kul Tourist on one character you dont have to on an ALT to do this quest.

But im also seeing comments stating that you have to do the acheivment on the the character you want to do the questline on.

What does this even mean? why is this questline to cryptic?

Does this mean the questline is a one time thing and ALTs dont have to go through it? or Does it mean i have to do the Kul Tourist on each and every alt after ive already gone through the quest and dungeon via my main toon?

im so confused i sent Blizzard a ticket but no luck so far.

For me I had to go to Cyrus Crestfall in the Harbormaster's Office in Boralus. He gave me the quest.

It's a shame Blizzard locked this story, what is probably "the" story of this expansion for the Alliance, behind a dungeon run after the first 6 parts of the chain. It's not that I mind the dungeon crawl, and I know it is done in every expansion, but this seems like a great story line that takes you all over the map the way WoW used to do with their quests, and instead of immersing myself in the story, I'm looking for a group to run dungeons. In my opinion this was not the place for an introduction to the dungeons of Kul Tiras.

It could have been a wonderful quest chain for me. I'm just thankful Pathfinder part 1 did not rely on finishing this. I may come back to it at some point, but not for a while.

After all the effort you finally complete the quest.Full of excitement you run to the NPC to return the quest.You can clearly see the mark on your map. You arrive there and nothing. Reload after reload and you can't return the quest....PRICELESS...

I have the quest , watched the scene, but can't talk to Katherine Proudmoore after. Tried to log out, log back in. Tried to abandon the quest and do it again. Same result.
Not sure what to do?

If the completion quest isn't popping up over Katherine despite seeing the cutscene and having it on your minimap, abandon the quest "The Calm Before" if you have it and you'll be able to turn the quest in.

In order to pick up this quest you need to speak with Cyrus Crestfall in Boralus. If the NPC does not offer you the quest make sure you meet the following criteria:

-Be level 120
-Complete every quest in each of the 3 Kul Tiras zones. Doing so will grant the achievement Loremaster of Kul Tiras. You will need to complete this achievement on the same character you are trying to pick up the quest on.

A very odd bug showed up for me regarding this quest.
I forgot I hadn't finished the Quilboar part of Stormsong, but the game still gave me credit for having the Loremaster achievement.
I couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting "What You May Regret". It was listing "Stormsong and Dance" as "completed", except I was missing the Briarback Kraul part of the storyline.

And no, I had not done it on another toon, this is my only high level Alliance toon on this account.

Anyway, another alternative theory as to why some people may not see "What You May Regret" popping.

Curious how the Horde equivalent of this questline gives you a LOT of Zandalari Empire reputation, but for Alliance this entire quest chain awards a whopping grand total of 350 Proudmoore rep..

So you go to hand in this quest to Katherine, and the question mark is on your map, but she won't talk to you. FUN! You sit incredulously thinking NOW WHAT.

It is because Jania is busy in her war campaign stuff in the same zone, and it messes up the quest. Complete Express Delivery and you should be good to go.

Clearly, I missed the memo that you need to complete Loremaster of Kul Tiras on ONE character. Mainly because the achievement states in the Achievement Journal "All of your characters have credit for this achievement". So assumptions were made on that fact...

Pretty bummed to find out that I have to go back on my main and complete quests that do absolutely nothing for me, just to open an allied race that was a selling feature for BfA.

I finally got a clue as to why What You May Regret is still unavailable even though I completed Tides of Vengeance on a single Alliance character (I also completed the Horde version on one character, so I'm not getting them confused). After reading endless comments it dawned on me to check my progress on Stormsong and Dance and Drust Do It and wouldn't you know, there are multiple uncompleted quest lines in both. I'm betting that's what the problem is. If you're sure you've done everything and still can't get the quest, check your progress on those achievements.

It appears you no longer need to complete Loremaster to do this quest. It has come up on my new alt who only did enough to level to 120

If you are having trouble with completing this quest, it is highly likely related to continuing the War Campaign before finishing Loremaster of Kul Tiras.

If you are on the quest The Calm Before, you can abandon it and complete this quest.

If you are on the quest To Anglepoint, you must progress to the next one before you can complete.

My night elf druid that has not touched any of the quests in Kul Tiras (anniversary event alterac valley alt) is able to do this quest. My alliance hunter can't but she has completed tides of vengeance, and the war campaign. On Horde I have completed EVERYTHING. The only difference between my hunter and my druid is that the druid has started mechagon. Take with as many grains. Edit: My druid was able to complete this whole storyline without starting the warcampaign or doing a single quest in either of the three zones. Go figure.

So I ran out of quests in Tiragarde, and I was about 3k away from exalted, so I decided to do this chain in pursuit of some Proudmoore rep. I figured if saving Jainas life isn't worth a healthy chunk of rep, then nothing is.

Long story short, don't bother with this if all you are after is rep. It was 25 quests, three different dungeons need to be cleared, you save Boralus, you save Jaina, you keep Katherine from dying multiple times... and all you get for your efforts is 350 rep. 700, with the buff.

I couldn't believe it. The only quest that rewards rep is the very last one (Siege of Boralus), which isn't needed for the achievement so I can see how someone may have missed it and ended up getting nothing. Call me crazy, but this chain feels like it should reward more rep.

Oddly enough this quest wasn't available to me. I flew where Kathrin Proudmoore was supposed to be (next quest on the Kul Tiras questline), and there was a cut scene between Jaina and her brother i had saved in earlier quests.. After witnessing the dialogue, the quest was on my map. So if you cant see the quest try that.

Cyrus Crestfall not showing up for you on a faction changed toon even though all the others comment said it should since you already did the story on the Horde side (or for whatever spaghetti code reasoning)?

Go to Stormwind and start the Kul Tiras intro quest by picking up Tides of War (and ignore the location the map tells you the quest pick-up is, it's actually picked up from Hero's Herald). Complete that intro questline through to the quest "The Old Knight" (~5min). This quest will allow Cyrus Crestfall to finally appear in the Harbormaster's Office in Boralus (67.96, 22.11) with this quest available to pick-up, What You May Regret.

Is anyone able to help me?

I have finished Loremaster of Kul Tiras and the quest "What You May Regret" is not available from Cyrus.

I am seeing some comments saying you need to be level 120 (level 50 now because of the squash). I am level 43.

Once I hit level 50, I won't be able to queue for the BFA dungeons? I don't understand what is happening and I'm getting really frustrated. Someone please help me.

(2022) Hello, after literally hours of research and testing to find the solution to why the 'What You May Regret' quest (the first part of the 'A United Nation' achievement) was not showing up for my character, I finally found a solution. I made an account for Wowhead because everyone deserves to know!

Issues:
1) Cyrus Crestfall was not showing anything for this quest.
2) Flynn Fairwind was not in the Harbormaster's Office.
3) No possible way to pick up this quest!

Fix/Requirements:
1) Complete the Loremaster of Kul Tiras achievement.
2) Complete the Pride of Kul Tiras achievement.
3) Be level 50.
4) If you have the quest 'The Calm Before', abandon it.
5) If you have the quest 'To Anglepoint', complete it.
6) YOU NEED TO COMPLETE 'Siege of Boralus: Lady Ashvane's Return'. Please note you do not need to actually do the dungeon!
Step 1: Go to Katherine Proudmoore (44.8, 62.6 - just above the Proudmoore Keep, Tiragarde Sound teleport up the stairs).
Step 2: Pick up the quest 'Siege of Boralus: Lady Ashvane's Return'.
Step 3: Abandon the quest 'Siege of Boralus: Lady Ashvane's Return'.
Step 4: Pick up the quest again.
Step 5: Quickly click on Katherine Proudmoore and click the option to skip the dungeon.
7) After you have done this, head to the Harbormaster's Office to complete this quest through Taelia.
8) Genn Greymane will appear and he will have the quest 'A Nation United'!

Took hours of trial and error but I am finally on track to get the Kul Tiran Human. Goodluck everyone.

You no longer need to complete the dungeons as part of this quest chain; each quest allows you to skip it by talking to the quest giver.

At some point, you will have to defeat Lord Stormsong in the Shrine of Storms. He cannot be soloed unless you do enough dps (40k+ is safe enough on heroic or mythic) as he will reset after 20 seconds.
